DA Fan gives TW3 a shot: Text Based Let's Play

Going after some Griffon Gear. Guess it's good I got some experience with that forktail, now I'm fighting a wyvern for schematics. Hopefully at the end of this, I'll have some good gear until I go to Skellige.

The wyvern was a very dumb animal. It trapped itself on the stairs trying to get Geralt. Easy pickings.

Ran into a Basilisk. After Arrding it, I had this urge to pull out the ropecaster and-- oops. Wrong Game. This isn't HZD

I often found that even if I didn't have exactly what I needed, I could craft or deconstruct something else in my inventory to get it. Usually costs a lot less than buying what you need from a vendor.

I'm only 9.5 levels in and this Griffon Armor is gated at 11 Whatever game.

Oh geez. I'd forgotten he was going to cut his ear off.

Killed that Tree Beastie this time. Course I was overleveled for it so it was very easy.

ugh, yep the crones are gross. And they ate the four kids. *sigh* Darkness either way.

Oh other clue, the burning hand. That one was more obvious...and Geralt picks up on her being Anna.

Played the Baron a game of Gwent. Didn't fail miserably, but I know I don't have the right kind of cards to beat the man. Off to save Anna, and put the effed up couple together again. No Suicide of the Baron this time

Although, still feel dirty for not backstabbing those crones. They'll get theirs. That batch o' kids will be there last.

I made my coin selling loot from dead enemies. Though that may not work out so well at lower levels, don't remember. Its been a while. 

Contracts and quests in general. Though aren't you playing on PC? If so, there are some mighty useful mods to alter the carry limit 

Both outright blatant cheats to raise it into effectively infinity, or mild increases to just give you more wiggle room as you obsessively steal and loot everything you come across. I actually keep several armor sets on me when I've played since my original playthrough to switch between based on what I'm feeling like using at the moment. Both the Witcher sets and stuff like the DLC Temerian & Nilfgaardian sets that I usually mod to improve based on your current level. Although those sets get eventually super OP as you gain levels.
