Who will you play as, Scott or Sara?

Im going to play default Scott first. I look a lot like the default Scott so I'm not going to bother creating a custom one to look like myself when the default is probably closer to my appearance than I could make myself. I'll probably make a few other Scotts with varying appearances for other playthroughs.

I played male Shep exclusively in the original trilogy, so I'll probably do the same in MEA.

Definitely going to play as customized Sarah Ryder. I only play as male if there's a good m/m romance option available. Same went with ME3.

How so?

Custom male first for me (the ginger hero), then default female, then finally default male.

BroRyder for my first play through, as that's generally my "immersion" play through. First time through, I make the choices and dialogue options that I, myself, would make, before I know the consequences. After I know the consequences, it's too hard to not meta-game. I'll try out the CC, but if I can't make a Ryder that looks as good as the default, I'll just run default. Regardless, he'll be named Scott, for the extra dialogue.

I won't get to SisRyder until my 2nd or 3rd play through.

Fem-shep fans want fem-shep to be canon, that's why they try to force her down our throats.

I want to buff scott up a bit more, maybe change his name to something thats not so american sounding.

Femshep is still canon though.

I'll play both eventually, but will go with Sara for first run, since I almost always play female first when I can. And custom...because the character creator is part of the fun. But I will keep the default name. I'm glad Bioware finally decided to implement a default first name!

Custom Sara for sure. Fem Shep was the one character in gaming that I really identified with before any other. So will continue with Sara and look forward to seeing a younger version of the hero protagonist as a woman.
