Just arrived in London. People are a bit agressive there. Visit London they said.

ME2Sentinel How boring it is to play Sentinel till you get weapon training. Now I have Assault Armor (rank 4), throw of rank 2, passive of rank 2. Just run around using shuriken and exploiting rank 3 armor for CDs of my squad. It is fun to run with assualt armor but that fun does not last long (already). Once messed with some files to get SG in the very beginning for each class - that was great. Feel as if I am a soldier only with weapon limitations. Finished almost everything before Horizon. Will finish Kasumi LM and get Grunt. ME3Morinth-build PT Well, still try to find some balance how can get combos (throw + pull) and use Dominate at the same time. Now I mostly run and shoot (Morinth had AR and SMG training as do I now). Use throw from time to time. Watched "Puppet Master Engineer" of RedCaesar97: looked like mostly shooting as well. Do not know how entertaining it was (?!?) Anyway, got Eve and there are missions ahead to test this build more.

Finished ME2. Hopefully I will get the ending I wanted instead of the crap I got from the previous playthrough in ME3.

There might be a new bug in Arrival. When Shepard has to defend against 5 waves of enemies in the room with the artifact, I heard something like "deploy the mech" over the intercom, but the Ymir never spawned. I had to just sit there, me and my combat drone, until the artifact activated itself. Arrival was always buggy. But that is certainly new. Good that the mech did not need to spawn in before the object activated so you did not have to replay it.

Just finished up Saphira's playthrough of Mass Effect 3...it was...just as an emotional ride as it was the first time around.
Made the decision to pick the Destroy ending...wiping out the Reapers once and for all.
Ah...I wrote a small piece from my Shepard's perspective (includes a tiny bit of head canon, since I'm partial to the Happy Ending mod ) They always say that time heals all wounds, but they never mention how long this takes.
Several years ago, I was a Commander in the Systems Alliance, fighting against the greatest threat our people had ever seen. Massive machines of untold magnitude, capable of great feats of destruction…the Reapers.
We build a machine that was to wipe them out, but no one knew the costs, not until it was far too late. And when it was…it was up to me to decide the fate of billions.
In the end I decided on what I had set out to do, destroy the Reapers…break their cycle of mass destruction once and for all. And they were destroyed…along with anything that held their technology. I…lost many friends that day, and broke several promises.
Despite the destruction that took place, it'd take a while…but we'd rebuild, and now we’re stronger then ever. Even the Geth…and EDI, were eventually rebuild, I don’t even know how, you’ll have to ask the scientists and technicians.
When I joined the Alliance, I joined because I wished to see the stars, meet people I could only dream of. Though, in hindsight…had I known about all the battles I’d see…the nightmares it’d bring along with them, hell…perhaps I would’ve declined. Anyway…it is done now, and time for me to leave. There's still much to do and see after all, though perhaps a dream for someone else.
This is the last you’ll hear from me. Signing off for the final time…

Your Shepard came out really good. Good shots of her. *** From the Personal Log of Cerberus Commander Abigail Shepard, August 25th, 2185The Maelon mission...as Mordin said...did not go as we really expected. He was working with the Werylock clan voluntarily to cure the Genophage out of guilt of what he and the rest of the team did during the modification project. In so doing he did a lot of horrible things and inflicted a lot of tough to watch damage on anyone in order to get us way. Including humans they had captured, and Krogan. Its hard to sympathize with his real motivations since Werylock made it clear they intended to dominate the rest of the Krogan and then take revenge on the rest of the galaxy. They have a right to their feelings but I do not want to die over what someone did to the Krogan generations before humanity even achieved space flight. Which is part of the point. Its hard to judge, fully. Part of me is repulsed by the stories that I hear as I am repulsed by any stories I have read over any war crimes that humanity has visited upon each other. But I wasn't there. Neither for the original genophage or the modification project and just being high and mighty seems disengenious and arrogant to me. And I have met enough Krogan to know that they really are that violent and that much of a threat...sometimes when all you have is bad choices, you still have to chose the one that does the least amount of damage possible. Of course I did push Mordin over the Krogan corpse that we found. No real feeling behind it, well maybe a little repulsion but his answer was quite telling. I don't think he liked what he did with the project either. I do not think he is comfortable with it. He sounded a bit annoyed and defensive that I would imply that he did not care...which just proves how much he does care. Yet he saw no way through it but to commit, he truly thinks it is the best course of action at the time...but he does not revel in it or try and just forget about it. He learns, and moves on. Seems familiar. Though we have little time to reflect, we already got a new message from Cerberus Command, seems another one of their projects has declared some kind of emergency...we are off to investigate on it. August 28I admit I am a bit annoyed at the Illusive Man and Cerberus Command right now. We had no idea that we were walking into a den of Geth or what this Project Overlord entailed but here we are. Seems like they wanted to do their own version of...well what a certain Quarian was doing. And it backfired on them too resulting in the death of much of the project staff. The only survivor we have thus far found has been the Project Director Gavin Archer. He filled in the details and had me sabotage the communication array to stop the VI infection from getting out that has taken control of the geth and all technology at the site. I have Mordin and Grunt doing a sweep through the facility now as we speak. Looking for survivors, counting the dead, looking for any active intel. With as great a hold that this VI has over the facility it is a bit difficult to get...anything from them. Of course we also have to muster out and hit the other facilities to solve this crisis once and for all, so we aren't done here. I'll leave Grunt and Mordin here as we sweep through the rest of the facility. Of greater concern is the nagging thought in the back of my head that the Illusive Man just bites off more then he can chew. This feels like a project from the *old* Cerberus, and while on some level if it worked out if we can get our hands on the Geth it could be a great military asset for either us or the Quarians...but it just does not seem to work and given their borderline sentience seems to be creating a slave army. But Archer in one of his logs mentioned pushing things because of what the Illusive Man was growing impatient. Seems a weird way of doing things and just as dangerous. He keeps his hands clean because he does not specifically order these atrocities but then he still pushes people into reckless action by implying things. A sort of hands off nudge nudge wink wink implication to war crimes. Still again as unhappy as this makes me in the thought but I just know the Alliance was hardly any better. Damned if I do...

From the journal of Mark Shepard: So I managed to pick up Benezia's daughter Liara from some Prothean ruins. Geth robots did not make it easy. There was a Krogan Battlemaster too, but he was kind of a pushover. Also the ruins were in a volcano that exploded, so that was fun. And at on point Ashley dared me to spit over the side, so I spit over the side. I'm no coward.
From the journal of Mark Shepard: I have not had much time to write in this journal since I have been so busy. Saving the galaxy from bad guys is hard work. So much happened in the past few days, a lot of it is starting to blur together.
Let's see, first I mangaged to shut down a rogue VI on Luna that went haywire, convinced a retired Alliance major to peacefully surrender and disband his cult, and then I stopped a Geth incursion into the Armstrong cluster.
After that, I helped Garrus bring Dr. Saleon to justice, recover Wrex's family armor from soe turian asshole, and managed to save Chairman Burns from some biotic terrorists. I also managed to find a missing survey team that had been turned into husks (creepy! and dangerous!). And then there was that incident involving a braindead guy and his crazy girlfriend; kind of wish that had a better ending.
Let's see, what else... oh! There was this guy that was killing all these scientists, but I managed to stop him from killing the last scientists. Apparently they worked for some secret organization called Cerberus (Admiral Kahoku also mentioned them), and they had killed his squad and tortured him or something. Anyway, I managed to convince him to let me arrest the doctor and put him on trial.
And then there was an issue with a missing Alliance probe. We found it in the bottom of a mine. Some asshat named Elanos Haliat bragged that he was the one who attacked Elysium all those years ago and he blamed me for his failure. He tried to trap me in the mine with the bomb. I managed to defuse the bomb and escape the mine, only to find out that scumbag also stole my car! Well I made sure to gift him a bullet (or three) to the head.
And then there was more Geth as I survived a trap from a false distress beacon, and later trying to extract a data module from a crashed probe. And I also found a use for that trinket the Asari Consort gave me: it went into a Prothean sphere that gave me another stupid vision (along with another headache).
And then there were the Thresher Maws. A lot of Thresher Maws. Wrex says Thresher Maw meat is tasty. I had some. My toilet -- and my stomach -- is never going to recover.
Playing as an Engineer on Insanity. I want to test something related to cooldowns, and so far I have put points only into Electronics, Decryption, and Charm. I have about 60 or so unspent points. And I am steamrolling through the game. The changes to weapons may have been a little too much.
That being said, the original ME1 was kind of hard early on Insanity, but got easier around mid game. ME1 LE just feels like it made the entirety of ME1 easy. Or maybe I have played the original ME1 so much that I know what to do and the changes to the Legendary Edition just made it easier.

Yesterday shut down the Blood Pack Factory, did Mordin;s LM and stopped him shooting Maelon and copied the data and wiped the PC. I like this mission and especially shutting this clown up, one of the few Renegade actions William Shepard has taken along with throwing the guy on Thanes recruitment mission out the window. Did Jacob's LM and didn't kill the dad but sent him to Jail, not sure I have ever taken Mordin on this mission, he's very chatty. Went slightly out of order of the list I am following for Recruitment and loyalty missions. Was supposed to do Thanes after Jacob's but did Garrus's first as there is no special dialogue for that and it would have been next anyway. Let Harkin live, really wanted to kill him but trying to play almost pure Paragon and stopped Garrus killing Sedonis. I like Garrus's LM for the combat as much as the story Thane got a bit of Yoga in on Garrus's LM For people who might not know in Jacob's LM the ships name the Hugo Gernsback is named after an old Sci Fi writer and inventor who the "Hugos" award presented at the World Scince Fiction Convention is named after. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_Gernsback

I got to play a lot today.
We freed the workers at an Eldfell-Ashland refinery on Zorya in the Ismar Frontier. The workers were essentially enslaved by Vido Santiago and his Blue Suns. We freed them and saved them from the blaze that Zaeed started, but Vido got away. Zaeed was pissed but got over it.
We discovered the final resting place of Estavanico, a long missing vessel. It was scrap, but its logs were recovered.
Another crashed vessel revealed a shipment of corrupted security mechs. We traced them to a station where they'd corrupted the station VI and gotten everyone killed. Finally, the point of origin was determined: a Hahne-Kedar research facility. Shut it down permanently.
We recruited Jack, destroying an orbital prison in the process. We also recruited Grunt, wiping out yet another band of dumbass Blue Suns in the process.
The Collectors attacked Horizon. We saved half the colony. Ashley Williams was there, and still not all that likable. 😆 I took Garrus and Grunt, since squaddies who can actually stay on their feet and contribute are important. No problems, and Garrus got to chime in on Ashley's thick-headedness.
I saved there. I'll tackle a few LMs tomorrow and continue recruiting. I like to get Jacob's and Miranda's LMs done early. They're fun and smooth the flow of things later. The Collector Ship will get me the Mattock; and Illium will allow me to grab the Kestrel gear. Fun times approach.
I definitely think Sentinel is the best class for ME2 Insanity. It can strip all defenses, has reasonable weaponry, and has insane toughness. That's probably how it became my favorite ME2 class. It's also my favorite in ME1. For ME3, it's one of many good ones. Adept is probably the one I enjoy most; but I like them all excepting Engineer. Those drones just aren't my thing.

Marcus helped Liara become the new Shadow Broker, and rescue Feron. When TIM gave Marcus the intel to help Liara, TIM likely didn't consider Liara would end up replacing the Broker. Marcus now has a trusted source of intel that he can use to verify what TIM is telling him. After dealing with the Shadow Broker, Marcus worked with Garrus, Thane, Zaeed, and Jack cementing their loyalty. He also got a new "toy"; a hover tank dubbed the M-44 Hammerhead by Cerberus. It is more of a glass canon than a tank.
Maybe I am being more forgiving this time around, but Liara hasn't rubbed me the wrong way yet. In fact I think she works better as a best friend than a love interest. She goes to similar lengths to rescue Feron as she did with Shepard. I don't know if it has been fixed in ME3LE, but in the original ME3 it annoyed me how often she referred to Shepard as a friend when you could confirm the romance on Mars. So far this run has solidified Ash as my canon romance, and Liara as Shepard's best friend. It also has put me off Miranda a bit, I had forgotten how pro Cerberus she is until nearly the end. Prior to MELE I usually romanced her, so maybe that is why she seemed to switch her loyalty from Cerberus to Shepard earlier.

So I have a question-- that's always kinda bugged me. The email from Ash on Horizon in ME 2 after your apparent 'break-up'....Is there an audio log of recorded dialogue (actually in the game) of the lines being voiced by Kimberly Brooks? Because as far as I can remember I have never heard the audio recording in any of my games, I've always just read the text.....And it would be nice to hear the actual spoken lines.

I don't think it is in game but I think Brooks read it seperatley on her own at some point for a convention or something? Not sure if I remember the exact circumstances but I know i have heard it. Oh okay. Make sense. Thanks Col.

Maybe a bit of a long post I'm afraid in advance. But first off been musing and wondering something. Now for reasons I will get into when I get there this may take awhile to bare fruit but I am wondering on how to handle Abigail's first few log entries in Mass Effect 3. Especially from the RP perspective of her relationship with James Vega. Now I was thinking of having them know each other...well at least a little well...having them bump into one another fairly regularly before the events of ME 3...given I suppose they do seem to know each other a bit when she greets him in the opening cutscene of ME 3. But now I do wonder if I should leave them as just aquiantances in the logs that have barely interracted due to the complication of him being her guard essentially. Which this comes from the whole conversation where he christens Shepard 'lola' it seems like they don't know one another well if that is the first time he is christening her with a nickname...what do you think? Anyways more stuff in the vein of more personell files rather then personal logs...so yeah. Inspired by a recent episode of SEAL Team I watched.
From an EIT (Enhanced Interrogation Technique) Inquiry, by Lt. Mark Rolston, August 4th, 2183.
Introduction:
The goal of this inquiry is to determine whether or not Commander Abigail Shepard, assigned to the Spectres and the Office of the Naval Special Forces, N7 division, is guilty of war crimes and whether or not further prosecution, investigation, or Court Martial is recommended at this time and what measures the Alliance should seek to redress any potential diplomatic fallout from the Batarian Hegemony. Our analysis will both focus on psychological testing as well as the physical evidence involved.
Analysis:
Of note there were two different types of bullet wounds found on subject Ballak, the head Batarian Enforcer assigned to the raid on Asteroid X57. Anti personnel rounds from an Assault Rifle, and standard issue pistol rounds. Forensic experiments on the wounds indicate the wounds by pistol were done after those with the AR, however there could be a few different explanations for this. More damningly however is the fact that it looks like the AR rounds were ‘aimed’ in a general manner which indicates intent to kill, the spread of them indicates the random fire of combat but with a focus and emphasis on the chest, torso, and even the head. But the pistol shots indicate a deliberate striking on Balak’s extremities.
Balak himself is being damnably silent on this issue. Giving the Batarian equivalent of name, rank, and serial numbers to any further Alliance interrogators and refusing to comment on Shepard’s interrogation of him, my speculation is likely out of pride.
Shepard’s own interview on the subject has been just as cagey and evasive on this issue. Perhaps the biggest indication for further investigation on this subject. She has however continued to pass on her initial intelligence she passed on to the Alliance Admiralty earlier. It should be noted that the intelligent, while putting the fleet on high alert and resulting in the stopping of a similar Batarian raid on the colonies of (redacted), the words themselves from Balak were non specific and vague. So if Commander Shepard did use EIT in her pursuit of Balak it should be noted that it was as effective as it always is.
Recommendation:
While under normal circumstances I would recommend that further investigation into the matter would be warranted Commander Shepard is hardly a normal circumstance and without hard evidence, like a direct statement from Balak.
Owing to her political position in the past makes further investigation untenable. To date Abigail Shepard has been brought to the attention of six inquiries and one confirmed use of EIT during her career. In that instance though she was pardoned for the crime from the then sitting Prime Minister Naguchi. Also given her position as the first human SPECTRE it would be further unwise to start prosecution processes since the Council gives their agents wide latitude to conduct their operations with a wide degree of latitude. They may give the same lip service to basic morality and the rules of war, but look the other way when it comes to their own agents, and will protect them unless the evidence is incontrovertible and usually involves a mass loss of civilian or allied personnel. Given both these facts I cannot recommend further investigation into this matter.
However given the nature of Balak’s injuries we should release him back into the custody of the Hegemony in order to give him proper treatment, something else we can thank Shepard for if she engaged in EIT.
Report on the Question of whether Systems Alliance Commander Abigail Shepard Should be Pursued for Recruitment into Cerberus, Compiled by Cerberus Officer Miranda Lawson and Cerberus Agent Maya Brooks
Introduction: With SPECTRE Shepard’s rise to stardom and celebrity in the wake of the attack on the Citadel and subsequent installation of an human led Council in the wake of the death of the old Council in the attack on the station by Soverign has led the Illusive Man to commission a report whether or not Commander Shepard should be approached for recruitment by Cerberus given both her public status and her general skills.
Analysis:
In many ways Abigail Shepard would be the ideal Cerberus Agent from a tactical standpoint as well as her temperment. She has socred high in tactical aptitude scores and makes for a competent leader and tactician as she has demonstrated throughout her career in engagements both before the Eden Prime War and during.
Of greatest potential boon to our efforts is her general lack of opinion on the Council and disdain for politics in general. She often clashed with the Council as the official minutes of those meetings indicated,, she has been vocal in her opposition in off the record conversations on who and what the Council is and humanity’s involvement in them, and also officially lodged a protest in her nomination to the Spectres. This shows her overall disdain and frustration with the political process. She prefers direct action with a limit of political oversight which helps lead her to preferring to act on her own initiative.
She is a woman who prefers quick military action rather than allowing than waiting for beurocrats and politicians to act. This suggests a mind set that could be in alignment with Cerberus objectives.
The problems arise from her potential disagreement over Cerberus tactics and goals. While she didn’t agree with the old Council she has also expressed official reservations about a human led council. She has said that she didn’t do this to see humanity on top, but to engage in the most reasonable tactics in time to defeat Sovereign. Her distrust seems to be for politics in general and not for the specifics of an Alien led Council. Thus, it would be difficult to see her agree with Cerberus’s objectives to see humanity on top, as well as our reputation for racism against the other species might also be a problem. In short while she has a reputation for human nationalism she does not support human dominance and was even quite willing to work with aliens as the Krogan warlord Wrex and the former C-Sec agent Garrus went out into the field with her on numerous occasions.
Furthermore while she has been at odds with the Alliance government she has not have similar feelings for the Alliance military. Our killing of the Rear Admiral Kahoka was not taken well by her and she has exhibited an extreme loyalty to those of her fellow officers who she respects, having great respect for the chain of command overall.
Worse still during her war against Saren and the Geth she also engaged Cerberus agents on numerous occasions. These were some of our most high risk experiments with some ethical conerns and she shut them down by force, this could color her perceptions even further of us and set us in an overall bad light. This could further complicate our efforts to recruit her into our ranks.
Recommendation:
There is a heavy risk in approaching Abigail Shepard for recruitment at this time. Cerberus’s public presence, both in the media and by Alliance command, has increased ten fold in the wake of operations against us during the Eden Prime War, approaching Shepard will likely further increase our profile as well as give Alliance authorities a clue into our recruitment mindset if she were to report us to the authorities. This and their is no guarantee she will be receptive to these demands given her engagements with Cerberus Operatives in the past and a fundamental disagreement/ misunderstanding of our overall tactics.
However I would still recommend the attempt should be made. The reward may be just as important to consider as the risks and given her current frustrations with human policy and her first post Eden Prime War mission for the Council may be the final straw in breaking her of Alliance influence and receptive to our mandates.
From a propaganda standpoint Shepard could be used to great effect. Seeing the Hero of Humanity, the first human Spectre, abandoning those institutions in order to join Cerberus...seeing her in a Cerberus uniform...could greatly draw up our own recruitment efforts as it might attract other military or civilian personnel into joining our ranks who are also as frustrated as well as, given her reputation for being fair and for fighting us, might even draw up a moderating influence in general public opinion. If she could be our poster girl, using her celebrity as a means of weakening Alliance influence on humanity it could help us in any number of operations in the future as well as our long term objectives.
From a tactical standpoint her value to Cerberus is indispensable. She is an Alliance Commander, a well respected Officer with command experience. Her Special Forces experience is almost unparalleled within human circles conducting numerous operations in a decade of service. To note she would be the only N7 in Cerberus ranks if we officially recruit her.
If we decide to recruit her, all efforts should be made to dispel her fears about us. That we only want to protect humanity and not rule, that we aren’t anti alien, and that we can engage in direct action while Alliance rules and regulations just slow down the process keeping them drom doing the most good. We should try showing any alien recruits or a willingness to work with aliens to assuage her fearlessness further, if we stick to this, I am sure this can help grease the wheels and lead to her ultimate recruitment into our organization.
From the Personnal Logs of Cerberus Commander Abigail Shepard, August 29th, 2186*she looks dark, forelorn, distant at the far wall, she snaps forward.* Sorry, I was creating a personal log wasn't I? Sometimes it just amazes me the atrocities that one human can visit upon the other. What we as a species are capable of. The tubes, the conduits, the prongs connected through every bit of David Archer. Keeping him awake, peeling his eyes back. There is no justification for this. Even 'understanding' the Geth. I know I have done some dark things in my career in the name of getting the job done, or the brief moments I have lost control. But there is no way to justify this. No military neccessity. Even if there was another way the insanity of trying to even control the Geth is quite the risky proposition to begin with so there is little in the way that can be learned from this operation in the first place. So what happend to David Archer goes against every law of man that I know. Every law of the military. I suppose it goes without saying I got him out of there. September 6There was little time to waste when we got set up giving everything we had to do and the time sensitive nature of both operations. The Garrus operation brought us back to another old friend of ours. Harkin ended up being the forager 'Fade' that helped Sidonis dissapear. He had quite the operation going and a lot of cover from Blue Suns operatives. Out of all the Terminus Systems mercenary organizations we have run into the Blue Suns seemed to be the most professional and even keeled of the lot. They put up heavy resistance with multiple mech assists but we were able to fight out way through. It took a little persuasion on our part but we were able to secure Sidonis's location from Fade and set up a meeting. As a note he suffered a bullet wound to the leg during the struggle and was last seen limping away with slight blood loss. I radioed in his position to C-Sec and hopefully they will be able to catch up with him. Garrus was a little tense over the whole thing. I wasn't entirely sure this was ultimatley the right thing to do in the situation. Sidonis was a former friend of his and revenge does not always work out...but Sidonis was just as haunted as Garrus was. Maybe his death is the only way either of them would be able to find any peace. September 6, supplementalIntel was tight about the timing of the assassination that Thane feared. At least we weren't too much delayed by the Overlod disaster to prevent Kolyat from assassinating the Turian. This mission has given me a chance to really learn from Thane and learn about him. I have some questions about the timeline but it seems Thane's life is one that didn't succesfully manage to balance work with his home life. I have always been married to my job in a way so I've never had to worry about that balance so I can only imagine what it would be like, but I am sympathetic...I can see the pain his his eyes as he talked to Mouse and Mouse relaying the story of how they had met. The man does fascinate me a bit and I am glad we could attempt to help him out. The interrogation of Elias Kellham went quick. We had little time to late so I had to put the fear of his life into him, and I did so, he gave us his target and away we went. I ended up doing a rather...unique solution...to the problem. I killed Kolyat's target. It may be direct action and it could've easily ended in my incarceration but I had a feeling Bailey wouldn't pull that trigger. The man was a racist, a criminal, and was poised to become another corrupt elected official on a station chalk full of them. I know from my experience that the courts and the current political climate on the Citadel likely wouldn't do anything to him...so I took matters into my own hands. He did deserve to die, I'm just glad that I'm the one to pull the trigger and not Koylat...and if it keeps his hands clear, keeps him from walking the path of me or Thane, its worth it. Bailey agreed to take Kolyat on, it will give him stability and a guardian while Thane conducts the rest of our mission. Afterwards and after the furious operations pace over the last few days, a mission and then a follow on and then what happened in Overlord...it was really tempting to just go blow off steam with Garrus. Even given our biological differences and the risks associated with them it was realllly tempting to engage in a good old fashion one night stand with the Turian. It has...been awhile and well its always a good way to relieve stress. But I just couldn't bring myself to commit. I couldn't do that to Garrus. He is probably my best friend and there is always a risk that a one night stand with someone you have to work with could complicate the relationship, make either party start wanting...more... which if it were him I would have to turn him down, and if it were me it could just end up being not what I need given the suicide mission we are going to take apart in...and I couldn't do that to him. Not after Kaidan. I have to be better then that, and we are better without risking our friendship, we are too good friends to risk. So I suppose I will just have to settle for sparring.

So yesterday didn't get a chance to do too much Did Thanes LM and did Grunt's LM without any trouble. Usually in Thanes I get lost 20% of the time and sometimes get killed in doing Grunt's rite of passage. Shepard head butted Uvenk and Grunt killed him after the Rite. Thane is staying touch with Kolyat. Interviewing Kelham is frustrating playing Paragon, resorted to Renegade at the end to get it finished. Boarded and stopped a ship from crashing into a planet, boarded another ship full of Blue Son's and recovered an artifact and boarded another ship and stopped a missile from hitting the Residential area, sorry Space Port people. Was a bit slack taking pic's yesterday. Was fun seeing Charr and Ereba on Tuchunka Smiling Krogans make me nervous One of the better conversations in the whole trilogy

I have always felt that James was part of the guard detail, and Shepard avoids conversing with his/her guards to keep any perceived bias or black marks off their records while he/she was under "investigation'. I want to know is why is Hackett off scot-free when he was behind the initial black op and then getting Shepard involved? His request that Shepard go in solo, made me think he was looking for someone to clean up his mess, and letting Shepard "take the hit" in his place if things went sideways. Shepard has two stealth specialists on his/her crew, so why specifically ask Shepard to "John/Joan Wayne" the mission, when it goes against all military protocol?

From the journal of Mark Shepard: Noveria sure is a cold place to work. The temperature outside is also cold. Way too many shady people and corporations there, but at least I got through with my integrity intact. I think. I may have lied one or two people along the way, but everything seemed to work out in the end. I got managed to get some bureaucrat arrested too.
Between the Geth, Asari assassins, Asari commandos, Rachni(!) and a lot of heavily-armed security personnel, I am surprised we made it out of there in one piece. I'm glad Liara and Ashley were there to help, but I feel really bad about having to kill Boobsnezia in front of her daughter. Liara seems to be doing okay, but it must be tearing her up inside. At least we got the location of the Mu Relay, but no idea where Saren is actually heading.
Tali bounces a lot. Must be the elevator music.

Though at the end of the day could be a big fish little fish sort of situation. Had Shepard not sacrificed themselves then the blame could have easily fallen on Hacket as the next in line, which would have made any attempt to get ready for the Reaper war moot. Plus this was a totally off the books mission maybe as far as anyone would've known Shepard just went rogue.

Plus this was a totally off the books mission maybe as far as anyone would've known Shepard just went rogue. I can see why Shepard would decide take sole responsibility, without Hackett, Anderson is really the only other Alliance officer working to prepare for the Reapers. Heck the Alliance could play it off as Shepard working with Cerberus and wash their hands clean of the whole thing. And if Shepard was reinstated as Spectre, Hackett knows Shepard is likely to avoid any repercussions.
