What did you do today in ME?

Met Grunt. After the mission, I got an email to get him out of jail. During the game, I believe after Palaven, Shepard can visit the Silversun Strip. 


How many people like the armor Kai Leng wears? I downloaded a mod to wear his armor. To wear his armor, the player has to play as male Shepard. I had to start a new game as male Shepard to make sure the mod worked. It looks good. Female Shepard will get the Spirit armor. Here's the mod for anyone interested.

This mod looks great. I might actually need to think about getting it next time I play.

And the best for last, Zaeed. He gets a new outfit, but the bonus is his dialogue when talking to him. It took me about 5 minutes to go through all his dialogue.

Out there on the warfront, I've been busy. (IRL, I beat the game again a while ago, but humour my shuttle pilot character here)

I met a turian guy named Hedan Rhonasic who prides himself in "doing with an SMG what that upstart Vakarian needs an LMG to accomplish." Can't tell if he has the stereotypical Palaven stick up his arse or if it's all in good fun - mandibles are hard to read. Safe to say that those husks would have taken the fighter base without him though, he was like a walking blender that hates faces with that Hurricane.
Some quarian woman... Ter'Nadda vas somethingorother... dropped into Vancouver of all places (hell if I know how I pulled that one off) with a shotgun the size of my torso. Following the reloading doctrine of "slap that bitch like she owes you fifty credits" and the hacking practice of "shoot yellow sparks at robots... but while invisible!" She seems to romanticise the noble titles of yore. Really should see if pre-Morning War (or even pre-spaceflight) quarians had any interesting King Arthur-style stories.
That's not the weirdest one, though. The weirdest one is when I was called to pick up a volus. Just a volus. He wasn't the sole survivor of a strike team or rag-tag militia, he was just one guy on his own who stacked up enough dead Collectors to fill a krogan family's nappies for a month. Good thing he just kept rambling on about great winds and being a biotic god - if he was a keen diplomat, Commander Shepard would be out of a job. Had a cool gun that shot lightning and lit things on fire though. And blue balls. If he'd had one more he'd be a Genophage-era krogan. So many krogan jokes... something something horrible spiky monsters and tentacle heads.

Speaking of Shepard, I heard he'd been attacked by his cloned twin or something. Did he have an actual normal name like John, and that got Commander mad enough to start a fight in a sushi restaurant? From the footage, the mercs going after them were far more dangerous than Cerberus and better equipped, but were treated like utter jokes. Suppose it worked, considering they got all worked up and sloppy. Except those guys who came out of that shuttle and utterly trashed the krogan king Urdnot Wrex. Suppose he did break their first shuttle though, so it's all even in that regard. Glad the clone failed. We can't afford to lose Shepard at all - I've seen guys take out entire battalions by themselves waiting for reinforcements all telling me how much they look up to him.

The Geth have decided to pick a fight in the Armstrong Nebula. Shepard heads there to wipe them out before it's too late....

Switched back over to ME3 for a bit tonight to do some experimentation. I've never used Marksman as a bonus power much, so I decided to try it out on two saves: one with a Soldier before going to Eden Prime, and another with an Engineer before going to Benning...I think it might be one of my favorite bonus powers now. The Scorpion with Cryo Ammo + Marksman and the Cerberus Harrier with Incendiary Ammo + Marksman are...something else. Funny since I don't like Adrenaline Rush in most scenarios, but the increased fire rate along with the sheer hilarity of some of these interactions makes it worth it. Were I doing a more serious playthrough, I would use it sparingly or try and find a way to spec it so it's more balanced.

I was attempting to do a what I call a "Bioware canon" Trilogy run, Sheploo soldier, "writer's pet" Liara as love interest. Got through ME1 just fine. Import to ME2, and the perfection that is Yvonne Strahovski...I mean Miranda...is literally staring Shepard in the face after the prologue. My teenage daughter is watching me play. And she has a bit of a Chris Hemsworth crush, (Huge Thor movie fan...she hated the last one though...). Anyway she says to me "Dad, she(Miranda) would look good paired with Chris Hemsworth." I play a bit longer and it doesn't help that Miranda is my favorite LI in the series. As I keep playing I am thinking...my daughter is right...challenge accepted. I go back to the main menu, and import an older save from ME1 where I romanced no one. When I get to character creation, I attempt making a Chris Hemsworth look alike from Thor Ragnarok(My daughter's favorite movie). My daughter helps me until she is somewhat satisfied while complaining about how we can get it close but it is still off a bit. From certain angles it looks like Chris Hemsworth and others not quite, but in the end we are both mostly happy with the result. She also wanted me to change my imported Shepard's name to Chris. Which I ended up doing with a save editor.

So Miranda and my daughter derailed my "Bioware canon" run, and I now have a Shepard, whose appearance I like better than Sheploo, romancing my favorite LI, and biotic charging enemies while looking similar to my teenage daughter's crush.

I love the Wonder Woman armor mod in the screenshot with Jacob. First time I have seen it outside of the original comic. To bad it doesn't have an actual chic bomber jacket over the red corset like in the comic.

ME1 (Original with MEUITM) - yeah, playing it, got Liara after Feros and just completed Noveria. Getting ready for Virmire which is my favourite.

Playing now might be the last time I play it for loooooong time. I think I've played enough whole ME trilogy, I already dropped 3 when I tried the multiplayer and was so disappointed with it and 2 has always been the least liked for me. Need something new!

I love ME1 but I'm not having enough fun with it anymore, so as usual after I've defeated the enemy in MW I'll be moving to its spiritual successor, Andromeda ! 2 and 3 were Shepards fever dreams and did not really happen

Saw Samara. I regret not doing this side mission earlier. She would have been at Thane's memorial. I believe she shares' her thoughts about Thane. One thing the PV mod fixed is having Samara pulling her daughter back to the elevator instead of Shepard.

I was able to take Miranda on a couple of side missions. This is from the EGM mod. There is a mod with Miranda joining Shepard on the SR2 after Horizon. She will be able to go on the Cronos mission. The same for the Noveria fighter jet side mission. Both will have dialogue from Lawson. I would have downloaded it, but I wasn't sure if it would work with PV mod. The other thing is when I found the mod I already saw her the first time on the Citadel. I'll probably download it for my next ME3 playthrough especially if I romance her.
