I have similar concerns about 30-60 minutes to drive "around" a world because that's just straight line driving and we'll likely be "forced" to explore every nook and cranny resulting in spending many hours driving about one planet. This is probably one of the bigger reasons people are thinking space-Inquisition. Also, given how unrealistic a ~100km world is my guess is we'll be limited to a single zone on the planet (like ME1) and this is how they justify only one biome per world. Of course the real question people are going to raise is if the Tempest can land on the planet shouldn't we be able to land it near those many question marks that are sure to dot our maps. But it'll be "you can't...something something reasons."
I'm just going to call it now. If there is a sequel in Andromeda the Nomad gets dropped for deploying in a shuttle...which makes a hell of a lot more sense anyways.

As long as my Ryder can listen to some Ozzy, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, etc, while driving, I won't mind Sammy Hagar - I Can't Drive 55 Little Boots - No Brakes (hello APB) Actually that's a good point, if there are long driving sessions there better be radio stations with good selection, titles like GTA, APB and Saints Row have really spoiled me for driving with good music. Ehh, who am I kidding, it's Bioware, not happening, sigh.

I guess it would be too much for the composer to have a couple dozen originals, but it would be a hell of a nice detail. In lieu of that being able to have the Nomad's mp3 player access a folder on our desktop filled with our preferred driving tunes. Might make the tedium of driving everywhere a bit less annoying.

I fear the return of DAI banter bug - so much space, so much silence.

It was patched. Banter happens on regular basis now in DAI. I am actually replaying the ME trilogy again. I did enjoy the Mako runs in ME1. That being said, it was still rather annoying having to leave your vehicle to mine and get artifacts etc. I am hoping that for MEA either the Nomad drops or shuttle drops will make sense depending on the scenario. If you are trying to find resources and establish base camps then the Nomad would be a better option. However, if you need to go into an already populated area a shuttle drop might be better. I just want the mode of transportation to fit the scenario.

After five playthroughs I still have not gotten a Dorian/ Bull romance or the chess game between Bull/ Solas.

Yeah, there was a patch, but it didn't work for me and in DAI I usually get 5-6 banters for an obscene amount of time. It's just disheartening, to say the least. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed for ME:A.

I may be late to this, but what are your thoughts to this? Taking 30 to 60 minutes to drive across planets to me is a good sign that these planets will be massive. And a good sign they'll be mostly empty. "Wide as an ocean, shallow as a puddle" comes to mind. Recent open-world games have done a decent job of populating their worlds with interesting content, but the conventional wisdom holds. The bigger your environment, the less dense it is. New tools can help a lot with that, and so can a large dev team. But personally I'd prefer they focus on depth of content, rather than breadth.

I fear the return of DAI banter bug - so much space, so much silence. You mean the banter bug that thousands reported and Bioware said it didn't exist? That banter bug? I didn't even know the game had banter except for a couple scripted instances where it occurs every time. I didn't even know there was music except when entering Val Royeaux the first time and when discovering Skyhold. Had to see video proof that it actually existed. As far as it getting patched, I guess I must not have that patch because there still isn't any for me or a couple friends of mine who play on PC. Last I saw they said, they couldn't reproduce it which is the same as saying it doesn't exist.

New tools can help a lot with that, and so can a large dev team. But personally I'd prefer they focus on depth of content, rather than breadth. Since it's all just pixels... having "large" worlds is really just a time sink... on the same vein as having us have to elevator between different decks of the ship and to different rooms spaced relatively far apart to go around and talk to each squad mate. In ME1, there wasn't even any ongoing banter to help fill in the "loop" we had to make. It improved in ME2 by letting us overhear some conversations, and a little further in ME3 with the squad moving about occasionally... but was still a somewhat obvious "time eater." The number of steps and doors between each squad mate's "place" on the ship could have easily been reduced without changing anything else about the game. Hopefully, their idea of "tweaking" it will cause them to lean well towards the shorter end of that timeframe... and my preference would be even shorter still... 15 to 20 minutes of straight driving time... max.

If you're going to have an open world then you should have some empty space. Its silly to just have everything compressed into a little square.
But 30-60 minutes sounds too long unless its including delays for fighting or whatever, or there's some method of fast travel like using the Tempest.

30-60 minutes to drive across a planet? I just hope we don't have to drive BACK. I don't care how much you need those space bear hides! I'll go out and kill them and you can just pick them up your own self! PeeBee! We are not going back so you can use the bathroom! I told you to go before we left!

If some of the planets end up taking that long to drive across, the game should be renamed to Mass Effect: The Hinterlands.

Until I tried the Cheat engine banter trigger I had no idea there is so much banter in DAI. And I mean its TONS. Such a shame its glitched and many people never heard it. There is sometimes more character development in the banter compared to the regular chats you do in Haven or Skyhold. It was hilarious to hear Cole describe the intimate details between Bull and the Inquisitor and actually getting a dialogue wheel to make and opinion, etc.
I hope MEA has at least as much party banter as DAI. And less glitches.

I have not been able to find that particular one elsewhere.

I have the CE and the V45 table that is located lower on that page. According to some pictures I saw, you should be able to tick the banter on or off and that option is not there in the file I downloaded from that page. I Need the one that mentioned on this page link That is the one I can't find.
