I've tried multiple things now. Even when I disable and reset to my own internet connection the game now grey's out with a red exclamation alert saying 'Reservation Error'. Is anyone experiencing the same thing? If so, were you able to resolve the problem? Similiar for me, I only have the play button grayed out for some reason even tough there was a notification beside "just released". All my friends seem to have no troubles playing it tho. And I did try the update/reapair/download dlc, too. Yeah I'm having the same issues as well. I just tried to start the game through its shortcut in the game files. Then it actually says the game hasn't been released yet and I have to wait till 23 March. Guess I'll need to keep trying different VPN's.

So, seeing as nothing works, I'm suspecting that the trial is bugging something out with the origin client, so I'm just going to reinstall the game, shouldn't take more than an hour for me, and if that fails, there's always tomorrow.

Disconnect VPN. Restart your PC. Connect VPN. Then restart Origin and log in. 2. Change your Origin country to your selected VPN country 3. Let the game manually search for updates This is all I can think of so far. Also: The Chinese and Japanese SoftEther VPN changed the time to 22nd of March for me. Only the Korean one enabled me to play now. Best of luck to you!

This also appears to me whenever I log into a Hong Kong server through PrivateTunnel (VPN) and I can't even click on the Play button. Should I use another VPN instead or something like that? It's working fine for me. I use SurfEasy VPN. Yep just tried this, SurfEasy worked for me.

I'm currently trying the "delete .exe - > repair game -> see if it works" approach. But I have awful download speed on VPN so 200 kb/s makes things take long for me... Origin is running on "VPN mode" so it considers me to be in Asia.

Can you guys please tell me what exact program you use for VPN? Not just location, but the VPN program. I tried SoftEther, Tunnelbear and Avast SecureLine and nothing has worked.

SoftEther worked like a charm. I didn't even bother to download the Deluxe bonuses. Can always get them on the 23rd. After I started the game and after I passed the trial lock point (just to be sure) I quit the game, put Origin in Oflline mode, turned off the VPN connection and started the game - works again.
As for the people having issues with a gray "Play" button, maybe try and check if your game has the 2 updates that were released yesterday - 500 MB and 288 MB each.

I believe it has something to do with the Trial. When I move the trial.exe from my game files Origin says that I can preload the game now. If I click that it goes on and wants to download the complete game again ignoring that it is actually already installed and asking me to free up the disc space.

God i cant imagine where the issue could be. I ve tried cleaning cache, using different ips from the same area, different vpn programs, changing language or account language but it remains greyed out.

I supposedly finished it a few hours ago, one hour before the game was released in Hong Kong, Korea and such. My Origin account does tell me that I completed it. But the funny thing about this is that I only played 9 hours of my trial with 1 hour left out of those 10 hours of Origin access. I don't even know anymore
