DA Fan gives TW3 a shot: Text Based Let's Play

Tbh outside of the very early game the only things really worth looting are the schematics for the Witcher armor sets and weapons + alchemy/crafting ingredients & stuff to break down into alchemy/crafting ingredients.

Because I killed the Baron's men, I had to kill my way up to the gate. Oddly, they didn't shoot at me with arrows as they should have.

So then I had to infiltrate. Which was fun!

And then the Baron's was like,"you killed a bunch of my men! I like you ya cocky Bastard."

Knew he'd get over it.

How did I miss this thread?   I am ready for you to try the DLC. Love those! 

Sensua? That sounds dirty. 

Maybe set it aside until you are ready for weightier stuff. It seems RL has dropped enough on your plate for now. And I'm sorry again.

I think you would find HoS and B&W to be a fun distraction.

You mean she is still too slow if you hit the key that makes her go faster? I know you use a controller for me it was the shift key. I think, I switch games so much it could be a different game.
Yes, Hero of snogging is my most favorite game... EVER! Now someone just needs to make it.

as I turn on the game for the first time in a long while, I go ahead and watch the intro again. Now that I'm up on the lore, it's interesting to realize this narration is from the standpoint of a layman who is obviously anti magic and anti witcher.

Wonder what I'll get up to? I think I'm giving up on these question marks for one, they have been disappointing.

HAving figured out the search button (L2) I go into Mama Baron's room.

"A candlestick. the Stem is broken," Says Geralt.

I lean in and toggle the camera about... I am pretty certain that candlestick isn't broken.

I am so amused... I guess I didn't notice the first game that this gigantic armoire has a tiny broken piece of candlestick in it and nothing else. Like... why.

That was short. Got distracted by house things. Next I play, I'll be off to see the pellar. But I'm keen to check up on Kiera and see if I'm as fond of her as I remember of if it was just her sudden murder that elevated my esteem.

Oh my, I'd forgotten the cut scenes that recognize you came riding in on a horse.

Interesting. Geralt goes from no memory to recovering his memory. But we don't see the same things he sees or recovered. He says, "Ad they've got a navigator with them." as the Wild Hunt Teleports willy nilly in this cave. SO am I to believe he remembers all of his time with the Wild Hunt, at this point, that he recalls the terms they used for themselves?

It's too bad I had to delay this replay. TW2 had me so up to date on who was who. Like I'm trying to recall if we even had much to do with Kiera outside of the very start of TW2.
