One free pack a week for twenty weeks is a pretty minimal bonus for anyone who puts any significant amount of time into the MP. Playing Gold in ME3MP you can get a Premium Spectre Pack for about every 30 or 40 minutes of playing, give or take. Put in even just a couple hours a night and you're looking at least a dozen packs every week, so one pack more or less isn't going to make or break the experience, in my opinion. If you look at the long term, using ME3MP again, it takes easily 700 or 800 hours to unlock everything, so shortening that by the amount of time it takes to earn 20 packs is a pretty insignificant difference. I agree, of course the catch might be that those packs have a better return on getting a rarer item then ones in the store. To me I might have more interest then I do now if I was able to get all 20 at once instead of over 20 weeks when I might not be playing the game anymore. Its a lot like a Season Pass, for I don't know if I would be playing the game 6+ months after buying it to play all the DLC that I pre-ordered.

I would say yes as I@ve heard that they'er pretty much done with the exception of tidying things up and checking for bugs and things but given how big a game like this is that could take a while in itself. I definitely get the feeling based on the fact they've started to show ussome bits and pieces on the game now we'll definitely be seeing it at some point in March. Especislly given that it's available for pre-order on Origin.

Spring could be very well April or even May too. The fact they didn't announce the release date yet makes me thinking that it will be released on late Spring.

Spring could be very well April or even May too. The fact they didn't announce the release date yet makes me thinking that it will be released on late Spring. Spring goes all the way to the end of June 21. I'd hate to wait that long but if that's what it takes for a healthy game, no problem. I will meditate and focus positive chi towards Bioware finishing up ME:A for March with no major issues.

Is there any info on this. I was hoping for an actual date soon. Doubtful. For the past year they have been saying early 2017. Which means Jan-March. Notice now all reports are saying spring 2017. Which means March-May. The game is clearly not coming out in Jan-Feb, and even March (the offical art book comes out in this month) is looking shaky. The game has "delayed" written all over it, yet Bioware won't just come out and say it.

They can't come out and say anything if their internal estimate still have March as a deadline and as of last week, that was still the case going by some tweets.

That is 3 months from now.....not really that far off. Most games have a release date more than 3 months before it launches. The fact they haven't set an official release date says a lot. If they don't announce it by this time next month, I seriously doubt it is coming out in March.

Again they said Spring, they never said March, people made up the March release because they assumed that the artbook and the game should come out at the same date. However this could not be the case as EA said in an interview they have no problem delaying the game if BW feels the need for it.
Even assuming they intended to release it on March (even though this is our assumptions) they (BW and EA) conveniently picked Spring 2017 as a release date which would shield them from saying openly that the game was delayed because technically it's Spring till the 21st of June. I agree with you though that the fact they didn't announced the game date means they are going to release it later than March. I'm more inclined to a late April or early May release.
I might be wrong though.

I agree with you though that the fact they didn't announced the game date means they are going to release it later than March. I'm more inclined to a late April or early May release. I might be wrong though. Again, the "we'll delay if we have to" remark was not from an interview. It was from an investor briefing. They pretty much have to say that in case it does slip, but it came after they said it was slated for q4 of their financial year, which ends with march. The artbook thing was from the publisher and said it would ship with the game. Outside of EA, that's probably the best source there is as they will be in touch with marketing plans. So, tldr, I think you're wrong and march 21 is the target date. But yes, they are willing to deviate from it if they absolutely have to. Keep in mind, that would be a second delay after the original holiday release plan, so they will go a long way to avoid that. It's a really bad signal to send.

Depends on how fast they're working right now and whether or not there will be setbacks in development. They only delay the game if they aren't on-schedule by january or so.

Gamespot: www.gamespot.com/articles/mass-effect-andromeda-director-talks-destiny-inspi/1100-6445983We've heard before from EA and people at BioWare that you won't release Andromeda until it's ready, so it could be delayed again. How is it shaping up now and are you confident of making the spring release date? We're very confident. Bringing Mass Effect to Frostbite and a next generation of consoles has had its share of challenges. But the team has handled them all and is fully focused on finishing what we started.

As of now, the art book is still set to release March 21st, and even the a writer of Bioware has said that the game is still set to release in March, and in an interview today it was explained they are very confident they will make the release date. The game has no clear signs of a delay aside from that investor call explaining Bioware will delay if they must, and even then Bioware is making fantastic progress and has no need to delay. If the game is delayed I will eat a bag of elephant dicks.

No offense to Bioware but that facial animation fail looks a lot like another Bioware game facial animation that took them awhile to get fixed...I am sure all know the one I am referring to: The SWTOR Beta.
Took them 3 months past public launch to get it fixed. And before they did fix it -it was worse too. At one point the character would go black when opening their mouths.
