So it's an action adventure, not RPG. So what we're starting to see more and more in game genres, kind of genre-melding which is great components
of a number of different genres, really kind of coming together into single games.

BioWare is known for, but in a world of greater action and greater adventure which is growing to be one of the larger categories in games. It will

My take is that if it's a co-op story-driven game or maybe like a 4-player SWTOR-like game with storydriven content I'm game because I loooooove Resident Evil 5 and 6 for those features and I would love it even more with dialogue choices and custom-characters... buuuut it sounds like they are making extravagant character designs and lots of them if you look through some tweets... and Andrew Wilson is the guy who put this in motion apparently so I'm thinking it's some heavily mainstream shit like a Moba or an Overwatch clone with stupid character designs. TBH I never knew what to think of the director either. Jonathan Warner. I looked up his Linkedin last week and I was pretty unimpressed. I can't recall but I think he worked with Disney before or something. Not your super creative BioWare fellow dude that I would want leading a new IP, but maybe he'll prove me wrong.

I'm just curious about the setting. They already have a Sci-fi and Fantasy staple. What's left? Contemporary? But yea, I'm sure it will have a multiplayer focus. Doesn't really bother me though, I'd rather have them dedicate an entire IP towards that end than have them warp the franchises I'm already invested in for multiplayer focus.

Wilson become CEO of EA on Sept 2013. The IP is in the work since 2012.

While I would agree that gameplay itself has become more important, I think they're just trying to make the combat more fun (tho I prefer tactical as opposed to fast paced). I liked the story of the base game in DA:I, even though it was filler heavy.

Honestly people are blowing one sentence out of proportion. Bioware is well aware that people tend to share their ME experiences with their friends even before ME went MP. Sure this game will at the least have an MP mode... But at the worse its likely to be an original TOR

Either way it is way too soon to make such sweeping generalisations.
