You mean the dialog when Javik asks about your LI? The dialog appear only after Tessia, isn't? After Sanctuary
Yes, Sanctuary, thank you.
Which is after Tessia...
Ok, Javik is not essencial to complete the game, this is true.
But how can people say he's a minor character?
He adds a TON of things to the setting and lore.

Melody Shepard, Colonist/Sole Survivor/Infiltrator, ME3 Insanity: Before gathering Wreav and Victus to plan the genophage cure mission, Melody took time to chat with her comrades. - She found Cortez hard at work on the shuttle, giving it 110% as always. She persuaded him to take some R&R time when they next visited the Citadel.
- James confessed to finding Jack "kinda hot". (He doesn't stand a chance...)
- Liara had been doing some digging and had learned that Wreav's weapon commissioning programmes were without precedent. Fortack must have been in his element. She and her commanding officer both feared for the future with Wreav in charge of the krogan.
- Padok and Eve were discussing krogan baby names. "Solus" was out of the question, apparently.
- Dr Chakwas was reassuring Greg Adams that he had not made a mistake when he declined to serve on the Normandy during the Collector crisis.
The war meeting was as ill-tempered as Melody expected it would be; nevertheless, a plan was made. A Reaper destroyer had taken position by the "Shroud", a tower constructed by the salarians during the krogan uplift that had purified the atmosphere, and which Padok Wiks intended to use to disperse the genophage cure. The Reaper was using the Shroud to poison the atmosphere; the plan was for turian aircraft and krogan tanks to lure it away so that Padok could safely implement the cure. He needed to use samples of the original genophage stored on-site to finish making the cure, and would need Eve to accompany him. Before deploying to the surface, Melody took a call from the salarian dalatrass who informed her that the Shroud had a failsafe to prevent it being used in this way; the cure would not work unless the failsafe were worked around, although Padok would be sure to realize the problem. If she agreed, the salarians would commit to the war effort. Melody found herself tempted by the suggestion. Melody boarded the shuttle along with Wreav, Eve, James (who had requested the assignment) and EDI. She pondered the dalatrass' suggestion. Eve realized that something was troubling the commander, but Melody brushed the suggestion aside. The shuttle came in hot; the LZ was swarming with Husks, which Melody fed to her hungry CLAYMOAR. The party boarded an armoured car for the journey to the Shroud. Again, Eve asked Melody if something was troubling her. This time, Melody couldn't even look her in the eye. Finding the road blocked, the squad was forced to take a diversion through a ruined city, the walls lined with ancient krogan art, a testament to Tuchanka's pre-industrial culture. Frequent earth tremors demonstrated that this was thresher maw territory. Reaper ground troops made their first attempt to stop the squad here, but they were easily dealt with. Rendezvousing with Wreav's unit, the krogan explained Eve's plan for dealing with the Reaper: summon Kalros, the mother of all thresher maws, to take it down. The Shroud has been built in a shrine to her; two huge maw hammers (like the one that summoned the thresher during Grunt's initiation) could be activated... if the squad could make it past the Reaper on foot. Reasoning that anything was possible for someone who had survived the Omega-4 relay, Melody agreed to the crazy plan. Despite the insignificant size of the three humanoids, the Reaper realized something was up, as it brought both its claws and its main gun to bear on the squad. As they got closer to the hammers, it dropped Brutes close by; after killing a few of them, Melody engaged her cloak and ran, activating both hammers as quickly as she could. Kalros duly obliged, emerging from the ground and destroying her prey. Tuchanka has room for only one eldritch abomination. (My only deaths in this mission were here; the beam got me once and the claws a few times). With the route to the Shroud now clear, Melody hurried there, finding Padok waiting for her, alone: Eve had not survived the final procedures required to make the cure. Furthermore, he had discovered the failsafe that would prevent the Shroud from working. With the structure unstable following the earth-shaking Kalros-Reaper fight, Padok would have no time to evacuate after working around the failsafe... so Melody persuaded him not to throw his life away for Wreav. After some soul-searching, he agreed; though the scientist in him wanted to see the natural order restored, the pragmatist realized that it was not the best course of action to take, here and now. He agreed to slip away quietly; the krogan would believe he died as the tower collapsed, and would not realize the treachery for months. Melody attended Eve's funeral, standing stony-faced as the krogan commemorated the loss of the one whom they believed had saved their people. Eve's voice haunted Melody's dreams that night, along with the voices of others who had died on her watch. Would Ashley and Mordin have supported her decision to betray a whole people? Six months ago, before parting company with Cerberus, she had vowed to the Illusive Man that should would not compromise her humanity to win the war. She had broken that vow, albeit for reasons she believed that she could justify, and had to live with the decision. Trying to take her mind off things, Melody went to speak with her colleagues. - Dr Chakwas took the opportunity to give her a checkup. Her cybernetics were fine.
- EDI was uploading data about the destroyed Repear to the turians.
- Liara remarked that she wished Eve could have seen the rebirth of her people. Melody said nothing.
- James hoped that with the krogan on-side, they could now focus on fighting the Reapers.
- Joker and Garrus were exchanging bad-taste jokes about their respective militaries. Speaking privately with Garrus, Melody almost confessed that she had sabotaged the genophage cure, but couldn't bring herself to say the words.
Melody received an email from Padok Wiks. He had fled to a colony to see out the war, helping the colonists in any way he could. Current EMS: 1110 Pics and video follow... First silence. Locked and loaded. Second silence, unable to look Eve in the eye. You said it, EDI. Betraying the krogan. "Luck" isn't very scientific, Padok. Stony-faced at the funeral. She really isn't. You did more than "consider" it, Melody. Watch as I facetank Ravager shots and fail to headshot immobile Cannibals. Watch as two Ravagers spawn right on top of me, and I forget to reload the CLAYMOAR again. (And that Swarmer at the end totally deserved it). Maw hammer run. If there's a trick to evading the Claws-O-Doom, I clearly don't know what it is. I actually have no self-deprecating remarks to make about the combat in this one; that was quite a nice little dodge at ~0m57s. Bonus video: fun in the Armax Arena with my vanguard versus Cerberus. Watch as I stand around getting shot at, miss point-blank headshots and repeatedly fail to kill the last Nemesis at the end of round 2. Stagger-locking Phantoms with the Adas is always good fun though. HD video takes forever to upload over ADSL so I hope someone does actually watch these

"The IFF we needed was inside a dead Reaper that orbited around a planet in one of the systems in the Hawking Eta cluster, and naturally, we had to board it to get it." "Wait, you're telling me you boarded... a Reaper? One of these creepy things?!" "Yes, mom. That's what we had to do. We had to be careful of course, as we quickly learned that even a dead Reaper can still indoctrinate. Cerberus was supposed to have a team there to do research, but when we boarded, we saw that everyone was gone. We learned from some vids that the Reaper had indoctrinated the team." "Oh my. You know, I kinda am glad we didn't have contact back then. I would've been so worried knowing what you did out there." "It was risky. But who else would've done it? And in the end, we succeeded. We had the IFF. What's curious though is that there was a geth on board the Reaper as well. And it helped us, and even called me by my name." "A geth? What did this thing want?" "I don't know. We took it to the Normandy because it had shut down after some husks attacked it. I wanted to activate it, see what it knew, why it knew my name. I was seconds from doing it, when I realised I was making a rash decision. I needed to slow down and think about the consequences. They could've been severe had it come online. Who knows what it would've done to EDI's systems." "Better be careful." "Yeah. I don't know what happened to it. After I turned myself in someone must've taken it. Maybe even the Alliance, to study it." "But AI are forbidden. Maybe it was Cerberus?" "Hm, who knows. From what I heard the Normandy has never been in Cerberus hands again after I got away from them." "Oh, okay." "It wouldn't surprise me though, the Illusive Man always had ways... But anyway, EDI wanted to test the integrated IFF and my whole team and I took the shuttle to take care of some things and let her work on it. But this all went really wrong. The IFF contained a virus, and it broadcasted the Normandy's location. The Collectors showed up and took the whole crew. Everyone except Joker was gone." "What?!" "Joker had unshackled EDI so she'd have full control over the ship. A dangerous thing to do, but the only way to save the Normandy." "What about the crew?" "We didn't waste any time and went after them. The Normandy and my team were as ready as can be, and we went through the Omega-4-relay. I have never seen anything like it. There were so many ships, ripped to shreds, debris everywhere. It was a rocky flight, but we made it to the Collector Base. We split up in two teams to take on the Collectors, and our teams met up in the central chamber, where our crew had been taken to. Mom, it was terrifying. The crew were all trapped inside pods. So many pods everywhere, some even with colonists that were still alive. The true horror began when we saw what they did to these people. They were liquefied, then pumped through some tubes." "Holy-- My god... how awful." "We acted quickly and freed our crew as fast as we could. They were part of Cerberus, but even they didn't deserve this. No one did. I took a small team to follow these tubes while Jacob escorted the crew back to the Normandy and the rest of my team created a diversion. Twice." "Please tell me you all made it!" "Yes, ma. We did." "Thank the heavens..." "But before we were out of the woods, Tali, Kasumi and I saw where they pumped the dissolved colonists. They had started to build a human-looking Reaper. It was still far from finished, but it was horrible to witness. That thing was what the colonists had died for..." "Oh honey... I'm so relieved all of this is over. They will never hurt anyone again. Not the Collectors, and not the Reapers." "No. They won't. Well, so after taking down this thing and blowing up the Collector Base, I finally freed myself of the Illusive Man. That felt so good." "I can imagine. How was everything afterwards?" "The Normandy seemed a lot quieter. People were shaken up, understandably. I spoke to everyone to see if they were alright." "That's a sweet thing to do." "I'm glad I did. I learned that some of these people didn't even know what Cerberus was capable of and what they had done in the past. Like... there were two engineers - Ken and Gabby - they didn't know anything about their employer. They only joined because they believed in the Reaper threat, and in me... They quit the Alliance to join Cerberus, because they were the only ones willing to go after the real threat." "I see. That's a noble goal." "Yeah. I'm glad I was able to get to know these two a little better later on. Sweet kids." "Oh, so they returned to the Normandy?" "Yes, I pardoned them once I got my Spectre status back." "That's great! So after you took down the base, what did you do then?" "There were a couple things I wanted to take care of. One of those had to do with Liara. And you'll hear everything about it after dinner." "Why not during?!" "Mom, talking like that the whole day is really exhausting. Let me have a tiny break." "Oh, right. Sorry, honey." "Please, don't worry about it." Pics from the endgame (and Tali's romance)! Soooo, of course, after not dying for quite some time now, it hit me twice during the vent section Other than that it went fine, even during the Reaper IFF mission I left LotSB and Overlord for after the SM, and I think I'll do Arrival too, but I might change my mind on a whim once I get to this

I actually have no self-deprecating remarks to make about the combat in this one; that was quite a nice little dodge at ~0m57s. The only trick I know is to watch the ground You will see the shadow where they'll come down. Ever since I do that I had less trouble with getting stomped. Generally, I think there are 4 spots where they come down, and the 2 on the right side mirror the 2 on the left side. One location is from where you start in this area, when you approach the stairs to the maw hammer. The second is directly when you leave the stairs. Though... Watching the vid, the very first stomp is something I never had, I think. Way too close to the starting area... Bug?

Who said he was a minor character? I never thought so. He was written to be part of the game but, as I understand it, removed to be made into a same day DLC. In any case, no, my Paragon Shepard is not willing to stab any allies in the back. You can rewrite and still get the option for peace. It's just more work. It's something about the number of points. As a Paragon, I'm likely to get those points.

<big snip> HD video takes forever to upload over ADSL so I hope someone does actually watch these I watched part of each one, though I admit to some fast-forwarding to get to the parts you commented on Mostly I'm amazed that you can do all that without pausing. I pause all the damn time to target powers for Shepard and squad mates, and to get a better look at the battle field. I'm too slow for real-time combat

I pause all the damn time to target powers for Shepard and squad mates, and to get a better look at the battle field. I'm too slow for real-time combat Thank you for watching my videos I play ME1 and ME2 in the manner that you describe, especially ME1 where I can only map a single power to a controller button. In ME2, I use the controller buttons for powers, though still pause a lot because I find the combat to be punishingly difficult in a way that ME3 just isn't. If I record videos during my next ME1 and ME2 playthroughs, I imagine they will be quite frustrating to watch due to the amount of pausing going on. My ME3 playstyle is heavily influenced by multiplayer, where pausing is impossible and you only get three powers. This does disadvantage me because I tend to forget about my other powers and my squadmates, and I'd probably die a lot less if I were to pause and look around I'm a bit better about remembering my squadmate powers if I'm in a biotic boom squad, as in today's video: Miriam Shepard, sentinel, Insanity, playing an ME2-flavoured theme match in the Armax Arena (though giving a Widow to a sentinel is a bit of a stretch, even if she did take sniper rifles on the Collector ship).
Collector headshots are lots of fun, such nice big targets. Cheesy stasis sniping because I can only hit things when they're standing stock-still, and sometimes not even then. Lovely piece of derpery at the end of round three when I fail to notice that I'm actually being shot at by two Scions, the second of which then proceeds to troll me around the map.
Warp ammo would have been useful in this match.

From the Journal of Ioan Shepard:
- Omega: Was looking forward to never seeing this shithole again but Aria needed my help. She's already provided my with significant mercenary forces and promised guns, eezo and ships for helping her retake Omega from Cerberus. Ousting Cerberus is always the right choice and it's hard to turn down all the resources I'll get in return. We came toward Omega on a transport but a General Oleg Petrovsky said he had defenses that would shred the type of armor that withstood Collector shots. He tried some psychobullshit to attempt tell me I was sabotaging myself by leaving Cerberus. Obviously doesn't know the fate of those who remain - turned into husks or simply indoctrinated. Why would I want that? - Crash landed with an escape pod and worked our way through to disable to station's defenses. Once done, other transports with Aria's forces could safely approach Omega. We did encounter a force field like nothing I'd ever seen before. Also saw a gang tag for the Talons, which meant there might already be active resistance on Omega. We later saw a mech - that passed through the field - throw a vorcha into it. The vorcha disintegrated. That meant it wasn't just something we couldn't bypass but had to also stay away from. - Used secret tunnels to go under the force field. Ran into an old friend of Aria's, a turian named Nyreen Kandros. We made our to Aria's secret HQ but, while Aria made plans, Nyreen ran off. Aria and I then headed out in search of the Talons to forge an alliance. Turned out Nyreen was the leader of the Talons and, with some persuasion, agreed to work with us to retake Omega. - A kick ass Hydra missile launcher took out an Atlas with one shot. Too bad that's all it could do. Fortunately, there was another one nearby. Don't know why Cerberus wasn't using these if they had them but their loss is seriously their loss. Nyreen was very concerned with the fate of the civilians on Omega but Aria not only knew better but knew her people. There were very few innocents on Omega and Aria knew how to fire them up for a street fight against Cerberus. - Learned a few things. The force field technology came from beyond the Omega-4 relay. There must have been more than the Collector Base out there. It was also used in the rampart mechs, which emanated the same energy as the field itself. There were also some creatures called adjutants that were made from found Collector tech. - Went to turn off the reactor to cut power to Afterlife - the main HQ of Petrovsky. Along the way, found the mangled bodies of Cerberus troopers. Nyreen said it had to be adjutants who had done that. Once the power came on, the adjutants came out. There were very strange. Unlike other husks we had found, I couldn't tell what race they were supposed to be a part of. In any case, adjutants can transform victims into more of themselves. no idea why we found so many dead, untransformed. We fought our way to the reactor but as we got close the attacks stopped. Nyreen predicted it was a trap and she was right. There was a force field around the reactor that kept us inside. - Aria then did the unexpected. She reached out with her biotics and tore a hole in the force field. Whatever the technology, it wasn't immune to dark energy and the asari had it in spades. It was only wide enough for me to escape but I could make my way to the controls. Aria was worn out from it and the two of them still had to defend against rampart mechs. Aria wanted me to overload the reactor but that would cut life support, killing a lot of civilians before it could be brought back online. Instead, I took the time to reroute power away from the force fields so that life support was unaffected. - Video logs showed that Cerberus were implanting humans with control chips and then transforming them into adjutants. Disgusting that they were turn innocent people into monsters. - Scouting ahead based on a hunch, Nyreen found adjutants attacking civilians in front of Afterlife. We arrived in time to see here take a group of them out with biotic grenades inside of a barrier. I'd never seen Aria truly angry but she was pissed and took up into Afterlife to confront Petrovsky. It was a trap and she was bound and unable to use her biotics. Whatever the device was it was also killing her so I had to free her before that happened. I freed her and cleaned up Cerberus forces nearby at which point Petrovsky ordered a surrender. I'm not sure what he was thinking. When it came to Cerberus, I couldn't afford to take any prisoners. Too high of a chance of indoctrination. Besides, what he did by turning humans into adjutants was unforgivable. There was a price for that. Aria let him go, in honor of Nyreen, but I wasn't so forgiving. I put a bullet in his head. - Far Rim: Headed out to the Far Rim to find out what was up with the quarians. They had gone to war with the geth and were winning - at least until the geth allied themselves with the Reapers and became too powerful to defeat. I agreed to stop whatever on the geth dreadnought was transmitting the Reaper signal so they the geth did not destroy the quarian civilian ships. Accompanying me would be the newest admiral, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy. - Geth Dreadnought: Normandy got us in undetected by sensors. As Legion had pointed out to us last time we approached a geth ship, the geth did not use windows so we wouldn't be seen on approach. I had to enter solo and then find a new route for Kaidan and Tali to follow. - When we got to the source of the Reaper signal we found Legion, hooked into a transmitting device. Legion asked me for help, suggesting it was not on the side of the Reapers. We had to disable the restraints. While looking for the controls, Legion said that the geth had sided with the Reapers only to save themselves from the quarian attack. If the quarians died, it would be through their own doing. Once free, Legion disabled the drive core, taking down all barriers and weapons, as a gesture of good will. Problem was Admiral Gerrel decided to attack and destroy the dreadnought with us still aboard. Worse, it still left the civilian fleet in danger. It was a narrow escape and did not leave me in a good mood. - Normandy: I was pissed when I came on board. Gerrel tried to tell me the mission parameters had changed while all I saw was someone who endangered the lives of his own people. Moreover, he has no idea of my own mission and how he fucked the galaxy would have been if I'd died, no clue about the alliances I was building. I punched him in the gut and threw him off my ship. To be honest, I was surprised when Xen tried to push me into handing Legion over to her. I had no qualms after punching her, too. EMS: 3812. - Tali came up to my cabin for a visit. She's afraid for her people but I told her she was well qualified to be an admiral. - Stopped by my old retirement place on Intai'sei. It was in ruins but I did find the skull of an animal I overheard some salarian saying the krogan could make use of. Maybe they could clone it or something. - Cyone: A fuel depot has gone silent. Another N7 and squad went there but was silent. They were okay when we got there but stuck. Reactor needed to be restarted and there were husks around. That meant the Reapers were trying to keep us from being able to refuel. Captain Riley's team was being overrun so I sent James after them. He wants to be an N7 so he was going to help one out. We succeeded and Hackett said they'd protect this facility. EMS: 3976. - Bryon's Lab: Met with a man who had been investigating the Reapers. Sure, we knew they were real now but he might have some information on them we could use. Before he could tell me anything his assistant shot him and said something about "the darkness cannot be breached". When C-Sec arrived, we interrogated him but he was confused, like he didn't know what was going on. Not exactly like indoctrination but he also wasn't on control of his actions. When he tried to explain about the "Leviathan of Dis", which we had assumed might be a Reaper, he spoke the words "Turn back. The darkness cannot be breached." Then his mind just shut down. He wasn't dead but wasn't capable of thought anymore. - EDI showed up and went through files. There were some video logs showing exchanges between Hackett and Bryson. Bryson and his team that were investigating the Leviathan were being shadowed by Reapers. The Leviathan had been known to have killed a Reaper but it could have been a rogue. Either way, it was not on the side of the Reapers but it also didn't want to be found. I didn't plan to give it a choice. A man named Garneau sent back a large, colorful orb that seemed to be related to the Leviathan. Using clues found around the lab combined with a galaxy map that had a limited number of systems, we narrowed our search down to one cluster. That's where we'd find Garneau and hopefully some answers.

I still paused a lot too in ME2 (and partially ME3) in my first two Insanity runs. I remember loving all the videos where people played without pausing and thinking I'll never be able to do that But it came with time and now I only pause when I want to hit an enemy with a power I haven't assigned and usually don't use often. It can definitely get messy though I finished LotSB last night "So... where were we? Liara, right. I had gotten intel about the Shadow Broker, an information trader. Cerberus had given it to me and I knew Liara was looking for him. When we met she was absolutely eager to get to him, or rather, to rescue her friend." "Her friend?" "Yeah. Liara had assumed he was dead the whole time, but the intel showed he was still alive." "So the Shadow Broker had captured him?" "Um... yeah, about that... After I had died, the Shadow Broker had gotten hold of my body, and tried to sell it to the Collectors. It was Liara and her friend, Feron, who retrieved my body from him. With Cerberus's help. And... Liara gave them my body afterwards because they had offered to fix me." "Oh wow... That's a lot to take in. So it was because of Liara that you..." "Yeah. Pretty weird story, right?" "Ha. Very much so... So this Shadow Broker had gotten to Feron because he helped Liara getting your body back..." "Exactly. And of course I wanted to help her. It was the least I could do for him. So Liara and I wanted to meet up in her apartment, but when I arrived, it had been turned into a crime scene. We met a Spectre called Vasir there, and learned that someone had tried to kill Liara." "Oh my god!" "But luckily, she had gotten away unharmed. We found out that she wanted to meet some salarian in the Dracon Trade Center. Vasir took us with her and when we arrived, a bomb took out several floors... innocents were killed... just to get Liara." "Oh... That's terrible." "The worst thing was that this person had been with us the whole time since the apartment. It was Vasir behind it all." "What?!" "She had a deal with the Shadow Broker. She received information that helped to keep the Citadel safe, and every now and then she'd do what he asked in return. This was one of the things he ordered her to do. Kill Liara." "But why?" "Because she had gotten close to him. The salarian she met had information on the Broker's location... so after we had fought Vasir, we made it to the Shadow Broker's base. You should've seen it, mom. It was a giant ship, hidden in the middle of a thunderstorm! It was pretty amazing." "That definitely sounds like it. Always an adventure with you." "Yeah, even more of an adventure because the Shadow Broker was a yahg. I had never even heard of these things." "A yahg? What the hell is it?" "Just know that it has an ugly face and a lot of teeth." "Okay, yeah, that's... nice... So you defeated this thing then?" "Yes. It was a tough fight, but we managed. Liara then took over as the new Shadow Broker. With the intel she'd get she wanted to help me where she could. I really appreciated that." "Sounds really useful. What happened to Feron?" "We got him out. I don't know if he's still alive today. I could ask Liara some time if she heard from him." "I see. Yeah, it'd be nice to know whether he made it. He's as much my hero as Liara." "Aw mom, you're the sweetest." "Shut up." "If you're not nice I won't tell you anything else today." "Damn you! I mean... of course, honey." "Haha. I knew you would bite." Pics! And a vid Sentinel is awesome. So awesome that even I rarely died in this run so far. But I got a bit too carried away at the beginning of the Broker ship interior and then paid the price But it's fun running into a bunch of people and get out of it alive, even if I don't do it that recklessly very often

I play ME1 and ME2 in the manner that you describe, especially ME1 where I can only map a single power to a controller button. I actually had to go to casual for the evil Shep boss fight. Speaking of which, is there a special controller for those of us on PC? I frequently find myself getting killed because of control issues with the key board. Also, in ME3, how do you get readiness to go above 50%? I'm near the end of my PT and have close to maxed out on forces but am still on 50%. My big accomplishment this PT (my second ME3) is getting the Quarians and Geth to make peace. I went with Kaidan over Ashley for this trilogy PT and kind of regret it. Ashley can be charming even if you're not romancing her. Kaidan not so much. (My FemShep is with Liara; I want to see how that long-term romance ends.) I have the MEHEM and extended Anderson conversation mods installed, so it should be interesting to see if they work and how they leave one feeling about the ending.

I'm near the end of my PT and have close to maxed out on forces but am still on 50%. you can increase it through Multiplayer, the iOS apps Mass Effect Infiltrator & Datapad. Datapad is the only "pure" free option... but only if you own an iOS device.

Which, iirc, replaced Datapad.

Go here: Galaxy at War. This lets you do "missions" (just point and click to send them on their way) that raise galactic readiness. Have to continue doing it because the readiness decreases over time but it doesn't take much to have an impact. You'll have to log in to the site using whatever id/password you use to you use to play the game.

Liara is so nosey I didn't know that dialogue had a third entry for a LI. My Shepards are always single, so I only ever get the upper and lower choices there. I guess there are other conversations like that too. The Sentinel's tankiness is really working for you. I was amused by the warp-off between Shepard and the Eclipse vanguard around the two-minute mark That part at the beginning of the Broker fight, where you were standing in a right-hand advantage position and the Broker was just standing there and taking it: was that a glitch? In my experience, RHA doesn't work especially well in ME2: if I'm not in hard cover, I'm likely taking damage.

I still can't imagine playing in real time; I constantly hit the space button even on normal! I actually had to go to casual for the evil Shep boss fight. Speaking of which, is there a special controller for those of us on PC? I frequently find myself getting killed because of control issues with the key board. As far as I know there are mods for Controller support for at least ME2 and ME3, but I'm not sure about ME1. You would need an XBox Controller, even though I also got my PS3 Controller to work on the PC for ME3MP, but it was way more work. Liara is so nosey I didn't know that dialogue had a third entry for a LI. My Shepards are always single, so I only ever get the upper and lower choices there. It's definitely amazing what sorts of dialogues can appear if doing many different things A big reason why I love to replay the MET. Yeah, that must've been a bug, it's not normal for him to just stand there

Just finished my second PT of ME3 with Loredana Shepard, Paragon Infiltrator, mostly on Hardcore. (I dialed down to Casual for the Clone Boss Fight.) Her Paragon score was high enough that not only did she get the Quarians and Geth to make peace, she also convinced TIM of the error of his ways and he shot himself ala Saren. Loredana's LI throughout MET was Liara (though she did mess around with Kelly Chambers in ME2 while Liara chased down the Shadow Broker. ) For this PT, I had the MEHEM and Anderson mods installed. Sadly, I don't think the Anderson mod kicked in. The MEHEM did kick in, though. Compliments to the team of modders who came up with it. By removing the original end footage with the Catalyst, the assumption is the Crucible fired automatically once emplaced? (That, of course, seems to have been Shepard's assumption in the vanilla game. The added voice acting was decent and most importantly, the sound quality of added material was decent, thus not drawing attention to what was modded. Just curious if there were any online articles about this project? Any reaction from BW? Also, loved Maluka's rendition of the ME theme song. Very talented! Other comments; I had Liara and Javic with my Shep for the Earth battles. It was rather sad to hear Javic say in a chat before the final battle that he was going to remember his fallen Prothean brothers and then kill himself. Previously, I thought he was going to collaborate with Liara on a book about the Protheans. One thing I noticed this time was that all the companions (except for Tali) never wore helmets in battle. This was especially noticeable with human companions. It's sad to think that ME1 handled this issue correctly but the latter games dropped the ball. Oh well... Hats off again to those who are able to play this game in real time on Insanity. I found the game to be a beast on Hardcore even with the pause option.

Previously, I thought he was going to collaborate with Liara on a book about the Protheans. Javik's fate is determined by what you do at certain points. There's 3 possibilities. Spoiler tag just in case 1. If you break up the fight between Liara and him, and don't let him look at his shard, then he'll write a book with Liara. 2. If you don't break up the fight, and don't let him look at his shard, he will live as a king among the hanar (at least that's the plan ). 3. If you let him look at the shard, he will kill himself. Doesn't matter in this case if you break up the fight between him and Liara.

Re: Javik What he says he will do depends on how you handle things. If you don't step in during the argument between him and Liara after Thessia, the book option is out. Second, if you have him look at the memory shard, then you will get the kill himself ending regardless of how the argument situation went. If he doesn't look at the shard and you didn't solve the argument, then he will end up king of the hanar. Edit: 'd

Good work No shame in kicking the difficulty down when you need to, I will absolutely be doing that for Marauder Shields in my current playthrough Squadmate helmets are a setting, under "Narrative" options. I don't remember what the default is, but I personally have it set to "off".

If I was javik, I would probably kill myself. I'm a stranger in a time I don't belong. My species is gone. I got my revenge by seeing the reapers destroyed. What else is there to live for?
