Hmm......I'm not sure it's a deal breaker for me, since my favourite romance in DA:I is Cass, and she has way worse hair than Cora. But it *is* an influencing factor. However, I think that is partly because it looks so much like the concept art for Miranda in ME:2. Which screams *Miranda 2.0*

Honestly though.....I'm not sure how I feel about this. Or whether I should take it as a clear indication that once again, Male and Female PC's are going to have to share hair styles. What a depressing thought! :wacko:

I don't mind shared hair styles, but they should be more defined and not slight variations of the same thing.

Also, if I play MaleRyder, I wish there's long hairstyles this time. We're not military anymore.

I doubt they even thought about having her hairstyle as a concept for Miranda before. Not to mention that between all games they did I'm pretty sure there isn't an hairstyle they didn't think as a concept for character before.
Why is Cora's hairstyle indication the hair options will be the same? For all we know her and Liam might be unique to them.

You misunderstood my point. I meant that when designing Cora they didn't think they already had that hair for a concept of Miranda (or other female characters, for all we know). Cora's original hairstyle wasn't this as well, but a ponytail. So the decision of the hairstyle is likely unrelated to Miranda or making the former similar to the latter.

Agreed. I've so far avoied watching the trailer's that the Dev's have released because I want to wait until the game is out so I can find out first hand. However, I am very interested in the CC. And would love a sneak peak, like we got for DA:I.

I agree on that, but in general the trilogy CC is the most limiting of the two IP. Hopefully MEA will have a similar one to DAI in terms of face customization...with better hair and beard options :lol:

Same. In DA:I, There were only two hair styles for females which I liked. One was a ponytail, the other was default F!Hawk, and only one hair style I liked for men. It looked a little bit like Maxon's from FO:4. The rest were crap.
I thought the beards were ok'ish. But they looked plastic.

I'm actually fully in favor of this, so long as there is a wide variety and pool of hairstyles to pick from. Sometimes I want to play guys with luscious long hair (hell, my husband's hair sometimes gets longer than mine and he's frequently complimented on how "lovely" his hair is. He puts more effort into his hair than I do. Brush, tie into a ponytail, I'm done.

), sometimes I want to play gals with shorter haircuts. Sometimes I make male characters with more traditionally "masculine" hair, sometimes I make ladies with traditionally "feminine" hair. I'm a huge, huge fan of not gender-gating the hairstyles.

That said, yes - BioWare really needs to work on its hairstyles and quality in general. I just hope however they do it, there's a lot of options between bald/short and long.

And better beards. Dear Maker, let the beards not look like $1 Cheap Costume Store disguises. :pinched:

Mine hasn't been down to my bum since I was 14, but I've always done the low ponytail thing. Nowadays I keep it somewhere between at my shoulders and maybe mid-back at most if I'm lazy about getting it cut. I have thick, oily hair so I like keeping it shorter for maintenance, but I don't like keeping it so short I can't tie it back.

I agree on that point, which is why I hope they have a wider variety. There are a few hairstyles in DAI I liked, but most were "meh" for me. There wasn't as much in the way of longer hair. I imagine that's partly due to the difficultly of making longer hair look good on an engine that's already more realistic in style. I'm really hoping I can get a longerish style for my BroRyder this time around (at the very least some sort of messy ponytail), but I won't hold my breath over it either.

Fans would likely uproar anyway if they ended up selecting the styles they'd like anyway. Besides I never said it will happen I jus tthingk it would be nice if it did.

Whoever at BioWare that is directing/guiding/ hair design if you're reading this thread(among others like it) the players have spoken on hair. They want the best and I say give them the best. Hook Jien up. Give her THE WORKS.

Things like:

Movement and Length?

Colour variant?

If it must be high and tight.

Yeah. Biotic body like hers too. Jien may be in her 40s but she looks 25 in most light and 19 in the dark.

Since I stepped on Cora's head to get this post attention give something dark blonde like this to her maybe if she can be hardened. (nsfw)
