Yeah, outside of Peebee they seem to be being very mum on the other characters and the story. Wonder if that has to do with a reveal in the next two and a half months before release or that they want it all to be a surprise to the player. Would not mind the latter though would like to see more on those front. Overall, despite that it was short I liked what they showed of the combat and skills. I do wonder if you can just switch profiles on the fly whenever during the game or if you get more options to later on after picking a opening profile? I think they are probably being mum on the characters so people can get to know them in game and it won't be spoiled....OR....we always heard during DAIs marketing that they were going to show off more character stuff, and they didn't, so clearly they aren't making promises they can't keep this time... I did not know that about DA:I, usually I do not follow the marketing as closely for games I know I am going to get or are sequels to ones I have played but ME:A is a different case. I would not mind if they stayed quiet on the characters as a suprise, but you have to at least show what they look like before launch. So I guess in conclusion I am excited by the trailer, honestly this is the first ME A trailer I actually enjoyed watching but I have gone back from being super excited by the profiles to back to being cautious. Which is kind of what I was hoping for because Id id not want to let the hype continue to build and then be cut off at the knees during launch.

Looks like a pretty generic shooter. Combat animations look very clunky..
I'm always skeptical of evaluating game graphics quality on livestreams because there are too many variables between the game and what I'm seeing to tell where the culprit is. Is it the game? The video? The stream? My internet connection? My graphics? I have no idea. On fullscreen the video looked blurry, but that's probably not what it would look like if I was playing it on my computer without 5 other things in-between.

And your point is? The game looks like a generic run and gun shooter. The landing animations and the dodge animations especially looked the worst. I'm not even sure what they're going for with those terrible side dodges. No use of cover whatsoever when this game at its core is a supposedly a cover-based shooter. |

Heehee, that gameplay gave me a big smile. Very flashy, lots of movement, reminds me of Vanquish but with more style.
Sadly less than less than hoped, less than expected (was certain we'd see something about the mysterious Liam/Cora). Nice to hear Tom Taylorson though, and Ryders snark. That armor was cool, and the release date (confirmed earlier) of March 21st was the best part. The next Ai video (NOMAD & Tempest I believe) should be coming sometime this month I imagine. Though I really hope it won't be another month before we see another gameplay trailer. All and all, I enjoyed the video but now I am just hungry for more!

Dodges look what the way the look because you use jetpack to do them...and I like the way they look. Cover is still present and existent (you can even see "Take Cover" on the screen when Ryder has no shields), there are just no convenient chest high walls everywhere |

I don't know...maybe that animations very likely have latency (or other issues) when viewed on a livestream? That's why I always take them with a grain of salt. Maybe the issue is the person playing in the video didn't play that particular fight like you would? Unless they reveal a whole lot of plot, we aren't going to see much other than combat.
I find the screen very busy during combat, which is distracting. I hope some of the UI can be disabled so I can actually see what I'm doing.

Similar to DA:I fireworks display during combat. Very childlike, imo.
