Possible Story leak - Extreme spoilers [debunked]

Yes but the giant eezo celestial body is a big guy and might have more eezo than anything the council races harvested or will harvest eezo in the Milky Way. Worth the effort if Alec is frightened at the ramifications of the council getting their hands on it.

I think they learned from ME3. They are willing to take risks, but not willing to take away player choice to that extreme any more.

I doubt this leak for several reasons.

1. It makes no mention of the fate of the Archon and he's the game's main antagonist. Unless he's dealt with before dad Ryder goes crazy I'd except any ending leak to mention what happens to him.

2. Bioware stated dad Ryder would not be an antagonist and this ending basically makes him one.

3. I highly doubt Bioware would leave the question if Cora is TIM's daughter up in the air.

4. Unless they went the DA route with new protagonists in every Mass Effect game, this ending would take away gender choice.

5. I think this is suppose to be something "special" about the Ryder family which is why the Archon is interested in them, that's not mentioned at all.

Exactly. Some of it makes sense, the rest seems to be filler added based on random rumors. We won't play Ryder in MEA2 so killing them off fits. Dad is the bad guy, which we know he's not, but older leaks hinted he was. More filler to add. Making a choice that affects relations with the Milky Way and Andromeda? I find that believable. Choosing to side or not with Cerberus? WTF are they even doing here?? It's way too many plot holes, but at the same time some of it might be true.

There were no leaks on Alec being the bad guy. Only hypothesis based on a some shots in the game and the fact that character wasn't our PC.

Exactly, lots of holes, as people have pointed out often throughout this thread. And I checked out his so-called "source" and it's a forum post by someone who neither provided a source for their info or answered any of the follow up questions there.

Question.....why would Bioware force us into a specific gender by killing our hero off which will likely result in people just retconning it when they play the sequel if they want to play the gender they prefer?

Sorry, I don't see how they would make the character die and play postgame with the opposite twin. Not to mention the Vaults are likely more central to the game then the leak suggests.

If you like it because it makes the AI have another reason for the trip other then exploration, I think that will be in the game either way.
