sounds like a bug indeed. unless... ahem, uhm... you forgot to equip it you know?  Yes... Did I use Sniper Amp? Did I use Stronghold? I am going to watch my failures... Haven't recorded too many of them, as I need to get more success early or I'm wasting my time, but maybe the evidence is there. Otherwise, I will give Ash another go or two, then work on 7.1 for a minute again. Meant to say, btw don't ignore grenades either. whilst you're not running a grenade focused build, member they can be as life saving as the DR from AR to shake goons/phantoms off or for things like tank through the w4 initial rush. also, give the Targetting VI, consumable that is, a shot. on an empiric evidence it worked better for me against goons and the likes. i know what you mean, i'm kinda same (but i also have my overall stupidity lending a helping to my impatience) and hey, i full on can't understand how that lot so casually can solo platinum anyway. i've done mine for a tick but haven't had any inclination to pick this up again in about what, three years (can't remmebr, need to have a look in the hof) or some such count me in for the same club membership recognising one's weaknessess something something success, right? |

is it just DF, QGG, and me? DistigousForest , i skimmed through your posts, but sort of lost track have you done 7.2 yet? I've only given 7.2 one attempt, failed late wave 5 or 6 on a stupid play that got me stun-locked. Attempted Ariake, didn't go well. I've been getting really lucky so far with no devices on 7.1, but that luck may be running out soon. I'm always going down wave 4. My best attempt I failed the mission in the EZ somewhere between the extraction clock hitting 0:00 and the enemies disappearing. That was a really solid run, good-ish objectives and time. Ouch.  You seem to have a knack for those aint ya, had it Ash been doing the same to you iirc? But again, means you're already there really. wave 4 is a pain indeed. And no grenades to help through that one this time... what is it this nonsence, am i getting nostalgic of Ash now. most of mine have been on wave 1 again, grab farming, my greed takes the best of me and... and then it's the lottery on wave 6 |

Ouch. Yeah I should've captured that, but I was too stunned when it happened to actually do it. I think I took a screenshot and posted it here. Ash been doing the same to you iirc Ash I failed 3 or 4 times shortly into extraction. Pull-ups was the next worst where I failed one with 20s left because I got hit with two Banshee warps at the same time. 7.1 I usually go down wave 4, sometimes even wave 1 or 2 when going for the grabs. I'm starting to run low on Cyclonics, which isn't good. Here was my attempt:  And no grenades to help through that one this time... I didn't use grenades on Ash, straight up Mantis CS build. I guess I could try speccing into Drone for 7.1, but that would mean taking points out of the Passive & Fitness trees, which I don't really want to do. I'm not a big fan of Drone anyway. |

I have to say that screenshot... is kinda disheartening. Sheesh, that's another one. Yeah bud you're clearly aiming for some customary title there. Sheesh
Engie's drone is awesome btw. And on 7.1, it's a great keeping phantoms distracted. plop it in that hallway on w4, with luck staggers dragoons and preoccupies phantoms, and if not that's least it's just oogns to deal with in a hurry. Are you burning through the CIVs on challenges?

Yeah I'm burning through my CMIIIs/CMIVs and APIV, but I have a lot of Drill Rounds and APIII so I'm not too worried about that. No fancy giveallmpconsumables here. Although if I play plat with a good team (I can get away using PAs and CMIIs) I can get a lot of creds fast and get at least one or two back with Arsenal Packs. |

Mostly mucking about some challenge attempts really nowadays when i do get to my ME3MP time. Well, with the N7 day around will pug/host a bit around obviously otherwise it's just too laggy to be pleasant, either is for me or sods who join my host. Anyway, the point i was going for was that i personally haven't noticed much difference between CIV and CIII, and on a map like glacier even the IIs are quite viable, obviously but with the higher risks of early running out of gels or not meting 5ws |

Just so you're aware, that command doesn't give you all the things, just the 4 core goodies - gel, rockets, ops, and thermals. You are still limited to 255  Then, giveallmatchconsumables gives you 1 of everything.... That you do not already have one of. So, if you are dead out of something, it is great in a pinch, but otherwise useless. Mustard console is somewhat limited, other than the nameless cheats that some lamers use, that we have changeteam for  ... On topic: impatient. Too impatient. Never my mind on where I am. What I am doing. I enjoy HEng, so I have been failing more at 7.1 of late. I guess I should give Ash a call. |

I mean if we're talking it gets to the point I'm picking between a CMII or PAIV, give me the PAIV. You can one shot a Phantom's barrier with Chain Overload (AAB gives you 3344 barrier/shield damage) and Incinerate does over 1400 to armor. That's essentially my team build for plat, just swap the Hurrdurr for a CSMG. It just means I'm a little squishy and would need to play smarter. |

yeah, i see where you coming from. ia gree, vanilla humans have good survivability without those shields. think none of them gets more than three points in fitness. but it's the 5ws is a tricky one. Especially without a drone with just your basic shields surviving that first goons/phantoms rush would be... problematic. i suppose you could try to spread the spawn, or run around until a good funnel position. but then i'd go AMs anyways, and run around the map in (quite smallobviously) circles cackling with laughter
edit: great, on top of everything my keyboard' started laggin. might be the battery on its last breath. that or someone's jamming me

Glenn, Senor u with us or do we need to get Doc on your cases? he's getting old and tired it seems, even DF has it easy despite console based, but i'm sure we can still wind him up if need be. I'll answer you here, so I won't flood the submission thread with that... A couple of weeks ago, I had two weeks off and wanted to work on the series. Sadly, it was at that time, that I did not really enjoy ME3MP, so I left it aside, hoping my enjoyment would come back. I've played a few games every now and then, seeing my Galactic Readiness consistently shrinking. I'm not saying I took a super long break from ME3MP, but I've lost all of the little skill I had in this game. For example, I started a Glacier/Unknown game as a solo, not wanting to wait for other players. Got Geth and lost 4 gels and whatnot in the first wave.  I'm pretty busy lately and don't have too much time on my hands, but I'll try to make sure to give something at least a try. N4.2 seems like a nice challenge to go with, spamming Arc Grenades.  |

Well I had two really good runs going for N7.1 that ended in me getting shivved on waves 8 and 9 with multiple gels and ops packs remaining. The wave 9 gutting was particularly frustrating as I had escorts for both objectives and was killed by the last Phantom in the most embarrassing fashion. I charged in to get close and kill her with the Hurrdurr only to run out of ammo...while my powers were on cool down...when she had two bars of health  Don't get me started on 7.2. I gave it two tries and didn't get past wave 3 on either with center hack (failed glitch miserably) and pizza. |

My commiserations bud. You ain't alone either it went quite a similar fashion for me too. A handful of ragequits due to deaths on waves 1/2, guardians pls!!!, then a couple of decent runs. One ended wti hthe wave 10 targets, i once again could not switch with my very last missile of course arrrgh. that fucking cogbucket survived with the last sliver of armour. i've tried to get to the second one but alas phantoms crossfire. and yea got shish kebabed nicely in another one during wave 9 tidy up. initially misjudged on who was still left on the field and then completely missed her flanking me going all sneaky until that uh no moment and then oops, no ops packs right after... ah well.

I got downed after 0:00 right as the enemies were all killed. It was done by a Phantom, of course, I was downed and was revived within tenths of a second at basically the same time.
