Well there's also 1 source saying Vetra changes subject swiftly when SisRyder flirts with her but the same source says Liam is taken aback by SisRyder's flirts so I say it's rather premature/incomplete interpretation lol

If there's no male alien romance (not just a fling, but a full-fledged romance) for the male Ryder I don't think I'm going to buy the game to be honest. I know it's a silly reason but eh, I'm not that interested in ME to begin with. If I can't have a sword battle with my alien bro and then adopt a lot of spaceferrets and live happily ever after with him then what good is this franchise for?! (jk jk, I'm sure it's great please don't pm me about how I'm wrong and shallow or whatever). Oh wow chill out,you'll get your m/m romance. Not like ME2 and ME3 can qualify as space exploration game under any criteria anyway lol, so it's 1/3 space exploration series thus far, 2/3 is dudebroshooting + dating sim

There's something strange I've noticed. In daveliam's leak you can read about PeeBee's sex scenes with both Ryders, while gaycaravaggio (person who's responsible for Jaal hetero leak) claims that PeeBee is gay. Both users got their information from their friends who works at BioWare. Either one of them is wrong or I have messed up something and didn't remember some leak correctly. Or perhaps BW changes their stuff a lot. Like Cullen who was supposed to be bi, but "bi didn't make sense for him™". Maybe we still got a chance for bi Jaal? Tom Taylorson's tweets made me pessimistic, though... but I don't think that voice actors are reliable source. They don't know everything- lots of their dialogues got cut. Remember that Cullen got some unused m/m romance dialogue recorded? Same with Kaidan in ME1 I think. IMO he has no idea about m/m squadmate. I never said Peebee was gay. I even had multiple posts where I doubted that Dr Lexi would be a lesbian because I believe Bioware would never make a romanceable asari a lesbian.  |

Anyhow, if there really are no bi/gay male squadmates like my friend said, then I doubt that Vetra is straight. Even when not taking into account my friend's saying Vetra is bi, Sheryl Chee has a history of writing romances that are for women to some extent: Blackwall, Isabela, Leliana. And all of them preferred women to some extent. Furthermore, Sheryl Chee's writing style does not at all match your "theory" especially since none of her characters ever fit that sexist stereotype, with characters like Oghren being written to be mocked rather than applauded. Furthermore, if Jaal and Cora and Liam and Vetra are all straight, then that would leave Peebee the only bi squadmate, which even I find unlikely. More unlikely than them excluding bi/gay men in the squad. |
