Same here. When I go into the andromeda folder the normal mea.exe loads up the trial for me.

Make sure when you have connected to the VPN that you restart origin then try to launch the game. The VPN posted in this threads OP is the one im using and it has worked!

The VPN set-up isn't the problem, everything seemed fine and dandy with the release date set at 16:00 CET. When the time rolled around it gave me the message: Billing Failed.
I'm not taking any more chances with this, i can wait a few more days.

Could be the account logging in in the game... the trail message only pops up after my account is connected in the main menu.

Yeah i am having the same problem.

And if i try to start the game from the icon on my desktop it pops up on origin saying the game is available on the 21st even though the game says just released.
And i am using VPN all the time i am doing this.

I unlocked the game and downloaded the pre-load bonus. Disconnected the VPN and reloaded Origin a couple of times. Without VPN it still says release date - 23rd March but when I press the games' icon, the game starts.

Does that happen often? I thought every time you restarted Origin, you needed to have the VPN connected.

You and guynice need to switch to a different VPN server. My first Korean server didn't work (greyed-out play button), after switching to another Korean server I can play the game now. Best of luck.

I tried this just now. Connected to Korean VPN with SoftEther. Downloaded all remaining stuff. Turned on the game to check it. Closed the game. Turned Origin Offline. Disconnected VPN and now playing without any issues at all.

Just have to wait for my kid to go to bed, then gaming all night long

Similiar for me, I only have the play button grayed out for some reason even tough there was a notification beside "just released". All my friends seem to have no troubles playing it tho. And I did try the update/reapair/download dlc, too.
