Loot their effing shackles and dismantle them in case you decide you want Witcher armor later. Too bad there aren't bonus points for irony.

Very punny So, I had hoped o have more of a conversation with the King about Phillipa. I'm concerned that maybe all the surgical equipment and mess was to help Ciri... Then the Wild Hunt found them. So, I don't want to give the King the crystal because I don't want him to find her. Sigh. Guess I'll lie to the King and see how he likes that...

Well. Bummer. I didn't learn anything that makes me want to kill the King.
Both Kings hate Sorceresses and aren't fond of witchers. I don't know which is more pro Eternal Fire, but I do know Radovid closed the Oxenfurt University. But still not enough tipped Against him to kill him.
So, I'll do a couple more side quests and then off to Skellige

In other news, I helped a lady reclaim her childhood home. While trying to find my payment, I found er dead brother instead. Never did find my payment and chalked it up to a good deed. Then I did The Volunteer. That was absurd and dark at the same time. Geralt has good painting skills. Sorely tempted to get that boat to Skellige at this point.

Perfect world, we'd somehow maneuver a better king on the throne and establish a Northern Kingdom strong enough to keep Emhyr off of it. A stalemate, if it were, with an eventual trade alliance. Don't think this is Dragon Age.

You give me a new perspective on the game and its setting. You're a big DA fan, so you come from (and really like) a setting where, despite lurking dangers and disasters, good deeds usually lead to good outcomes, and in the end, the world is made a bit safer and better through the hero's efforts. I, on the other hand, grew up with tales of doom and gloom all around me, whether it was my grandma reading me the Brothers Grimm's tales or my grand dad and grand uncles with their memories of the eastern front. I then played and gamesmastered Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay for many years, a setting that is a few shades darker than the Witcher's. And so, I told you to do "The Volunteer" because I thought it was funny while you found it dark and absurd. And I can definitely see why. It makes me think about my general attitude, and that's a good thing. Feel free to take the ride to Skellige at any time - you can return to Velen whenever you feel like it. Skellige will give you a different landscape and people, a lovely soundtrack and a healthy dose of Yennefer, so if that sounds appealing, go for it!

Skellige will give you a different landscape and people, a lovely soundtrack and a healthy dose of Yennefer, so if that sounds appealing, go for it! Ooooooo. The troll's mind is simplistic and childish. He absolutely meant well when he tried to stop the fighting. He accidentally kills them all, but doesn't get that they're dead...But gets hungry and eats them so their deadness, or maybe not? Finally sank in. Then he's such a Redanian Patriot he begs you to paint a symbol. Even though he's a non human that can't possibly grasp politics. It's dark, to me, but wrapped up in the absurd in the form of a child-not-child perspectve. I've found the Witcher to be exhausting, for the most part. I'm given a lot of choice in a massive world, even if none of the choices have to do with who my protagonist is.

I did the sword dumplings quest and was truly amused by the two brothers. I mind controlled the one brother to pay up. Then when we went to break into the warehouse, the dwarf seemed to act like we were friends. Due to. Yerpen??? Anyway, since we were friends, I didn't want to mind control him. I bribed him to look the other way. In the end though, the warehouse owner came by, and the two brothers that had been beating each other web I first saw them claimed to love each other! we beat van Horn up. .. and I think Sakrus is going to do something to him. And the Swordsmithing monopoly is no more.
The sword I got was a tad better than what I had. And the recipes I have aren't better that what I'm now equipped with.
Off to Skellige after a quick visit of the Cabaret

Sigh. That was a short touching base with the companions.
Also, the place is full of witch hunters. Dandelion should have better taste in clientele.
All in all, Novigrad is full of witch hunters and the streets are full of shrieking Eternal fire Priests
And we sailed out at sunset. Pretty! First time I've see. Geralt sleep outside of the dreamer Corrine.

My point, smilesja ,is that I like NEITHER king.
Lololol THAT'S the stuffed Unicorn? They were being literal???! Hahahahahaha Great. All the free finery is Skellige. I don't like the Black but I wore Blue with Triss. So, Black it is. Keeping my messy hair and beard. I think I'll have him spruce him either right before sexy time or after to represent his old life renewed. I kinda like the head cannon that I was with Triss the first two games. It was a lovely chapter of our immortal lives kinda thing. I'm liking the vibe with Yennifer. She's very reserved.

*Watches in horror as young girl burns to death with husband* D: Op before I forget. The Jacques of A left me a letter. If I recall, that's the little source boy from Game 1 right? I think it's her father, actually. I seem to remember she volunteered because the wife wouldn't do so. Byrna's a [nasty word I will refrain from using] but I'm with her on this one. Just wait until you notice the "captives" in Kaer Trolde to be truly horrified at Skellige's culture. Geralt has some strange friends. And yes indeed. That's strange. I remember a compliment.
