just finished my 1st MEA run tonight. I generally dislike the forced on and unbearable Asari characters (Liara, Aria, Peebe) very much. Dr. Lexi however is an exception to my surprise. I know what you mean (not that I minded Liara that much), most Asari come across as rather irritating brats. Lexi is definitely an exception and I got the opposite feeling from her that the characters seemed to - their opinion seemed to be that she viewed them as just something to study, but she seemed to care about people more than most asari (and let it get to her more than most).

In the Suvi thread, BansheeOwnage brought up an interesting idea where if the next game continues with Ryder as the protagonist, some of our crewmembers become squadmates so I was wondering what everyone thought in regards of if Lexi became a squadmate, what would she be like? What kind of armor would she have equipped and what would it look like? What kind of weapon would she use? What kind of abilities would she have? etc.

me neither, but I hope she's involved in the next DLC or MEA2 in some way.
I like her character including the VA voice. + I want to see more cute Lexi/Drack talks.

Don't really see Lexi as a combatant...... She can break bones just as well as she can mend them And, I see Lexi as adept... with the initiative armor, like Harry at the beginning.

Went for the Lexi flirt for the first time last night. Very sweet. Didn't feel like a complete shutdown of possibility if the game carries on for sequel/trilogy route.

They could definitely pull a Samara here. Not sure how I'd feel about it, I like that some characters are off limits and actually reject your flirts, but she's a great character I'd like to, er, know better. Descisions, decisions.

If Lexi was a squadmate, I could see her as a support class geared towards improving health and shield regen. She would definitely have Shield Boost as a given, but can't think of what other types of abilities for her?

Don't really see Lexi as a combatant...... Okay. Instead of being a squadmate then, imagine instead she joins us for a single mission like Cullen and Leliana did in DAI.

Don't really see Lexi as a combatant...... She can break bones just as well as she can mend them And, I see Lexi as adept... with the initiative armor, like Harry at the beginning. Exactly. She grew up on Omega and her father was a bouncer so I'm sure she was taught how to at least defend herself. Plus biotic training since that is part of asari education. I can see her being an adept, or if we consider ME1 specializations maybe the Medic one which is available to Sentinels and Engineers. With armor, they could do that or maybe she has a set of asari armor like the MP asari characters. Something like this: But replace the breather with a full helmet like in the concept art. The color scheme I imagine would be the medic white and red. Though it would be neat if they added unique touches, maybe like the Mercy skin in Overwatch Uprising where she has a few vials and other equipment strapped on it. If Lexi was a squadmate, I could see her as a support class geared towards improving health and shield regen. She would definitely have Shield Boost as a given, but can't think of what other types of abilities for her? Agreed, she would definitely be a defensive character over an offensive one. Instead of Shield Boost, maybe she gets access to the Biotic Protector ability Nyreen had in ME3 where she creates a biotic barrier bubble that protects people from damage and maybe even regen shields quicker and slowly regen health. Her other two abilities could maybe be Stasis and Neural Shock since those fit her personality and background.

Yeah, how the rejection goes and eventually learning the real reason why leaves her open to getting the Garrus and Tali treatment and become a LI in MEA2 if we continue as Ryder.

I hope so, she is so interesting imo She is, and that makes all the more bitter the fact that they gave significantly less content to the crew than they did to the companions. I so wanted the almost equal treatment of DA:I, moreso after meeting all of them.

It interesting though that even with how much less content they had, I like the crew a lot more than most of the squad. I can only imagine the potential if they had equal content.

Her other two abilities could maybe be Stasis and Neural Shock since those fit her personality and background. I did consider something along the lines of Biotic Protector (from Omega) or Biotic Sphere (from ME3MP). The only downside is that with the amount of combat mobility we're given in MEA, having a stationary power might not be useful anymore or the AI might make Lexi deploy it and then wander outside it's range? If the Biotic Sphere was capable of moving with Lexi (like the one Samara used during the Suicide Mission in ME2), then it might be far more viable. Maybe it could increase damage resistance, shields and health regen, but drastically slows Lexi's movement speed and cooldowns? Since she's meant to used for support and defense, making her trade in her ability to use her offensive abilities as much, would be an even trade off.

Not gonna happen, but give the game non-lethal takedown options in combat and have her use those exclusively. That was actually an idea I had for an original character, a medic type (though he was a turian in my version) that could follow you into combat but absolutely refused to kill.

I would love if they added non-lethal ways to take down enemies like for example the Deus Ex franchise does. It'd be interesting to see the story and characters react to it.

I like Lexi as a character, and her voice is sublime, of course, but the thing that bothers me about her the most is that I can't figure out whether she looks like every other asari the game, or whether every other asari looks like her.
