Voting for March 2017.....because if it comes after May....I'll have a second kid....and I most likely won't have time to play it for a very long time. Really??? CONGRATULATIONS!!! HAPPY GARRUS IS PROUD OF YOUR PROGRESS MOTHERHOOD Edit: on topic: 21th of March because in BioFan I trust (and I bet for him so... ehem, ehem)

I'mma just gonna say March 21st, because of the 3-2-1 launch thing, but it totally syncs up to what BioWare/EA has released, and 'cause BioFan's a cool guy. I mean, anytime a gaming company has a date line up like that, they totally have to jump all over that stuff.

First-hand experience. Newborns are rather 'gaming-friendly', especially if you get yourself a ring sling. Which is extremely handy to have for a second baby anyway (a must-have, if you ask me). Wraps are good too, but they are less mobile and take slightly longer to master. The things only get complicated once they are old enough to pull the wires and chew the gamepad. ....And few years later it's going to be 'mommy(daddy), can I have another 15 minutes, pleeeeaaase?..'

If a game gets delayed as much as MEA it's usually delayed again not so long before release. So I'm expecting their announcement in January-February that game is delayed for another month or two.

I know the place holder is March 2017, but I could see it not coming till Fall 2017 since the date is still a placeholder and I could see a delay till then since I am pessimistic on these things.

Yup.
Better to wait a few more months and get it right, that push to meet an arbitrary deadline and disappoint.
It would be different if game development timelines were different.
But if I'm going to wait 5 years between games, in the end, "rushing" it out the door to save a couple of months ... no.

Seems EA has learned its lesson as well... as in not forcing the BW to release before they are ready... if it's going to be a considerable delay I hope they give us some story to chew on in the meantime

Yeah, I have no problem with BioWare delaying the game to get it to where they want it to be. (And it'd give me more time to get that new PC rig together... )

It's a pleasent thing to hear that Bioware will have EA's blessing if they feel a delay would improve the game.
That said, I don't think a delay is in the cards unless something unexpected has come up since they seem to be sticking to early 2017 but it may be that they've continued to keep the exact date vague because the exact month within early 2017 is still uncertain.
Personally, I'm fine with delays.

I wouldn't have a problem were they to delay the game again. A consensus between both BioWare and EA on delaying Andromeda, and making sure the game is better and as good as it can possibly be, is always preferable to the game being rushed to meet a deadline and some fan demand. I also have a load of games I need to play and finish before Andromeda, so for me personally lol, a delay may not be such a bad thing

Mass Effect Andromeda final quality will not about development time. It's clearly EA is letting Bioware take as long as it needs, just like it did with Dragon Age Inquisition.
The real question is talent. Does the present Bioware have enough of it to produce a top tier RPG? We know the Dragon Age team does not, but what about team Mass Effect? We will only know when we get the game.

I wouldn't have an issue with a delay. My friend would flip his shit and I'd find that super amusing so there would at least be that bit of personal entertainment till I then personally had to deal with there being a delay. yeaaah.
Anyway, I don't think we'll end up getting one, least not one that's to considerable. I mean the most recent put out teaser for N7 day says coming 'Spring 2017'. That's March, April and June. So latest would be June... which I still think March is the more likely month if for no other reason then recent tweets seem to indicate they're hitting crunch time.

Certainly wouldn't mind a delay if it means avoiding a catastrophe similar to ME3's ending.
It also looks like EA has learned it's lesson from the aforementioned disaster which is quite refreshing to say the least. Also, credit to EA for saying BW has their blessing for getting the game right instead of pushing a game out before it is ready.

So latest would be June... which I still think March is the more likely month if for no other reason then recent tweets seem to indicate they're hitting crunch time. I'm not trying to be argumentative with this question. I'm legitimately curious. In which part of the world is June generally considered Spring? I'm well aware of the astronomical starting point of summer, but where I'm from (Midwestern USA), Spring is generally considered March-May, with a few weeks in June being only an astronomical technicality. I suspect this delineation is based upon when warm weather arrives in a region. For us, it can arrive as early as March, so June is very much Summer, regardless of the date of the Solstice. I'm guessing your "summer" arrives much later than ours? Anyway, on topic, I agree with many that posted above. I'm glad EA is willing to give BioWare time. The fallout of ME3, two "Worst Company in the US" awards (no matter how absurd), and then the accolades DAI received (no matter how slim the competition) seems to have penetrated some thick skulls. More likely, some financial impact was felt beyond all the bad press, and DAI was a much needed victory. Whatever the case, I hope to be playing MEA in March; but I'd prefer a delayed game to an unfinished game.

I'd rather have a delayed game than a bad one. Now, would I personally be annoyed... Oh yes, I have two weeks of vacation starting march 20th that I can move around easily during spring, but gets tricky in the summer.
Having said that, I very much doubt they'd drop a teaser yesterday saying it comes out in spring and then delay it past that.
