Who is your favorite squadmate in the ME series?

Tough choice - went for Tali in the end, because she was rarely out of my squad throughout all 3 games, and I enjoyed the friendship between her and Shepard, but Liara, Garrus, Wrex, Mordin, Grunt, Jack, Miranda... all strong candidates for me.

Garrus, he was my first alien space boyfriend. The way Brandon (VA) delivered his lines, especially the funny ones, won me over. I liked Tali and Liara as well, though.

Toss up between Javik and Wrex for banter.

But if we're talking about gameplay, I enjoyed the constant biotic explosions that I had in ME3 using Liara and Kaidan together with my adept (two singularities, overload, warp, warp, reave, repeat).

Because Garrus is twice as awesome as Kaidan   Teeheehee

Oh, gotcha. I've only had him for one PT (and Ashley for one), and while I like him just fine, I don't quite understand the obsession either. To each their own, I guess

It sort of works both ways.  Liara and Kaidan rank high here but also rank high among the least favorites.

Garrus. The ultimate bro.

I voted for Garrus because to me, he was everything you want in a best friend. He had his own moral compass, but over time, he may say something, but he had your back. 

Also, you can't just say pick one OP. That's so unfair, so I am responding with my own answer:

I was emotionally attached to Garrus (as pointed above), Wrex (because of the impact of hopelessness by the genophage and that I will fix this somehow. It's important.), Tali (My naive little sister who has been a refugee for what amounts to be her whole life and struggling to keep her race alive in the vacuum of space), Liara (my blue-tentacled angel who I became extremely proud of for daring to become the Shadow Broker and staying optimistic to the bitter end), Thane (The guy that can kick ass and make it look like he's just dancing to some tune whose son was almost lost because of parental oversight), Jack (freaky tatted chick who was dealt so many bad cards and somebody needs to step in and care. It's that important to me.) and Legion (new life. Artificial or not, Legion has a soul in my mind. I don't care if it's real or not, but damn it if I'm not going to help the Geth unshackle themselves from the Reapers.)

As for romantic options: I'm too stubborn to deviate even through several playthroughs. It was 75% Ashley and no Miranda romances or Ashley and Miranda... chicka-bow-wow. I didn't get freaky with Jack (too young for me) or alien booty.
