BioWare blog entry today about New IP. Possibly Multiplayer game

I know starcraft did something with co-op, tho I never tried it.

Ugh... didn't know that they had multiplayer plans for Cyberpunk. Not too pleased about that.

new game might launch this fall if they expect it to launch before march 31st 2018. This could invigorate bioware since both da and me are nearly dead franchises.

I don't believe the game won't be an RPG, you can have an action adventure game while still being an RPG, after all, Bioware is EA's RPG division.

yes they'd be going up against red dead redemption 2 which will kill all other games launching near it. 

Multi-player witcher mayhaps?

I wonder if they will go fantasy or sci fi.  Or sci-fantasy

I imagine it would have to be something with a tried and tested microtransaction model. 

My take is that if it's a co-op story-driven game or maybe like a 4-player SWTOR-like game with storydriven content I'm game because I loooooove Resident Evil 5 and 6 for those features and I would love it even more with dialogue choices and custom-characters... buuuut it sounds like they are making extravagant character designs and lots of them if you look through some tweets... and Andrew Wilson is the guy who put this in motion apparently so I'm thinking it's some heavily mainstream shit like a Moba or an Overwatch clone with stupid character designs. TBH I never knew what to think of the director either. Jonathan Warner. I looked up his Linkedin last week and I was pretty unimpressed. I can't recall but I think he worked with Disney before or something. Not your super creative BioWare fellow dude that I would want leading a new IP, but maybe he'll prove me wrong.
