Uh...gone with what? I didn't want to hang around ME2 after the endgame, I wanted to play ME3 

Lol. You'd have to break the heart of a dying man, then, I would think. I'm not sure how that actually goes in the game.

Gone with the consequences. No loopholes, no asking us for advice. Just play your characters,  hit the endgame when it comes up and see what happens.

You'd get to ME3 just as fast that way. Maybe faster if people get killed before doing their LMs.

I was planning on doing all LMs my only concern was the game might not let me. I didn't come here for advice about them.

In me world everyone has an agenda, and at that point Cerberus does not stand out as the omg, uber-evil thing. Their rethorics is no different than other nationalistic agendas in the game. Besides, as a Spectre Shepard may well be doing an infiltration mission, which Kaiden does not even consider.

As for the willingness to forgive the mistakes, Kaiden never even asks for understanding or forgiveness, and Shepard has never personally failed him. Or yelled at him over his choices. It's unfair that he acts that way, when for removing him from the plot he could have simply backed away with something more palatable if she chose to ask him to give her a benefit of the doubt, like "our ways are parting for now, I hope you will reconsider". Yelling was absolutely unnecessary.

Shepard only returns what she was given if she is unwilling to have anything to do with him in her private life after he does it first. Kaiden gets what he deserves, the "thank you for your interest on being back on the team, Mr. Alenko. We'll get back to you."

Did you play ME1?  I don't know how you could complete that game and not see Cerberus as evil.  That was my takeaway from playing it (or any ME game) for the first time early last year.  No prior info and unaware of any message boards about ME at the time.  I immediately pegged them as an evil organization just by playing ME1.

As for Kaidan, well, you do hold this same dislike for Ashley, right?  Because she behaves identically.

I played ME1 twice, and it did not feel particularly evil to me because ME1 had so many enemies thrown your way. There was another corporation doing unethical research, Saren, Geth, gods know what else... Cerberus never really come into focus for me prior to ME2.

With Ashley, my male Shepard did not romance her and refused her the return to the Normandy. I already knew how it will happen, so it did not sting as badly as with Kaiden, and I could not go back and replay the entire ME1 to not romance Kaiden, and I also missed the option of telling him to take another assignment in ME3. I was a bit more savvy second time round so my male Shepard did what I wished my female one did. I also did not have a romance I really liked for my male Shepard, unlike Thane's, so I did not have the same astounding show of churliness from Ashley that I had from Kaidrn in respect to acknowledging Shepard's actual love story.

I was conflicted on the genophage cure.

I like Wrex. I remember wanting o cure his people in ME1.

But Mordin's logic was pretty darn sound. But then I took a step back. Every other race gets the freedom o proliferate and make war. Salarians and humans aren't the Weavers of the Galaxy.

So I told him to help the Krogan.
