From the Journal of Ioan Shepard:
- Sur'Kesh: Things did not go smoothly. The dalatrass took her time making sure they knew we were coming and it got a little tense. Fortunately, Padok Wiks arrived to stop any hostilities from happening. However, Wrex was not allowed entry into the STG facility so I would be making the exchange. Saw a yahg here. Salarians are planning to uplift them. It's as though they learned absolutely nothing from uplifting the krogan. Padok Wiks, however, differs on the krogan and the yahg. He's pro-genophage cure since he feels the krogan may be play a role in the galaxy that no one could predict and politics shouldn't keep that from happening. Also met former Captain now Major Kirrahe, who I'd met on Virmire. His idea to blow up the krogan breeding facility with a nuke, but the Council said I was the one too rough to deal with Ilos. Not that I cared, since I stood by the decision. Further, Kirrahe offered his support and that of an STG squad regardless of what the dalatrass decided. Amazing individual. - As I entered the elevator, salarian fighters started scrambling. There was an enemy incursion into their airspace. We went down into the base and were greeted by none other than Mordin Solus. He was Wrex's source. As it now stood, only one of the females had survived since Maelon's cure had weakened their immune systems. Mordin wanted to get her safely off-world. Quite the change from his prior justification of not only the genophage but also his work on modifying it as the krogan began to shows slight signs of immunity to it. - Then an attack came. It was Cerberus. They wanted the krogan female dead. We had to get her to safety. Mordin accompanied her in her pod while Garrus, Liara and I fought from the ground. We had to use consoles to pass them through various checkpoints to get to the landing area. Had to fight through lots of Cerberus troopers and an Atlas mech at the end. Still, we safely escorted the female to the Normandy. - Normandy: Hackett told me in no uncertain terms to make sure the turian/krogan alliance happened. Mordin said he could synthesize a cure from a combination of the krogan female and a healthy male (Wrex, in this case). EMS: 571. - Utukku: Wrex said something was going on near the "rachni relay", which was in the Ninmah Cluster. Krogan scouts were there looking into a potential rachni presence but had gone silent. He wanted me to investigate. When I touched down, I found Grunt there in charge of Aralakh Company. He'd certainly risen in the ranks to be running such an elite krogan squad. We went to the scout camp but ended up at the entrance to a tunnel, separated from the krogan. They'd have to try to follow us from above. - Found signs of what looked like Reaper tech, which would explain the rachni presence. The queen had promised to stay away, even in her message to me through the asari on Illium, and I just didn't think she'd go back on her word - not if given a choice. Then we encountered rachni, heavily modified with Reaper tech. As if to prove Reaper involvement, there were also husks. Based on everything we saw, it looked like the Reapers were trying to breed a rachni army to send against the rest of us. If Cerberus were indoctrinated, it would explain why they wanted the krogan females destroyed. - We fought our way to the central chamber and found the rachni queen chained up. She spoke to use through dying krogan and explained how the Reapers had done this to her and taken her children away to fight their war. She said if we freed her she would fight against the Reapers. The trade-off was that Aralakh Company would die. Yet, I remembered the reasons for my decision three years ago and knew that letting her die meant the species would go extinct. I chose to save her again. Grunt returned to our position to lead us out. Then, we things got to hot, he told us to leave him behind. I had opened his pod a year ago, giving him life, and now I felt as though I were sentencing my own child to death. I was not feeling good as I approached the shuttle. Then I heard something behind me. I turned and saw Grunt, bloody and weak. I'd never been so happy to see a krogan in my life! - Normandy: Hackett was unsure I'd made the right decision with the rachni queen but I stood by it. They'd told me I had the power to make alliances and that's just what I did. However, he couldn't argue that cutting off Reaper supply of rachni and gaining additional krogan support didn't turn out to be a good thing. Wrex was also glad about how things turned out, if somewhat wary of the rachni queen. Then Mordin said the cure was ready, needing only a widespread way to transmit it. He came up with the Shroud, which had been used by salarians to repair the atmosphere millennia ago. It's also what spread the genophage in the first place. It also contained the original genophage virus and could be used as a transmission vector for the cure. Reports from the Crucible say that the rachni showed up and smoothly integrated themselves into the project. Sounds like a win. EMS: 671. - Benning: Cerberus troops were attacking citizens in the streets. This one was beyond baffling. No way to spin this one that it was for the good of humanity. We had to defend civilians for evac while fighting off those troopers. Cerberus denied responsibility. Hackett believed it but I didn't. Those troopers were all indoctrinated. It shouldn't be any kind of surprise that the Reapers would be able to control them. EMS: 701. - Citadel: Met with Cortez, just watching ships arrive to the docks. That was relaxing for him. I think his interest in me might be more than professional but I wasn't going to pursue him. Kelly Chambers told me she "betrayed" me by giving information about the emotional state of myself and the Normandy crew to TIM. But that's what she was supposed to do and she thought she was being helpful. No hard feelings. She was there for me. Informed Ambassador Osoba that I found his son's body in the slums of Benning and gave him his dog tags. Gave a prothean obelisk to a volus ambassador who said he could use it to help with the Crucible project. Gave biotic amp prototype upgrades to a salarian doctor. For my trouble he gave me...90 exp? Informed Ereba at the Blue Rose Gift Shop that her krogan husband died on Utukku and had left her a message. I remembered helping these two get together. Sad ending. Secured the allegiance of the Blue Suns. Learned that Matriarch Aethyta was Liara's father and pushed them to meet.

"Alright, coffee here, all ready. Shoot." "Next we headed to Zorya, to help Zaeed. I mentioned how he was promised my help from Cerberus? Well, the mission he abandoned to work as part of my team was to liberate a refinery from the Blue Suns." "Liberate? So he wasn't so bad after all?" "Wait for it, mom. He was after a Blue Suns guy called Vido, which he had been chasing for 20 years. Zaeed actually founded the Blue Suns together with this guy, but he betrayed Zaeed. Zaeed wanted his revenge, Vido was on Zorya. But Zaeed was reckless and set the refinery on fire when we met Vido. He only wounded him though. Vido was obviously a bad guy and big threat, but I had to make a decision. Zaeed wanted to go after Vido, but the fire was spreading, and the workers in there were trapped. Add to that that if we didn't shut down the gas valves inside, the whole place might've blown up. So we headed inside to save the workers and shut down the valves. I thought Vido being injured from what Zaeed had pulled off, we'd be able to catch up with him. But we lost time when he sent his mercs to greet us, and when we finally had caught up with Vido, he was already in his gunship and got away. Zaeed was pissed and we argued. I actually wanted him off the ship. I couldn't trust someone who jeopardises a mission like that with his irresponsible behaviour. He calmed down though and in the end he stayed, said if I didn't need him, Cerberus wouldn't have paid for him. I gave him this second chance and we were on our way." "Sounds like it got pretty heated." "Yeah, it was. Things calmed down though, and we headed to the Citadel. I wanted to help Garrus with finding the guy who betrayed his men on Omega, Sidonis. And Thane had also asked me to help with something on the Citadel. Garrus was really tense, he wanted Sidonis dead badly. We followed some leads and ended up in a warehouse. The whole time I thought how I could get through to Garrus. He wasn't really himself, or at least not... the way he was when we first worked together. I knew he had his tough and renegade side, but he was deep in this whole mess. We got to a former C-Sec officer in the warehouse who helped people disappear. Garrus knew him and I did as well from the time when we were investigating Saren on the Citadel. He was a scumbag, but cooperated when Garrus pressured him into giving up Sidonis. We left and I proposed to first talk to Sidonis before we did anything else. I wanted to try and solve this differently. Not for Sidonis's sake, but for Garrus's. He was too worked up, the thoughts of revenge eating away at him. So while Garrus got in position with his sniper rifle, Tali accompanied me to talk to Sidonis. I learned that Sidonis had killed Garrus's men because he was threatened to be killed if he didn't cooperate. So he did as asked. He never got over it and paid for this with not getting enough sleep at night. I asked Garrus to not do it, and he listened to me." "You did good, honey. Sounds like Sidonis was in a bad position, too. Did Garrus calm down?" "Eventually. He didn't want to talk for a while, so I let him be and helped Thane deal with his son in the meantime. His name was Kolyat and he had taken a job on the Citadel as a hit man. We quickly found out who had ordered the hit, and the target, a turian politician." "And did you stop Thane's son from doing it?!" "No... Everything was fine at first and I followed the target on the maintenance catwalks for some time, but one of the doors was stuck and I couldn't get through. I lost him. Kolyat got to him and Thane and I arrived only to see him getting away in a shuttle." "Oh. That's too bad." "Yeah. But it's all in the past. So, after we were done on the Citadel, we headed to Tuchanka next." "More krogan business?" "Yep. And salarian." "Salarians and krogan? That must've been interesting." "It definitely was." Piiiics Whoops, another loyalty gone Haha, the Paragon way is funny! Persuading... I crack up every time when he calls Thane frog boy, it's great! Oh, that bad bad door! And there he goes. So, in the end I didn't spec Tali into Area Drain yet, because I hadn't thought of the upcoming missions all being enemies with armored protection layers, and not Shields So now she has Explosive Drone, and with the cooldown reset from the Assault Armor, this is pretty awesome. I died once during Zaeed's LM, roasted by a Pyro and deservedly so. Shouldn't have gotten that close to him Garrus's LM though was alright and I got through without major problems. But I screwed up hitting the YMIRs on the clamps, so I had to fight them all. I need to really practice this in future runs, haha.

"You head to Cerbeus headquarters to deal with them." "Yes. I had Miranda and Ashley with me. We ent--" "Hold up. What about edi?" "What about it? I had no robot on my ship like is seen in the game. If I did, I would have thrown it out the airlock. I don't agree with Bioware adding that in the game. In fact Jeff Moreau has told me a few times he would never have feelings for a mech." "Yeah. I would say a lot of folks weren't too happy about having the hologram take over a platform. Back to what you were saying." "As soon as we entered the base, we came under fire. At the same time, they were trying to vent the hangar. Fortunately Miranda found a console to prevent that. We made our way through the base, when I encountered the Kai Leng guy. Ashley killed him. Moments later met TIM, the leader of Cerberus. He wanted to control the reapers. He wanted to advance humanity. I liked his idea, but I wanted the reapers destroyed. Miranda shot him." "Wow. Very different from the game. While this was going on, the Citadel was moved to Earth." "It was. I don't know the exact details, but I was surprised there was no SOS. It could have been indoctrinated agents who moved it. I don't know." "This is where Samantha tells you she wants a house, kids and fence." "I like that scene especially the white picket fence." "What happened next?" "It took a lot of time to gather all the fleets to head to Earth. While that was happening, it was proposed that myself and team with a couple platoons of soldiers, head to Earth before the main fleets show up to deal with Hades Cannons surrounding London. We met Anderson outside of London. There were 4 of them. Each team had at least 2 cains with them. After they were dealt with, the fleets headed to Earth. While that was going on, we made a push to get to the beam. We avoided the reaper that was guarding the beam. Myself and Anderson went up while the rest headed back to the Normandy to help the fleets above Earth." "That is very different from the game. What did you think of the evacuation scene?" "I didn't like it. I would never have done that. In fact that whole plan to get to the beam was bad." "Let's take a break."

"We're back. Ok. You and Anderson made it onto the Citadel." "Yes. We ended up in different spots. Don't know how that happened. I walked forward when a door opened leading to a large chasm. I look to my left and saw Anderson. We made it to a console to open the arms. Soon after, the Crucible was attached to the Citadel. For a few minutes, Anderson and I waited for something to happen." "Let me stop you there. Odviously you had a good view of the battle going on and of Earth. What was going through your mind at that time?" "It was hard to see Earth wounded. I actually had a few tears running down my cheeks. I also saw the reapers were doing a lot of damage against the fleets. I looked up at the Crucible wondering why it wasn't firing." "Did you and Anderson say anything?" "Nothing really. He was looking around the console to see if there was a button or something that needed to be pushed. I was about to call Admiral Hackett when we heard a hum. It seems like it was starting to power up. We decided that it would be a good idea to leave the area. We didn't get far before I was knocked out" "Don't keep us in suspense Commander." "Ha. I woke up about 5 weeks later. I was in a hospital. Dr.Chakwas was there, but wouldn't tell me anything. Hours later Samantha showed up to explain what happened. It turns out the crucible fired a pulse throughout the galaxy that destroyed the reapers. Earth and the rest of the galaxy were currently cleaning up and starting to rebuild. My body was recovered within a short time after the crucible fired. Unfortunately Anderson was in critical condition from his injuries. He later died......Dr.Chakwas put me in a medically induced coma to allow my injuries to heal and because I suffered a serious head injury. During that time, Samantha and James decided to remove me from the hospital I was in and have me moved to another where there were less wandering eyes." "During that time is when your wife started her company, Checkmate Industries." "Yes." "One last thing. The Normandy. How did your wife take it for herself to use?" "She has never told me. Not sure if I ever want to know. Its still used today. All I know is when you see it, it has the Queen chess piece painted on both tails of the ship and Checkmate Industries painted on both sides." "The next time you're on my show, you need to have your wife with you. So many questions I like to ask her. So ends this episode. Thank you to the wonderful Commander Shepard for spending time with us. Tune in next week where I will have special guest stars, Ozzy Osbourne and Prince Charles. Make sure to go online to the shows website to learn more. Goodnight everyone."

From the Journal of Ioan Shepard:
- Tuchanka: Before curing the genophage, I wanted to investigate the Cerberus presence on Tuchanka. I wanted to avoid them interfering with the cure anymore than they'd already tried. Turns out they were trying to commandeer some ancient krogan cannons. Instead, we got control of them which gave us an advantage in the system. EMS: 726. - Now it's time to deal with the Shroud. Unfortunately, a Reaper is next to it and using the Shroud to poison the atmosphere. We needed turian air support to keep it occupied while krogan forces attacked from the ground. Then a small team could get inside and release the cure. The dalatrass contacted me before leaving and tried to convince me to sabotage the cure but not let the krogan know. In exchange, she'd offer salarian support. I refused. Unlike on Virmire, I saw real possibilities for krogan having a better future. With Wrex, Eve and Grunt around I could see positive change here. I couldn't stab my friends in the back no matter what. If I weren't doing the cure I'd be up front about it. I refused. - On Tuchanka, Wrex and his brother Wreav almost went head-to-head over the presence of Mordin. Eve set them all straight and she and Wrex then aimed them toward the Reaper as the enemy they were "born to fight". Hell, I think we were all born to fight Reapers. Unfortunately, a chunk of the road was out and at first they thought it impassable. But we got to that road by first riding over rubble. They were able to get through but me, James and Garrus had to travel on foot through the underground "City of the Ancients". Kept feeling tremors but also found statues and artwork on the walls. Having artwork meant they were more than just barbarians and could be again. Eve suggested the tremors came from "Kalros, the Mother of All Thresher Maws". And then we saw the painting of Kalros, looking much larger than your average krogan. And I've killed a lot of thresher maws in my time. Then we found a dead Rachni, which was more problematic should we find any alive. - Aboveground, we found a place that wasn't rubble, simply overgrown - which in itself was amazing. Plant life really wasn't a thing on Tuchanka. There was a bridge, a waterfall, a river...looked beautiful. Unfortunately, Reapers were here: cannibals, ravagers, brutes and husks. Then we actually lay eyes on Kalros, or at least part of her. She had to be the size of that Reaper using the Shroud. - Finally hooked back up with Wrex and the rest. Eve had come up with a plan to summon Kalros using these giant maw hammers. Then Kalros could fight the Reaper. I only had to risk being shot directly by the Reaper's beam in order to get there, all the while dodging brutes. Just before setting off to do this, Wrex told me that regardless of the outcome, from here on out the name "Shepard" would mean "hero" on to the krogan people. No doubt my loyalty to this guy was well and truly justified. - Don't know if I could have got past that Reaper if the turian Artimec Wing hadn't returned to join in the fight. When both hammers had been activated, Kalros rose up and attacked, actually succeeding in killing the Reaper. It was outstanding. Unfortunately, the battle damaged the Shroud. Because of STG prior sabotage, and the damage, Mordin said the only way to release the cure would be to go up into the Shroud, which was falling apart. He wouldn't be returning. He did believe that Wrex and Eve were going to create a promising future for the krogan. I just wish he'd have been around to see it. He died a hero, just like Ash, for what he believed in. And we watched the cure rain down on Tuchanka like bright, shining snowflakes. That was hope. - Even after the cure was in place, Wrex's words spoke up someone who wanted a better life. He remembered how his own father had tried to kill him right there in the Hollows. Instead, in the future, he would fight for his children rather than against them. Wrex even said he'd name one of his kids after Mordin. Moreover, he said he would immediately deploy troops to Palaven and, when the time come, he'd be with me to reclaim Earth. - Normandy: Hackett was amazed at my curing the genophage and deferred to my judgment in refusing the salarian deal. Primarch Victus that agreed to start sending ships to Earth. - Garrus convinced me to get some rest but I wished I hadn't. Another nightmare. I saw the kid again, as well as shadows of the dead. As I chased after the kid, I heard the voices of Mordin and Ashley. When I reached him, he again burst into flame. One thing I noticed this time was that he had my eyes. - Liara came to see me in my cabin. She said the salarian councilor wanted to speak to me. He wasn't happy with my krogan decision but that wasn't the purpose of the call. He thought Udina was dirty and wanted help investigating him. I was to return to the Citadel immediately. I get very few orders from the Council but when I do I had to respond. EMS: 1260. - Interview with Allers about curing the genophage. I played them up as former heroes during the Rachni Wars who wanted to be heroes again. Got me some additional krogan support. - Mordin Solus had been added to the memorial wall. I guess I'm glad that we're respecting those who fought beside me when even when the Normandy was a Cerberus ship. No one could doubt that I had made the right decision back then anymore. I was just sad to see another name up there. - Liara wanted to see me in my cabin. She had created a beacon that, should we lose the war, would warn the next cycle of the Reapers. It also gave information about the Citadel and the Crucible. She wanted my opinion on an entry about myself but I told her I trusted her to put what she thought best since she knew me well enough. She was going to see various worlds across the galaxy with these beacons so they stood a better chance of surviving the aftermath. - Interesting email from Shiala. She's fighting alongside the colonists on Zhu's Hope against Reaper forces and has some kind of mental connection to they were all controlled by the Thorian. She said she's also still indoctrinated from her time aboard Sovereign but that the voices of the Reapers were drowned out by the colonists. - Citadel: When we arrived, there was no one to direct us in. Something was up. Joker tried emergency channels and go Thane of all people. He said the Citadel had been attacked by Cerberus and that Kaidan had gone to protect the Council. Seemed curiously timed given that the salarian councilor had just told me he was suspicious of Udina. The thing I didn't understand was how Cerberus was able to pull this off. It's almost like they used magic to conjure up troops out of thin air because there's no way this may people could be part of their organization. It doesn't even make sense to attack the Citadel while we're in the middle of a war. - We helped Bailey get into C-Sec HQ. Had a message from the salarian council (Valern) that chances of betrayal from within were high. He was also meeting with the executor, which would only happen if a high level prosecution was about to take place. Evidence was pointing toward Udina. We headed off toward the executor's office to hopefully save Valern and find out what was going on. We fought out way through Cerberus troopers to the executor's office. All we found was a dead executor and two dead salarian bodyguards. Then I spotted Valern below. He had been using a tactical cloak but for some reason made himself visible, which is precisely when a Cerberus ninja attacked. In fact, he would have killed Valern had Thane not arrived. There was a fight that ended with Thane being stabbed and the ninja running away. We pursued. It turned out that Udina was leading the other councilors right to Cerberus, maybe to the assassin. That meant Kaidan was also in danger and unaware of what was really going on. - Followed him to an elevator and were very close to the councilors. Then we caught up to it and landed on the roof of their elevator. Shots were fired but I assumed they thought were were Cerberus. Then we got to the spot where the councilors were supposed to take a shuttle to safety only it had been destroyed. Garrus, James and I all had our weapons aimed at Udina and Kaidan had no idea what to make of it. I understood how he could think I was with Cerberus because that's how it looked. I told my squad to lower their weapons and did the same. Had to show some good faith. When Udina tried to open the door, the asari councilor tried to stop him. He shoved her away and drew a gun on her. Pretty compelling evidence he was the enemy. Kaidan took the shot and killed Udina. - Headed to Huerta to check on Thane, who had just gotten out of surgery. Kolyat was also there. Thane was trying to say some final prayers but needed help. Kolyat had a prayer book and I joined him. After, I asked why he was praying for forgiveness when his last act was heroic. Kolyat told me the prayers were for me. I guess he understood that all the killing wasn't good, no matter the reasons for it. Another hero, another friend, gone. - As I returned to the Normandy, I ran into Kaidan. He wanted to talk about what had just happened, not liking the armed standoff with someone he loved, and believing I would have taken him out. I told him never could have happened. I guess he forgot after Virmire how I told him I could never leave him behind. No different today than it was then. He also wanted to make sure he acted with integrity in regard to shooting Udina and I told him he had. Finally, Hackett offered him a position elsewhere but he'd turn it down if rejoining the Normandy was an option. Honestly, it was the only option as far as I was concerned. - Normandy: Hackett and Anderson were baffled by Udina's betrayal. I had to assume indoctrination, either by the Reapers or whatever method Cerberus was using to create their troops. Scary that they could access someone at such a high level. EMS: 1703. - Had a chat with Kaidan. His dad went back to active duty but is MIA and his mother is alone on Earth. Glad he shared with me.

Melody Shepard, Colonist/Sole Survivor/Infiltrator, ME3 Insanity: As she was leaving the Spectre office, Melody met Jondum Bau, a salarian Spectre investigating a hanar diplomat who may have been indoctrinated by a Reaper artefact recovered from a batarian station, and who needed her help to narrow down precisely which diplomat was the culprit. A minute later, she encountered Kasumi Goto who had leaked the information about the hanar, and who was Bau's nemesis, having repeatedly evaded arrest. Melody and Kasumi hacked the hanar communications and figured out which hanar was responsible. Kasumi hid using her cloak while Melody and Bau apprehended the diplomat, who had been brainwashed into supporting the Reapers because of their connection to the Collectors, the former Protheans revered by hanar religion. The diplomat revealed that he had released a virus into hanar defence systems that would deactivate them, leaving their homeworld open to the Reapers. As Melody and Bau dealt with the hanar and his bodyguard, Kasumi decloaked and hacked through the virus, using the explosion caused by the hanar's failsafe to fake her own death, evading arrest once again. Unwilling to sign up for another suicide mission on the Normandy, Kasumi instead agreed to join the Crucible project as a tech expert. Melody ordered the Normandy to the Arcturus Stream to defend a major city on the human colony world Benning from Cerberus troops who were kidnapping civilians for conscription into their forces. The Illusive Man's forces were no match for Liara, James and Melody (armed with both her Indra and the mighty CLAYMOAR); the attack was repulsed and the civilians evacuated. During the initial phase of the mission, Melody found the identity tags of an Alliance soldier who had been stationed at the colony. EMS: 485 Two player deaths on Benning: one grenade, one general mess-up. I then tried the mission again and died twice again I am terribad.

From the Journal of Ioan Shepard:
- Normandy: Interview with Allers about Cerberus and the state of the Systems Alliance. - Citadel: Helped a salarian with his documentary on the Holding Docks. Gave moral support to Cortez in putting his husband's last audio log on the memorial wall so that he could move on. Brokered a trade of medical supplies with a turian refugee leader. Kelly Chambers survived Cerberus looking for her since I had insisted she change her identity. She had taken the added measure of making "Kelly" go off the grid. Conrad Verner was preaching about Cerberus. He was trying to follow in my footsteps but joining them. *sigh* While people were distracted with him, Cerberus sabotaged the medi-gel dispensers in the area. Conrad did give me his dark energy/xenotechnology integration paper that I passed on to the Crucible scientists. Then I fixed the dispensers and informed the nearby doctor. Conrad showed up and pointed out his Cerberus contact. When the man fired at me, Conrad jumped between us, saving my life. Or so it seemed. After I dispatched the Cerberus spy, I checked on Conrad. He was fine. Jenna, who had been undercover for C-Sec three years ago, had learned how to disable a pistol. Somehow, she'd gotten hold of the spy's pistol and caused its thermal clip to overload rather than fire. Those two were enamored with each other and went off together. - Investigated a volus ambassador who might have been working with Cerberus. Some logs of conversation between the volus and Cerberus gave me a better picture. He had reached out to them because he was aware that I had been working with Cerberus in stopping the Collectors but the spun things to make it seem like they were the heroes. He tried to sever his connections when he realized how monstrous they were. Also learned that a turian colony was in danger and that Zaeed was involved. Some turians had hired mercs to kill the volus because of his Cerberus connections. Using a comm device the volus left in his office, I was able to tell him to drop my name to Zaeed. So when I showed up at his location all the mercs were down except Zaeed. The volus was safe. We got the name of the endangered turian colony and a volus bombing fleet as a bonus.

You cheater! How can you not commment on the Prothean? And Shepard can dance? OH--MY--GOD! The clone survived, not the real Shepard! On the Purgatory dance floor, Shepard is shown able to dance. Now, I have JAM and Anderson Extended Final Conversation mods installed, but I doubt they did anything about dancing. For whatever reason, that's the only placed Shepard can dance well. Must have been the right music and possibly also gone in line with Joker's take on things: hands in the air when you just can't be bothered to care about what anyone thinks because the world is ending.
As Joker's well put observation, the moment Shepard's dance - next to an asari if I recall correctly - is actually the desperation dance, not proper "dancing". Just ask Jack if you doubt me.
The mods I'm using are EGM, ME3 Recalibrated and Back Off (as well the textures replacements). EGM adds a ton of good content and remake the war assets in a much better way, since decisions in ME1 and ME2 impact more in the game and you don't have anymore squadmates with higher values than entire fleets or worlds. It also adds more strategy since some assets will be losted in the course of the game, something that's missing in the vanilla game, so you need to plan a little more what you will do or not. Sabotaging the Genophage is not a simple "moral" choice now.
ME3Re corrects a crap ton of lore and bugs errors also and Back Off is a personal preference of mine.
I remembering using MEHEM two times, the first version and the version before the latest 0.5. Didn't liked any of those.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the mods are bad or shouldn't be used, in fact is a miracle and an acomplishment what Fob did. But the end, the Catalyst and the crap-utterly-hateful-BS scene in the Citadel cup between Shepard and Kai Leng are what they are (add Thessia btw). The only way these can be corrected is with a SDK and EA/Bioware will never release something like this.
To be honest I like the dark tone of the ORIGINAL ending. I agree it should be better conducted, specially if you are playing a imported save, wich reveal a contradiction of ME3: the ending works better if you are using a fresh save. The irony of it all is Bioware even had an example of how to handle it, since The Withcher 2 was already on the market and depending of your choices in the first chapter, the second chapter runs entirely different in two ways. It's not simply replacing characters and changing some aspects of the story, you have two distinctive and different paths. On the other hand Bioware didn't had the time to do it, ME3 would need at least one more year of development if they really tried to implement everything they were planing IMO. They cutted Palaven from the game because lack of time (and Thessia looks a lot unfinished).
And in my head Shepard don't survive, so I don't have problems with her/him dying.
Now... I'm going to Tuchanka. Should I sabotage the Genophage or not?
Better yet! Should I be like the Protheans, who did exactly the same as the salarians and uplifted the Rachni and then had to exterminate them or not?
Krogan empire? Pfff, it's Human Empire...

"I took Grunt with me because he had been acting up for some time. I was afraid he'd rip apart the ship and I had hoped someone on Tuchanka could help us with this. We went to see the clan leader on Tuchanka, who was none other than Wrex." "Really? What a surprise!" "Yeah. He was even glad to see I was still alive. He had changed quite a bit too. What had happened on Virmire with Saren's krogan clone army led him to a plan to unite the krogan clans. Stop their infighting over fertile females and make them stronger as a whole." "That's an admirable way to go." "I was surprised too. That was pretty reasonable for a krogan. But anyway, he was able to help us. There was nothing wrong with Grunt, he just became a full adult. Krogan in this phase undertake the so-called 'Rite of Passage'. It's a ritual that sends krogan into an unknown challenge." "That sounds terrible." "It was. We managed, but honestly, it was exhausting and terrifying. We had to fight some creatures in an arena-like place, and after a couple of waves, a thresher maw appeared outside the walls. I don't know if it was skill or sheer luck, but we managed to take this thing down. On foot. It was something no krogan had done ever since Wrex had completed the Rite. So we gained a lot of respect from some of the krogan there. Some were a lot friendlier to us outsiders afterwards." "Not bad, honey. I'd have loved to have seen it." "Ha, I doubt that. You'd have ran away by seeing the first creatures released on us." "Perhaps..." "So after that was done, I picked up Mordin from the Normandy. He had gotten wind of a captured salarian, a former protégé of his, on Tuchanka, and I wanted to help release him. We found out that the salarian was inside a krogan hospital, held by one of the clans that didn't want to join Wrex's endeavour of uniting the clans." "Why did they only capture one salarian? What was so special about him?" "Well, we had assumed they were forcing him to find a cure for the genophage, but it was nothing like that. We found Maelon, the salarian, unharmed, and he was not forced to find a cure. He had volunteered. But his research resorted to unethical experiments. We saw some of them on our way to him and Mordin was not pleased that Maelon was fine with such radical means." "But wait... the salarians created the genophage. Why did he try to find a cure?" "He felt guilty. He was part of Mordin's team when they decided to update the genophage because the krogan started to adapt to it." "I see. It must be tough on the conscience for some, being a part of this. But it's a tough question in general, what's wrong or right." "True. It was very tough for me when I dealt with it later on... But anyway, Mordin was furious that Maelon had resorted to such means, and wanted to kill him. I stopped him. He was no murderer. He saw reason and let Maelon go. The question was what to do with his research on a cure. Mordin was torn on what to do with it." "And what did he do?" "I encouraged him to keep the data. It was better to have it. Just in case." "I assume it came in handy." "Yes. No idea what would've happened if we didn't have this data later on. I try not to think about it." "I guess that's for the best." "So that ended our trip to Tuchanka. We headed back to Omega next." "To help someone else?" "Exactly." "Wow, you did that a lot, huh." "You could say that..." No deaths this time It was really close during the Varren and Klixen waves sometimes, because my team went down twice, but I managed. Grunt's Squad Incendiary Ammo was good to have there! Mordin's LM started off a bit rocky, but thanks to the Sentinel's awesome survivability, I didn't die there either

From the Journal of Ioan Shepard: - Citadel: I noticed Kaidan sitting by himself at Apollo's Cafe holding nothing in his hand. I sat down and he definitely seemed to think we were supposed to be meeting up. Must have missed an email somewhere. All I know is that by the time the meal was over we were a couple again. Kaidan holding nothing. - Joker asked me about dating EDI. It's the end of the world. Go for it. And from an entirely pragmatic point of view, that kind of attachment is the sort of thing that might make an AI loyal to organics. Did a little dancing with Jack. Noticed Joker and EDI had also made their way to the dancefloor. Talked to a batarian terrorist about his presence on the Citadel. He was dying but in a lot of pain. He mostly just wanted it all over and I helped send him on his way. Also recruited Zaeed to help out and he said he'd bring some friends along. - Tuchanka: Went to rescue a downed turian ship on Tuchanka. Looked sketchy. Then I learned the Primarch's son was leading the platoon. We fought our way through Reapers forces to him. Found a datapad suggesting Lt. Victus was at fault for the dead turians we were finding along the way. He'd made a bad call. Still, turned out there was some kind of bomb that Cerberus was planning to detonate. Had to convince Victus to convince his men that allowing the bomb to go off could damage the turian/krogan alliance, which would be bad for everyone. I agreed to help them since they were down 30 men. EMS: 1885.

Melody Shepard, Colonist/Sole Survivor/Infiltrator, ME3 Insanity: At Admiral Hackett's request, the Normandy flew to Sanctum in the Sigurd's Cradle cluster to investigate a Cerberus lab handling Reaper tech. Melody took Garrus and EDI as backup. She recovered two small Reaper artefacts from under the noses of the Cerberus guards. Unfortunately, before the squad could return to their shuttle with the second artefact, Cerberus fighters descended on it and Cortez had to shake them off, leaving the Normandy squad alone to hold their own in the lab. Fortunately, they were able to fend off the Cerberus goons until Cortez was finally able to land safely. While the Normandy returned to the Citadel, Liara met with Melody and demonstrated her time capsule project: a VI copy of their data about the Reapers and the Crucible for the benefit of the next cycle, should this cycle be lost. Liara wanted to include an entry about Melody, who left the details up to her friend. On the Citadel, Melody handed the identity tags that she found on Benning to the fallen soldier's father. Current EMS: 510. One death, lousy grenade... Here's a video of the successful second attempt. I play at a glacial pace (fitting, given that this map is Firebase Glacier in MP ), can't hit things that are moving, and monumentally screwed up the fighting before recovering the second artefact. But hey, there's CLAYMOAR, so I'm forgiven, right?

Curious question.
When Shepard talk with Javik for the first time at the Normandy, Javik asks if the commander are willing to do whatever it takes to destroy the Reapers. The implicity of the question is obvious: betraying allies, friends and destroying worlds if necessary.
In Tuchanka after saving Victus and his men, depending of your answear at the Normandy, do you mantain the character and your response to Victus when convincing him to finish the mission is based on what you had told Javik or not?

I haven't actually recruited Javik yet. Was waiting to have my LI on board first because there's Eden Prime dialogue I don't necessarily get otherwise. However, no, I don't follow Javik's way. For all the people the protheans sacrificed, even Javik will eventually acknowledge that it wasn't the best way. If I followed Javik's way, I wouldn't have an LI (probably would have shot him during the Cerberus coup), I would have killed Wrex on Virmire, I'd never have bothered with any of the ME2 loyalty missions and I'm sure EDI would have been thrown out the airlock. (People have opinions about EDI, but no one can deny that she was actually a true asset.) I guess that means that I'm not willing to do whatever it takes if those things include stabbing my allies in the back. Now, I killed 300,000 batarians but wouldn't have done so if any other option were available - something true even when I play Colonist Shepard. If I'm Paragon Shepard, my goal is to save as many people as possible (even Garrus says that's a typically human trait). I don't sacrifice worlds to save my own ass.

The splash area seems large enough that I'm not safe unless I run halfway across the map Even though Shepard is the primary target, squadmates do get caught sometimes.

From the Journal of Ioan Shepard:
- Normandy: Had a drink of Serrice Ice Brandy with Dr. Chakwas. It's a little early for our agreement to do so yearly but she wasn't so sure we'd make it that long. Understandable. Then Traynor started telling me stuff that was in my email, like Garrus and Liara wanting to meet with me. I think she needs to be told that my emails are private. I can read them on my own. In fact, I already had, so it was pointless. - Tuchanka: Time to stop that bomb on Tuchanka. On the shuttle ride down we were in contact with Lt. Victus. That's when we learned the bomb wasn't from Cerberus but from the turians, planted there centuries ago to prevent another Krogan Rebellion. That explained the turian presence and their vested interested in making sure it didn't explode. Cerberus wasn't making it easy to stop, either. The turian Ninth Platoon was getting hit hard. We got worried when Cerberus started to evacuate. That meant they had probably armed the bomb and didn't want to be there when it exploded. A look at it from a distance explained why: it was one big motherfucker. - When we got to the bombsite, Victus explained that Cerberus had placed a firewall around the controls to keep them out. He was going to have to create a bypass and needed to be defended while doing so. The last of his platoon was immediately taken out by snipers and that left myself, Kaidan and Garrus for the defense. He finally got through but that only put the bomb on a 60 second countdown. He wouldn't have enough time to stop it and said it was necessary to separate the trigger mechanism from the bomb. He was successful, but the mechanism fell into a pit, caused a minor explosion and killed him. He died a hero. Garrus said he'd be remembered for that rather than the prior failure. EMS: 2202 (with 64% Readiness Rating). - Normandy: Traynor challenged me to a chess match. I think I may have made it seem like I didn't think much of the game. I also got the sinking feeling that I was going to lose hard and that's exactly what happened. Not that it stopped me from a rematch with similar results. Good thing she's an outstanding communications officer. - Then I met with James. He'd gotten an N7 commendation dated from the day we left Earth. That's a big deal and he wanted to know if he should pursue it should he survive the war. He talked about how last time he was in command things went sideways and he got promoted. It felt wrong to him but obviously he made the right call regardless of the outcome. I told him to go for it. - Noveria: There are few places I'd never want to return. Virmire is one of them. So it Noveria. Unfortunately, Cerberus had a fighter squadron base here. I'd long suspected they were connected to Binary Helix (Saren and Benezia ran that corp) and he they were. Needed to bring down their defense grid to allow the Alliance to get in and destroy it. Some trooper hit me with his stunner. I jacked his ass across the room with a punch from my omni-blade. Took them down, took out their stupid Atlas mech and took control of the planet, turning their own defenses against them. EMS: 2343. - Gellix: Some Cerberus scientists had defected and were on the run. Traynor had intercepted some transmissions from them and we came to figure out the situation. It was just as likely a trap. Then we saw troopers engaging the scientists and knew the score. We stopped the troopers but few of those fighting them survived. Among the living was Jacob Taylor, who was injured. He'd hooked up with these scientists to protect him the best he could but was being overwhelmed. Turned out anytime a scientist progressed too far - or had solved a piece of whatever puzzle TIM was working on - that scientist disappeared. Some of them wised up, banded together and ran. To make matters worse, they had family with them, including children. Even if they had been with Cerberus I would have gotten those kids out. No way to avoid it. Found a datapad that said TIM was up to something described as beyond their worst nightmares and so proceeded to sabotage his work. I'd guess that huskification wasn't the worst of it so I wondered just how terrible this was. - Ran into Gavin Archer. Really wanted to punch this guy. I remembered how he'd tortured his own autistic brother in the name of Project Overlord and then tried to shoot me when I said he was taking him to Grissom Station, citing him as "too valuable'. The fact that David was grateful for his continued life when I'd recently seen him made me hate his brother all the more. So when he asked about David I wasn't sure how I should respond. I wanted to deny him any knowledge of David but I supposed that was just playing Archer's own game. He'd never find him, either way, so I don't him David was safe. What I did learn is that when TIM asked him to find a replacement for David he chose to destroy everything he had on Overlord. It didn't make what he had done right but did show he'd learned from his mistake and was unwilling to do to anyone else what he'd done to David. - Turns out Jacob is the one who helped Dr. Cole see TIM for what he was. What they needed now, though, was to get their satellite activated and their AA guns back online. That's the only way they could get the shuttles past Cerberus fighters. Had to go to the rooftop to do this and fought out way through Cerberus troopers to do so. Once done, we evacuated the shuttles. Once those under sixteen had made it away, we had to defend the other shuttles from incoming troops on foot. Phantoms and everything, so they were serious. Also, another Atlas mech. - I recruited Dr. Cole and her team for the Crucible project. Tried to get Jacob back on the Normandy (which Kasumi had once said would bring her as well) but he wanted to stay with his girlfriend. Understandable. Guess that meant he'd be seeing Kasumi after all. EMS: 2407. - Lessus: An asari colony that the councilor wanted me to check out. Turns out that it was a monastery where the Ardat-Yakshi lived in peace. Samara had told me there were only three, all her daughters (one, Morinth, who we had to kill), so this was a bit surprising. Commandos had been sent to investigate a distress signal but never reported back. According to Liara, they would have be prepared to kill all of them, despite the fact that they lived there peacefully. First thing we noticed was a still-warm shuttle outside, meaning someone had arrived just ahead of us. Could only be four people maximum so not likely to be more commandos. - Inside, the power had been cut, at least near the entrance. We heard something like a high-pitched screaming but couldn't imagine what that could be. Found a dead cannibal and commando, plus a datapad with the navpoint of a bomb inside the monastery's Great Hall. - Deeper in, the power was on. Then we found the owner of the shuttle: Samara. She dispatched a cannibal. She said her remaining daughters lived her but that the Reapers had already infested the place. Then we saw these monstrous, shrieking things, clearly female, with circuitry throughout. They were clearly the result of the Reaper invasion: Ardat-Yakshi made even more deadly. We caught up with Samara and what turned out to be her daughter, Falere. The other daughter, Rila, had been taken by those "banshees" into the Great Hall to be converted. Falere hoped to rescue her. It was clear that the bomb needed to be set off but if any of the Ardat-Yakshi lived I wanted to save them first. - In the Great Hall, Falere was trying to get Rila to wake up, but the other was non-responsive. Samara inferred that she might already be turning into a banshee. When she did awaken, Rila attacked her sister, though not biotically, and didn't try again when pushed away. Needed the detonator to set off the bomb but a pack of banshees interrupted the search. Turned out Rila had the detonator. She said hundreds of banshees were coming and intended to set off the bomb when they arrived. One banshee actually struck a killing blow on Rila but she triggered the detonator, killing them. - Topside, Samara decided the only way to "save" Falere, no longer in the monastery, was the kill her. But she couldn't bring herself to kill her last daughter and put the gun to her own head. I stopped her. When Falere said she would stay behind - that she could have left long ago if so desired - Samara relented. I suggest she remain behind for a while before joining the fight. I'd already lost Mordin and Thane recently. Did not want to lose another friend. I lied to the asari councilor and said no Ardat-Yakshi remained. In return, another squad of commandos who were meant to go to the monastery instead were transferred to Hackett's command. EMS: 2436.

Melody Shepard, Colonist/Sole Survivor/Infiltrator, ME3 Insanity: Samantha Traynor intercepted communications from Grissom Academy that suggested Cerberus interference. On arrival at the Academy, the Normandy found it blockaded by ships in the Illusive Man's colours. Cortez sneaked Melody, Garrus and James onboard in the shuttle while Joker distracted the patrolling fighters. Melody spoke with Kahlee Sanders, Academy director and Anderson's old flame, who explained that the students were a mixture of tech specialists and trainee biotic soldiers. They devised a plan for Melody to rescue the students while Kahlee retreated to the shuttle bay. The majority of the students were being held in Orion Hall, so the Normandy squad proceeded there, dispatching Cerberus troops as they encountered them (BLASTED GRENADE!) and reassuring the terrified students. Discarded data pads indicated that Cerberus intended to indoctrinate the strongest biotics and turn them into "Phantoms". In a typical display of disproportionate idiocy, Cerberus had an Atlas mech defending Orion Hall. Melody broke it using her CLAYMOAR, then cleared up its incompetent entourage with her rifle. The students were safe, as was their instructor, Jack, who greeted Melody with a punch for working with Cerberus (and probably for showing up still wearing their armour). The biotic students had given her new purpose; she was prepared to protect them with her life, and opined that they would better serve the war effort in a defensive role than as front-line troops. Cortez was unable to safely get the shuttle close to the Academy, so a new plan was devised to steal a Cerberus one. The most direct route to the shuttle bay was through the atrium, heavily defended by the bulk of the occupying force. Jack and her students provided biotic assistance as the Normandy squad went in guns blazing. After some fierce fighting (two or three deaths, as I expected), the team neutralized their enemies and proceeded to the shuttles, stopping along the way to decapitate a couple of troopers who were attempting to capture some tech students, including David Archer. The remainder of the Cerberus forces attempted to secure the shuttle bay. Melody "borrowed" a spare Atlas and routed them, while her squad picked off any that she missed (which was plenty because my aim is appalling) and the students again provided support. Jack, Kahlee, the students and the squad all made it safely to the shuttles; as they were flying Cerberus colours, they were able to slip away under the noses of the blockade. Against the students' objections, Melody supported Jack's recommendation that they assist the Alliance forces in defensive roles. With the genophage cure ready for deployment, the Normandy set course for the krogan DMZ. Hackett radioed with intel about Cerberus forces on Tuchanka, attempting to reactivate ancient surface-to-air cannons for reasons best known to themselves. Melody, Liara and Garrus went planetside to eliminate the invaders and secure the cannons for use against the Reapers. (One death here, after reactivating the power; took the wrong route back to the control room and got attacked by more enemies than I could kill quickly). As she removed her hardsuit, Melody paused as her eyes caught the Cerberus logo on the chestplate. After witnessing the kidnap and murder of civilians on Benning, and now the attempted kidnap of students, going into combat wearing the uniform of her former allies was sitting less and less easily. Current EMS: 587 Pics and videos behind the cut: Melody was hoping for Kahlee to spill some hot gossip. Jack: "And I have to say that you're lucky to be alive, showing up wearing that armour." Orion Hall, watch Garrus facetank an Atlas cannon shot: Atlas hijack, watch me miss close-range shots and get stuck in front of objects: N7 mission, watch me fail to shoot a lock at point-blank range, and forget to reload the CLAYMOAR: Bonus videos, some fun in the Armax Arena using old saves: Sentinel attempting to snipe toasters and missing her shots: Vanguard getting away with crazy idiocy (by all rights, that mess-up around the four-minute mark should have dropped me):

"So, remember how I told you that Samara was after her daughter?" "Yes. You said she was a criminal." "Well, yeah. She killed people with... sex." "What?!" "She - Morinth - was what's called an Ardat-Yakshi. Which meant she had the urge to mate with partners, but this act always killed them, at least in Morinth's case. It's a rare genetic condition among asari, and sadly, all of Samara's daughters had the most fatal version of this condition." "Oh god. How many daughters did she have?" "Three. Back then, two of them had chosen to live in an Ardat-Yakshi monastery, but Morinth wanted freedom." "Can't blame her for that I guess." "Yeah, just... it was really dangerous. Samara had tracked Morinth to Omega, and she had just killed a young girl there. We made a plan to draw her out, and it worked. Samara kept in the shadows while I charmed Morinth into taking me to her apartment. I was really scared something would go wrong. Morinth had the ability to control minds, to make their partners obey her every wish. She tried it on me as well. Somehow, I could resist. For some time I had been thinking that maybe this could be solved peacefully, but when Samara appeared, she and her daughter started fighting immediately. Both were strong. I had to choose who to help in the end." "You helped Samara." "Of course. Even though I felt sympathy for Morinth's condition, no way she could roam the galaxy freely." "How did Samara take it?" "What do you think? It was her daughter." "I see. How tragic. Wouldn't wish this on anyone..." "Yeah." "And... what happened next?" "We left Omega behind and investigated a strange thing Jacob had mentioned to me. A ship with his father on-board had been missing for 10 years, so of course he was presumed dead. But Jacob had received information that a distress call of the ship's beacon had been sent recently. 10 years later." "Wow, that is strange indeed." "Of course, there was an explanation for this. What had happened there was unbelievable. Jacob's father was alive, and so were many of his crew. But he had kept the ship's rations for himself, and most of the others ate toxic food which seriously affected their minds. To make it all worse, at the beginning of all this, Jacob's father had cast out almost all males of the crew and left them to themselves, while he and some other officers - all of which didn't survive, go figure - kept the female members and assigned them... even now I feel disgusted by remembering this." "That's hard to swallow. Those poor people. Could you help them?" "Yeah, fortunately we could. We found Jacob's father holed up somewhere. The men he had once cast out became hunters, and now they were out to get him. He was a coward and feared for his life. That's why he activated the beacon. To save his own skin after everything he had done to the others." "Some people are simply unbelievable. The worst. What a pig." "Jacob's father was arrested and the other survivors got treatment. I don't know what happened to all of them though. I only know it took time for them to be normal again, but at least it worked." "That's good to know. I'm glad." "After that, I felt we were prepared for our trip through the Omega-4-relay. I've done all I could for my team, to get them focused on the mission... all that was left to do was to get the IFF." "Sounds like there's a huge story ahead." "More than huge." Pics (and spoilers for Tali's romance ) Surpriiiise, Morinth! Jesse tried hard to do the 'right' thing and not let his feelings interfere with their mission... So he went to help Jacob and to get another upgrade kick some Blue Suns asses to get his mind off things... But that didn't help. And just as Jesse was having a change of heart and confess to Tali he wanted more... This feels like a question for both Tali and Jesse Aww Patiently waiting. I am positively surprised by Tali's romance currently. I thought it'd creep me out (alien romances seem weird), but so far it's ridiculously cute! Tali's VA is adorable. I left out all dialogues though that mention Tali possibly dying for what she's about to do with Shepard, because otherwise he wouldn't have done it. Metagaming at its finest Next up, Reaper IFF - where I sure won't die in the husk rush or anything Also, I will change my Warp or Stasis to Throw and take Mordin with me to strip the armor of the husks. And pray Tali's drone will keep them at bay. I'm so ready for this

From the Journal of Ioan Shepard:
- Eden Prime: Came here to investigate a prothean artifact. Never knew what could be useful in building the Crucible. Instead, it turned out to be a stasis pod with a still-living prothean inside. We had to find codes to unlock it but also prevent Cerberus from taking it. Found the code to end the stasis but didn't yet know how to open the pod. Also saw visions of the Reapers attacking, of decisions about who to sacrifice and who to send into stasis, and of clearly indoctrinated protheans coming to attack. Those indoctrinated didn't look like Collectors so that must have been long before the massive genetic rewrites to them done by the Reapers. Then found the command to open the pod. Turns out I could understand when no one else could was because of the Prothean Cipher I had received from Shiala a few years ago. Also picked up intel along the way to help the Eden Prime resistance fight back against Cerberus. - I transmitted the signal to open the pod. It was going to take some time, time which we were going to use to fend off Cerberus troops. Then we were able to open it up. The prothean inside was understandably disoriented, assuming we were enemies - at least until he and I made physical contact. Prothean technology worked the same as protheans themselves and transmitted via touch. I got a last vision of his timeline, of the people he had lost, and he got something similar about our cultures from what I knew. That allowed him to speak to us. His name was Javik and he joined us on the Normandy. - Normandy: Unfortunately, Javik was a soldier rather than a scientist and so knew nothing about the Crucible other than that it was said to have the power to destroy the Reapers. Also learned that the Prothean Empire was comprised of many different species. They had united - under force by the protheans - to insure they could stand against machine intelligences. It worked until the Reaper invasion. Javik acknowledged that the "one style" of waging war worked against the protheans. In the current cycle, a wide variety exists from different races. He said that might help us. - Citadel: Met with Garrus to go to a spot where 137 regulations said we couldn't go. Made it our personal firing range to prove who was the best shot. I could tell it was important to Garrus so I threw the game. Made him happy. - Video chat with Miranda. She's being hunted by a lot of Cerberus assassins and word is that her father is working on a major project for TIM. That meant Miranda was too dangerous to be left alive. She still didn't want my help but I'm glad she's keeping me in the loop. - Assisted an e-crimes officer in shutting down batarian codes that were being used to kill humans. It was Balak behind it, that bastard I wish I had killed when he tried to destroy Terra Nova. He blamed me for his people being indoctrinated and turning against their own kind to help the Reapers. He was also the top-ranking military general of his people. Wanted this guy dead but needed his fleets more. I convinced him to join with us against the Reapers.

You mean the dialog when Javik asks about your LI? The dialog appear only after Tessia, isn't? Legion die in the SM, but my war hearoe Shepard rewrited the Heretics and... well, anyone knows what this means. But the Legion VI surely has a point, isn't he.
