. I got downed after 0:00 right as the enemies were all killed yeah i remember about that, though i kinda remember you have a bit of time right after the 0 to get in the EZ to get full extraction. But i thought dying would be a bit longer than that. I already died after the 00 and got the extraction... Ok. Hope i ll avoid that dispapointment  ANywxay, if you die after 03 sec, i m pretty sure it s too late to gel
BTW : I used the 2 mag upgrade and AP rounds my self last we when i redid it. ATM i m banging my head against the wall cause i cant sub 23 with annhilation.

It is less damage, no argument there, i do quite enjoy though its overall utility and that pseudo crowd control it comes with... You get them frozen mooks (not firing at you, are they, well most of the time, a sincere fuck you specifically message goes to geth hunters) nicely primed for your chain cryo/combo explosions, then slowed down and exposed (!) brutes and dragoons. that's quite important to me, since most of the time i'm not that confident to stay the ground like you pros do and need that extra fraction of time to slow the advance. also being a scrub i am, i can never remember which ammo types steal headhsots/weapon kills and the whole penetration stacking/overriding so when tasked with the medal requirements i opt for the safe choices like cryo or drill. i had a few goes here with AP rounds, and for sure things die faster, but struggled with the medals and felt being pushed out quite a bit more too I failed a bunch last night. All wave 4 deaths. ... Devices on Glacier is the worst objective.My successful run for plat version of Anihilation was with two time devices if i remember correctly,but vs ripaz is much easier.Versus cerb is very hard.Damn phantrolls could ruin everything.

Since MPApr2012 and Qui-Gon GlenN7 haven't posted any Ash or Clone War extractions or fails lately I'll post another post-objective wave 10 fail. Objectives were devices, escort, targets. Again, gang banged by Phantoms. My time was damn good too. Shame I used two gels on wave 1 as this was my first game after a week off.  Looking at that score it seems freakishly low for a solo, though I did have at least 5 enemies left when I died. |

That sucks. Considerably closer to finishing than I've been. I extracted once on a 3ws solo very early on, and haven't been past wave 5 since. I have about 4 or 5 wave 10 fails Very frustrating. I just get too aggressive/stupid after 5WS that I burn through gels between waves 6 & 8 and I end up needing them dearly by wave 10. Steve does absolutely annoy the shit out of Phantoms, and just about every Cerberus enemy except Atlas. That's a far throw from trivializing tho... If you know how to actually make them trivial as I understand the word, get to splaining mang! It does work well, you just gotta get the timing right with it and you need to get another one out as soon as it dies. It distracts the Phantoms and stuns the Goons making them easy picking. I've straight up murdered wave 4 with Steve out and about stunning Goons and trolling Phantoms, toss an Incinerate into the group and when he splodes you get a nice Fire Explosion. That said, it's only worked out like that a few times. It really helps if you get devices because that mother fucker stuns everything that gets close and has saved me several times that way. |

Sorry bud, stuck in Tamriel. can't seem to get out  believe it or not, they haven't even activated their relay, smh. On the topic though, DistigousForest covered the pertinent points, i'll elaborate a bit just need spend some time with our map. Heldarion 's one doesn't have cords grid unfortunately. ima burning through the last week of my holiday leave. my me3mp, and the N7, certainly feels kinda neglected. time to address this indeed.
edit: wow BSN is lagging
edit: right. some scrubby ways to cheese through them waves 4 and wave 7. both are notorious for goons/phantoms bumrushes. and we need to survive w4 at least to get our 5ws medal. time for Steve to shine. i'll record a video, but my upload capabilities are somewhat constrained at the mo so may take a while. anyways, let's use Heldarion 's map for reference in the meantime
so you park by the star-12 location as per usual, cast Steve in front of those crates upstairs westward towards 15 the ones upstairs on our side of the wall next that yellow squiggle. the normal spawn/flow will be coming down those stairs, do watch out for your right flank but I found it unlikely pathway at least until you get to centurions/troopers. anyways, them goons/phantims come bumrushing, and you focus on goons, phantums for later. Steve staggers goons. if he doesn't you first overload the goons, yep that's right, to stagger them yourself and keep them either next to crates or on stairs. then you inci/overload/shoot them. in the meantime Steve keeps phantums suppressed or cartwheeling and occasionally ass-staggers the goons to help further or goes banzai. the important point is to keep Steve active all the time next to those crates for the better crowd control and you need to help him with an occasional override. rinse, repeat. once waves goons budget gone, them pahntums next, Steve again at the same place. keep in mind, on recast Phantums tend to ignore Steve until their first potshot/stab at you but they will turn back so plan accordingly. that's it in a nutshell. the biggest waves nuisance becomes rogue centurians, endwave engineers rush watch out for them exploding, and w7's Atli.

In my Exile I will study these things. The map diagram was a pleasant surprise and I need to examine it on a larger screen later. The theory and method is not foreign to me, but I think the location is something different perhaps. I had been mostly living in the lower lab next to the basement, abusing the stairs. Works really well on many waves, falls apart in instances though. Part of that is unlucky spawns, part of it is poor TTK because I scrub out sometimes.
