I'm talking strictly about those games being removed from marketplace, making downloads impossible. Never answered that question. Never had it happen. I mean I'm not saying it couldn't, but in my experience it's not as likely as damage to or loss of a physical copy. Had that happen multiple times. Okay, I admit that's a slightly unfair comparison, 20 odd years of physical media vs 10 odd years of digital, but I know which one has been less of a pain in the arse. If you're going to buy it you have to choose your poison and digital has been by far more convenient for me.

Digital, 2 reasons: first of all, I get kinda excited when checking compulsively if the game has already downloaded or not; second, I can pretend that I'm a mature, well-organised adult who is extremely efficient at clutter control

In general I always prefer buying a physical copy of a game, I rarely buy digital. Like being able to swap my games with family/friends and just adding to my collection. It's a nice display, really.

Always physical, even with movies I buy I always buy the physical copy. It feels more like it's mine and with the future of games/movies moving towards primarily digital, I like having my own game/movie collection. Also you can share it, sell it if you don't want it anymore or give it to one of your friends. Not as much anymore these days... with all the codes and such you have to use to be able to play your game. They don't want people sharing games anymore unfortunately. =/

I'll be going with the physical edition. my monthly data cap is crap so it'd take a week to download it.

I usually get a physical copy because a) it feels like I actually own the game as opposed to having it somewhere in my Steam/Origin/Uplay/GOG/whatever game library where I promptly forget about it and ooh, shiny discs. But since the only physical or "solid" thing about it will be the case with a code inside I'm debating getting a digital copy this time. Even if the Standart Edition physical copy is cheaper wher I live, which boggles my mind

Disks, I love actually owning physical copies of all my media (games, movies, TV shows, music, comics, and novels) I don't want to be at the mercy of multi-national corporations who can disable my access to my digital media anytime they see fit or get into hissy fit with other multi-national corporations, than I already am.
Plus if I don't like a game/movie/TV show/music (or whatever) I can take it back get a refund, re-sell, donate it to charity, use the disk as a coaster, or simply throw it away. In other words I can get money and a lot more satisfaction than just hitting the delete option (which isn't as much fun as any above options are for me). I also can play my Blu-Rays on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and I can also play just DVDs on original Xbox, Xbox 360, PC, and my dad's DVD player.
Now don't get me wrong I'm not against digital download I buy many TV shows off the MS store and watch them on Xbox One and Xbox 360 but if I wanted to watch Agent Carter season 1 for example, which I bought through the MS store, I can only watch it my Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC, but if I want to watch it on my PS4 or PS3 then I'm going to have buy it through the PS store or buy the series on Blu-Ray or DVD.
I buy movies and TV shows off the MS store all the time but generally speaking they're either films I haven't seen before that are so I can see them before I buy I them on disk or their or their films that have proven to be a pain in ass for me to find and to buy on Blu-Ray and/or DVD and TV shows like the current seasons of Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The Arrow, The Flash, and Dr. Who that I don't want wait a year for they become available on Blu-Ray/DVD, Netflix, Amazon Video, or other streaming services.
I also plan to buy any game that has a disk even if I own digital copy like Tomb Raider: The Definition Edition on Xbox One and Transformers: Devastation on PS4, because I don't trust MS and Sony not screw me out of my free games if I forget to renew Xbox Live Gold and Playstation Plus accounts on time.
If that is too rambling or if you think it's TL;DR: Physical media gives me a sense of the media being my property while digital media does not.

I bought it during the 30% off sale, though i don't know what happened with that order. Is it legit or not? Who knows. I am going to pick up a physical copy aswell, gotta have on the shelf next to all the other Bioware games.

I'm old and set in my ways. I'll be buying the disk. I'm old and have learned by experience. I've bought digital. Incidentally, for console users, particularly in a multi-gamer household, how often does the disk end up back in the box, or does it get that upside-down flip on top of something, or gets lost, hmmm?

Recently I re-installed ME2 from my physical collector edition disk... holy cow what a treat that package was. That premium box, neat art book and the way everything is packaged inside, the Cerberus passcode card...
They don't make them like that anymore. That's why I go digital.
But even though I'm a huge ME fan, I have yet to buy it. I want the feedback from the multi-player beta to see what people think of the gameplay. And I want more real gameplay footage from the single player campaign, because what we've seen so far was clearly very buggy or lacking in several department.

Digitally. If I get accepted into the MP beta, and I like the gameplay enough, I'll want to be playing more of the game as soon as it becomes available. Plus my circadian rhythm is pretty much a complete 180 from how it should be, so I'll be wide awake at midnight.

CD jewel cases for me. π At least I can keep my games for life barring the event I'm incompetent enough to damage my disks. You're at the mercy of a corporation with digital.

I would have gone physical but since I wanted the Deluxe goodies that wasn't an option. They only do digital for the Deluxe (at least for Xbox).
