I don't remember any mangled genitals? *reinstalls Oblivion, rubs hands together* Well they had to be mangled so we didn't see anything. Ugh that scene still gets to me. Holy. Fucking. Shit. I remember that now, I must have blocked it out or something....grim AF! And it all started with that abandoned house, DB are indeed a dark faction.

Hmm, I don't really need super explicit sex scenes, but I don't mind 'em either. My only concern is that, if they get too ambitious, the animations might not end up to scratch for what they're going for. It'll probably be good for some of the sex scenes, but I don't have a ton of faith in every sex scene getting lovingly crafted animation, since they're going to be stretching their resources here. And, well, let's be honest: sex scenes are the kinds of scenes that are really easy to fuck up. Given that we've had a cinematic trailer that featured lips touching during a kiss (as opposed to the usual camera behind the head) I think it's fair to say they've been working hard on animating some pretty good banging.

So the way the description is worded there might be nudity outside the romances? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Uncertain: I think Aaryn (or another from Bioware) told on Twitter that it will not be possible to encounter 'nudity' scene outside romances. He answered this to a person worried by random nudity in the game.

"This is an action role-playing game in which players lead humanity to a new home across the galaxy. As players explore various planets, they use futuristic weapons (e.g., laser rifles, Cryo-beams, shotguns) and special abilities (e.g., concussive blasts, telekinetic pushes) to combat hostile alien races. Battles are frenetic, highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and screams of pain; enemies sometimes emit splashes of blood when hit. During the course of the game, the central character can develop relationships with crew members and engage in brief sexual encounters with them. These brief sequences (couplings) depict sensual caresses, sexual moaning, and hip gyrations; characters' breasts and/or buttocks are sometimes exposed for prolonged periods. The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” can be heard in the dialogue." Rating Category: M Content Descriptors: Blood, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Violence www.esrb.org/ratings/Synopsis.aspx?Certificate=34833&Title=Mass+Effect%u2122%3a+AndromedaIt definitely sounds like the romance scenes have been upgraded to "The Witcher 3" level, for lack of a better term.

Yeah that happened to me on my first playthrough, then I figured out that I almost had the absolute worst ending and felt bad for Geralt so I replayed it again. I picked Yennefer though because if you read the books she's really the more sensible romance choice, in my opinion of course

I've never read the novels since they still haven't officially been translated into English as far as I'm aware. My first exposure to The Witcher franchise was TW1. Triss was always the central love interest (even though Geralt was technically with Yennefer), so I grew attached to her. Either way. It sounds like we are in for quite a ride with romances in this game. I found the romance in DAI to be really disappointing and more cringe-worthy than anything else. Especially the Cassandra romance, I have no idea where BioWare was going with that.

Oh they have with the last one of the series being on preorder right now, you can check them out on Google Play if you want. And yes if you started with the games I can definitely see why you chose Triss considering Yennefer didn't even appear till the 3rd one lol Anyway yes on topic. I'm definitely romancing Peebee, not sure on anyone else at the moment..

Definitely. I just grew attached to Triss (wasn't a fan of Shani in TW1) so it didn't feel right turning my back on her in TW3. I just justified it due to Geralt's amnesia and his new bond forged with Triss over the course of the three games. My first romance will be Cora. I've also got my eye on Suvi, but she may be a lesbian romance only. We'll have to wait and see, but I'm really looking forward to see how many romance options this game provides us.
