I don't get how Cassandra couldn't find Hawke. I mean, all you have to do is to follow a trail of bodies and explosions! To be fair, it's Cassandra. Her only tactic for gathering information is threatening people. She's even more of a woman-shaped battering ram than Aveline. What I wonder is why the Divine sent her in the first place. And how surprised and disappointed, that Varric didn't tell her the whole truth about Hawke's hideout... How can be so naive a Seeker!? |

Cass: I have to know... where did you go after you left Kirkwall?
Hawke: Nowhere.

Hawke: I'm not. I never left the city.

Hawke: I lied.
Hawke: When the Chantry sent people to Kirkwall, what did you expect to find?
Cass: That you'd be long gone.
Hawke: Precisely! Leaving was the smart thing to do.
Hawke: So I did the last thing the Chantry would think of and stayed put.
Cass: Then where did you hide? Sundermount, the Bone Pit, Darktown?
Hawke: The Hanged Man.
Cass: The tavern? No, I don't believe it. That's too ridiculous!
Hawke: So ridiculous no-one would ever suspect to look there.
Cass: But it was heavily damaged in the explosion, no-one could even enter, let alone live there?
Hawke: And who told you that?
Cass: *Narrows eyes* Varric...

To be honest, I can imagine Hawke going into battle half-naked, showing muscles in the slowest slow motion ever made and yelling at people while stabbing them to death. Bonus points for Reaver/Berserker specialization.  |

Also known as the time Hawke decided to bring Satinalia to Aveline's office, thinking she needed some festive cheer. It is said that she chased him all the way from Hightown to the Docks, where he escaped her wrath by hiding in a barrel of turnips. The funniest thing is I can totally picture Hawke uttering Leonidas' lines;
"Haven't you noticed, we've been sharing our culture with you all morning?"
"Clearly you've not met our women..."
"You see, slaughtering all those men of yours has, uh, well it's left a nasty cramp in my leg, so kneeling will be hard for me." |

I was just looking into DA Keep to change some things. I looked around all the protagonists I created (some of them existed since 2011 since I kept their save files and they got imported into Keep when it was started. Or maybe it went from original Bioware social network, not sure about that). To my surprise, I found one particular female rogue Hawke with blonde hair (and probably green eyes) that I played around 2012 or so... and her name is Ciri. Guess which Witcher's character did f!Hawke's VA Jo Wyatt voiced? |

Sarcastic Hawke became one of my favourite BW characters, and I've never grown so attached to a video game protagonist. Hawke's just great! I've tried a couple different Hawkes, switching up personalities and genders and classes, but at the end of the day I think my heart will always be with the first Hawke I ever rolled - and my favorite.
