ME:A - Nvidia CES 2017 Trailer (Now HQ!)

Bioware needs to throw up a direct feed so we can avoid these jittery, muddling IQ screen recordings.

Why would they show a story demo during a technology convention?

They showed off a quick gameplay demo to show off what's possible with the GPU driving the game for some cross promo material. CES isn't E3, so showing off story would've made absolutely no sense.

You have two months for story snippets. Gameplay is always shown off first as eye pleasers. They did it for the past three games and they did it for Dragon Age. Every major game, from Metal Gear to Grand Theft Auto, has gameplay features before they broached story snippets.

Well, not so much Metal Gear as much as other games, but even then, they showed off plenty of gameplay.

Yeah, outside of Peebee they seem to be being very mum on the other characters and the story. Wonder if that has to do with a reveal in the next two and a half months before release or that they want it all to be a surprise to the player. Would not mind the latter though would like to see a least a little more on those fronts. Overall, despite the fact that it was short I liked what they showed of the combat and skills. I do wonder if you can just switch profiles on the fly whenever during the game or if you get more options later on as the game processes after picking a opening profile?

I think they are probably being mum on the characters so people can get to know them in game and it won't be spoiled....OR....we always heard during DAIs marketing that they were going to show off more character stuff, and they didn't, so clearly they aren't making promises they can't keep this time...

They might be waiting until the end of the livestream...?

Looks like a pretty generic shooter. Combat animations look very clunky..

Or maybe they are all playing that "holiday build" that Aaryn Flynn talked about and forgot to up the video?

The explosions effect looked very ugly, worse than Inquisition's effects.

Yeah...I really don't know why they refuse to show us anyone :/
