Which gun type will you use the most in MEA?

I'm melee since Vanguard's rework in ME2, but I carry AR in case I don't feel like charging and it works fine on all distances.

I would only want to pull out my weapon if it was absolutely necessary. In regards to the question, I voted for submachine guns. I favor SMG's, MP's, carbines, and on rare occasions semi-automatic rifles. Lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and a decent rate of fire.

If I had to give examples: in Battlefront, the EE-4 is my favorite blaster; in Battlefield 1, I like the MP-18; in the older Call of Duty titles, I favored the MP-40; in Brothers in Arms, the M3 Grease Gun is a rare weapon, but my favorite; the was a great SMG weapon in Mass Effect 2, but I cannot recall its name. I could list more examples, but I believe you get the idea.

Shotguns mostly unless there are exceptions where a certain weapon from the other categories manages to give that same powerful feeling like the Widow or Saber.

SMGs are my favorite guns in games, so I will try to use them the most, provided they are decent this time around.

Snipers, definitely. I'm a terrible sniper though, I literally stand in the open and let people hit me whilst I blow off their comrades heads, lol.
