Buy the game digitally or physical?

Having said that, it's not a huge deal.

I'm considering getting the Collector's edition Nomad and gifting the standard edition game that comes with it to a friend. I can then put the download code in the steel case that comes with the Collector edition and it will be physical

Really stupid that they aren't bundling the Collector's edition with a Deluxe version of the game but, hey ho.

Agreed I'd have preferred a physical copy as well to put it with my copies of the trilogy but it's not that big of a deal.

What I did for DA:I is buy the Deluxe Edition on disk from Gamestop and then just used the code on origin to download it digitally. I like to have a copy if s*** hits the fan.

Is this even an option for ME:A? I was seeing some comments saying it wasn't? I'm on PC.

I have no choice but to buy it digitally. I want the deluxe edition and I will be playing it on PC instead of Xbox One.

I don't know if Deluxe Edition is worth of it's price. I'm my country it's quite big difference between standard version and deluxe. 
I think I'm going to buy standard.

1. The clutter reason is a big one. I like to reformat my hard drive once in a great while so being able to redownload something is better than ransacking my boxes wondering where I left this or that. I just threw out all of my Mass Effect DVDs after making sure I entered the code online so Origin would acknowledge my copies. I don't know if I'd ever play them again, but it's nice that the option is there online and the CDs are not taking up space in my drawer anymore. We get our comics digitally now. We had so many boxes of comics in the garage, it wasn't funny. We saved the ones with sentimental value and donated 95% to libraries, hospitals or friends who wanted 'em.

2. I like the pre-download, knowing the game is ready to go when it launches. I know Amazon and other places deliver on release day, but in the past, until the game arrived, I'd be looking out the window just waaaaaiting for Fex-Ex or UPS to pull up. With the pre-download, I am just calm, knowing that it's already in my hands. 

I really want the box for ME:A - disappointed I cant get a 'deluxe' edition for PC with a box. So, getting digital. Really want an ME:A for my ME area on my shelf though...

it wouldnt matter at least for me anyways because at the end of the day MEA still requires origin to play. a program which i detest.

still doesnt make up the fact that EA has questionable business practices which i am very wary of

I'm buying it digitally on Origin first. Once the GOTY Edition comes out at $30, I'll buy the disk for the Xbox One.

I'm going to pre-order a physical PC copy and pray that they do a digital deluxe upgrade like they did for ME3 and DA:I. I like to have "complete" collections- so since I have the previous games in physical form I need to have Andromeda in physical form too.
