Lol dragontartare already things I play games at a ridiculously quick pace.

Now way I'm getting done with this tonight.

The reload is faster the bullets are faster. They pulled out shields, I stealth Ed and ran up behind him and shot him in the head with my pistol.

This battle system is sooooo much better

There will be a few more shields introduced as you go farther into the game.  Combat-wise though, ME3 is easier than ME2. 

For lots of explosion fun, try doing some power combos (for example, try hitting an enemy with James' Carnage ability followed immediately by hitting that same enemy with Liara's warp).  There are lots of different ways powers can be chained to create big explosions and massive amounts of damage ... good to remember when you start facing some tougher enemies later on in the game.
