Male Romance Options

 ... I need this mod for my pre-MEA trilogy playthrough 

It's been a while since I did biology in school, but I'm pretty sure mammal refers to any animal that gives live birth. Whales and Dolphins are classified as mammals, so I'd imagine Asari, Krogan, Turians and Quarians would be as well. 

I'd rather not see beards on any male LI's. I just don't like them. Stubble and short facial hair can look really good, but I don't think I've ever seen any sort of facial hair look good in a Bioware game. 

No, live birth is not a requirement for mammals since we have two species of mammals on Earth who lay eggs and we have non-mammals that give live birth like some reptiles and fish. What makes an animal a mammal is that they feed their young with mammary glands, hence the name.

I am actually pretty confident there will be some gay aliens in ME:A. I could be wrong, but I think that they're going to give pretty even romance options this time so hopefully that will carry over to aliens as well. 

I'm cautiously optimistic, but worried that they won't meet my unreasonably specific standards   

Actually, bringing up Romeo and Juliet, they said squadmates wouldn't die this time around, but there was no mention of non-squad LIs if I remember right. I wonder if BioWare will try to pull another Thane. Man that would suck.

I don't think we have any evidence to state either way if the species in ME are warm-blooded or not but my guess would be that they are. If any of them weren't warm-blooded, my guess would be the salarians and krogan, both reptilian/amphibian like and egg-layers. And hanar too, I suppose since they are invertebrates.

I don't think turian females have breasts, so they would likely not be mammals since we don't have evidence that they feed their young with mammary glands.

The other species it's an unknown since we don't have enough evidence. So vorcha, batarians, volus, and elcors -- no idea if they would be mammalian.

Asari would almost certainly be considered mammals. The only mammalian trait that they appear to lack is fur/hair, but that can be explained away as an adaptation of some kind or by stating that they have ear hair or nose hair. Similarly, quarians seems to possess all of the traits -- hair, breasts, likely warm-blooded. So I think they are a lock for mammals.

So ultimately, my guess would be that the only definite mammals are quarians, asari, and humans. A few unknown. And a few unlikely.

I feel like they'll be more than two male romances for Scott. Don't know why, since it hasn't happened before, it's just a feeling I have. And that's not including the "light" romances.

I'm betting on one squad mate (most likely Liam) and two crew members. Maybe Liam, the Amdromedan alien and one crew member, if the amdromedan isn't female exclusive.

And that's assuming the andromedan is male. I could see them being female or genderless, if the cut squadmate was male or a male looking synthetic.

I also have a feeling Reyes will be a crew LI for Sara only. Just a hunch.
