Which gun type will you use the most in MEA?

I will probably use assault rifles. That goes double if something similar to that Prothean Beam Rifle is included in the game. Not an exact copy, mind you, but definitely some sort of beam weapon would make me very happy.

That being said, I cannot ignore the allure of a good shotgun.

Usually, assault rifles are my most-used thing. The others are really only used in niche-like situations.

My Ryder will be a soldier. Probably switch around at first. Usually settle on Assault Rifle.

Shotgun. Namely, this one.

These guns are technically superior most of the time, but I really love those slow single or double-shot shotguns. They just feel like they have more oomph. Auto-shotguns end up feeling like pop-guns to me.

Can't say, because I wasn't in a fight in ME:A yet.

In the old Mass Effect series I used shotguns and assault rifles the most (but it always depended on my playstyle, my squadmates and the foes so I switched often between everything. The Scorpion was fun to experiment with. And in Mass Effect 2 I liked the Locust).

What I wish for (just for the occasional fun - and I posted it in ye olde BSN as well): some overly destructive weapon like the Fatman in Fallout 4 (but with stuffed krogan or blasto ammunition - enkindle this!) or something small like the noisy cricket of Men in Black with the same effects.

As a biotic, nothing's more important than cooldown, so pistols.

Also, it's more badass to use the 'weakest' weapon type and still kick f'n ass.

Burst AR like the vindicator or Avenger full auto. Pretty much every gun available across multiple characters/playthroughs. Can't forget MP either.

Assault Rifle....I would prefer the Revenant, but only if it's configured to how it was in ME2...   ....that gun was a beast in that game....don't know what in the world happened to it in ME3.... .....other than that the lancer or phaeston will suffice...for SP.

Assault Rifle if I can.

Now we can build our own classes my first adept build is going to be pretty much Asari Adept with Marksman instead of Stasis for my Hurricane unless BioWare give us a new Particle Rifle in which case I'd go more for a TSent build with Warp Ammo.
