While I don't recall whether or not it's explicitly stated, it's heavily implied that Ashley is a Christian. In fact, her rationale is that because there are "other lifeforms not of our world," it gives more evidence that you should believe in some higher power. As far as the longevity of religion, the current dominant religions have been around for over 2000 years. I'm sure a couple centuries are not going to drastically change people's faith, regardless of what technological innovations or extraterrestrials may be discovered. There will always be those who believe in something.

I wouldn't mind more variety, but then again there hasn't really been a lot of variety in terms of humans from different geographical regions in Mass Effect games. At least with regard to squadmates, human companions are predominantly of European descent with the occasional sprinkling of Africans and then sometimes Asians or Hispanics. If BioWare were to throw in an Indian human squadmate or crew member who was a devout Hindi or Buddhist, I think that would be incredibly interesting and compelling. Will it happen? Your guess is as good as mine.

While I'm not expecting it at this point, it would be neat if we could at least get a confirmed image of Suvi. A character video on YouTube would be more ideal, but I'll just take a non-blurry and non-ambiguous screenshot!

That's a fair point! They never answer my tweets, but if enough of us floods them with Suvi questions, who knows? Maybe they'll at least say something new about her. It's worth a shot at least!
