Who will you play as, Scott or Sara?

I played the OT first through as a custom male and I'm pretty sure that's it'll do here as well. And then, if I like the game enough, I'll try out a preset Sara, partly just to see the firt name thing.

I plan on playing both as I did in the Shepard trilogy as I would always alternate between male and female Shepards from trilogy playthrough to trilogy playthrough.  I plan on doing the same with the Ryders.  Only difference is my first Shepard was male so this time around my first Ryder will be Sarah.

Hopefully the character editor is on point. This will be the first time I will use the editor to change the main character....Male Shep (never played Femshep) was a decently designed character that i never felt the need to alter.....Ryder's design is ok, but he's a bit bland...

Custom Sara, all the way. Been planning out how I want her to look and everything. WAS going to rename her...but nah, first play through, custom face, keep the name.

Both. Going to play Default Sara first, since I don't mind her looks. But for Scott there is no way past the Character Creator. Which should not be a challange.

I'm unsure. Usually I go for males in RPGs. Sometimes it's for aesthetic reasons if the game for example has retarded female armor/animation but mostly because I roleplay males better. I guess I sneakily project more of myself to female characters which at times causes their characterization to be all over the place. The characters I have created and who I have grown most attached to have almost always been males.

In Mass Effect, however, female Shepard was immediately my first choice. I was tired of your typical "space marines" and the male version presented itself as too mainstream for my tastes.
However, with Andromeda... whereas femShepard clicked immediately, for some reason Sarah isn't doing it for me. Maybe it's the voice acting? I dunno.

Currently I'm leaning towards Scott (definitely gonna customize him) though it may change. Romance options might affect my choice since I like to go for "forbidden love" tropes, unconventional relationships which could make for a rich story and offer some nice tension. If the male protagonist's options are once again just human ladies / human looking aliens, then fuck it. But if Scott can go and boing a Salarian or something then I'm game 

Default Sara's facial animations aren't great - hopefully making a custom one will help out with any problems.
I defo plan to play as femRyder. Always do in my first runs of Bioware games.

I never use the default if there's a CC, it's too much fun making your own version. My first will be a custom Sara but I might play a custom Scott after that because I really like Scott's voice unlike male!Shepard.
