Who s ascending for andromeda ?

OneWomanArmy you can ascend to their upgraded versions and just when you think that you'll have a smoother experience on as PS4 Pro than on a regular PS4 you'll learn about the fact that they just increase the resolution but the game still runs with shitty 30fps.

Sadly the PS4 Pro wont even be proper 4k gaming. On top of it being 1800p instead of 2160p it's checkerboard rendering.

Which means that the PS4 Pro will only draw about half the pixels and then use other data to just try to figure out what the rest of the frame should look like, resulting in an image that doesn't take as much resources but isn't as high quality as if you could just actually render it at 1800p(still will look better than 1080p though).

Of course you still have to game at 30 FPS so...

It's pretty indicative of just how bad the console hardware is this generation that they're already capping it at 30 FPS at 1080p on the normal PS4, and at checkerboard 1800p on the PS4 Pro. Reportedly the Xbox Scorpio(their version of the pro) will be capable of true 4k, but we've not actually seen the specs on that as far as I know. I suspect that would be capped at 30 FPS as well, since even a PC running the holy grail of 60 FPS @ 4k is damn expensive right now.

I know Battlefield 1 actually tried to use dynamic resolution scaling to help maintain a higher framerate, which allows the game engine to actually scale back the resolution during gameplay if it dips too low in FPS. Unfortunately from what I've heard, neither console can maintain 60 FPS even with that(and Battlefield 1 was a fairly well optimized game running a fairly well optimized engine).

It would be nice if they included an option on the PS4 Pro version of ME:A so that the user could choose between 1800p @ 30 FPS or 1080p @ 60 FPS(assuming that it's capable of this).

A PC capable of maintaining 60 FPS @ 1080p really isn't all that expensive these days. Would recommend ascension =P

since i didn't pre-order the super deluxe edition of MEA, i was able to afford a new desktop.
I had an old ROG , 17" with a gtx 460 !!! so it was overdue.

i7 6700 , gtx 1070 , 16gb ram, 500 ssd , 650 psd , flashing blue and red through a white nzxt.
but i couldn't face Cortana so... win 7 .

xassantex sounds like a good system. I run Win 10 Pro and have no trouble with Cortana. You know why? I shut that bitch up right after the initial installation. Disabled her/it like some other functions and all the "ET wants to call home aka Redmond" functions with a nice tool. It's actually even called shut up, not kidding: "O&O ShutUp10". Not sure if there's an english version though...

what language is it in ? 

i might install win10 later on. But i thought since their last update it was a hassle to shut her up as one had to do it one app at a time or just about. 

thanks about the build. It's running cool and  quietly . I will add another ssd over time  . 
And the 1070 should be fine for a good while... i only use it to surf the web and write e-mail .
