Enemy AI looks pretty stupid.
There is clipping where enemies' feet are inside the earth and also they slide around inside of actually walking.
Sara still looks goofy. Her facial expression look awkward like they didn't really care about her. As if as long as the male is OK their work is done. He smile likes like he's in intense pain but trying to smile over it.
I don't know how old this build is they're showing, but it needs work. If this is what they plan to release it needs more polish.

We do it by completing the fetch quest objectives. I don't mind fetch quests as long they aren't the meat of the game. Having varied fetch quests and collectibles just gives me another reason to enjoy the gorgeous world. Yup. As long as there's a good handful of side-quests that actually is about character interaction and the main quest is actually solely about storydriven questing then it's good with a bunch of fetch quests available on the side. I just hope we can explore the planets without the quest log automatically updating with new "do 3 of these!" objectives. That is what bothered me most in DA:I. Something happens and I don't even get to register it before something new is happening in the quest log, which was the same problem with ME3 and it made it feel like I was losing control over the game.

You can always just headcanon it that the jetpack has the capacity to detect a world's gravity and adjust power and mass effect fields accordingly. I like it, it's broadly plausible, I'm not convinced it works as well for down as up, so I'll just have to spec charge and make sure I never descend under gravity alone. I believe in you

Did you watch the trailer even, Ryder used cover even with the Nomad. The use of cover was minimal and it wasn't for tactics. He blasted everything else while staying in the open, vulnerable to enemies. Yet the game rewarded him for that type of playstyle. It's worth keeping in mind these trailers tend to be played on the easiest difficulty just so they can show off using abilities.

no cover!? wtf it's ridiculous Are you blind? He used cover many times in the video. TBH when enemies behave like that you don't need cover. Like 1:11: -Stahp, pls. omg.. you are going to kill me, wtf? No, not the sniper! Or 3:17: - Good day maam! Hey, wtf, put me down! - Yo guys what she doing to Jimmy? - Look at his legs dangling funny! - Wait, is she going to throw him at us? - Nooooo... Literally not a SINGLE shot was fired by those enemies. I hope that's the narrative difficulty.

All the Caucasian humans look weird in that they look like Thunderbird puppets (especially Cora), but bro doesn't have the resting facial expression of a person taking a painful shit while trying to hide the fact.

Once again, it's not her looking ugly. It's her animations not being there. When the asian doctor makes that little joke about Sara's mission Sara reacts by looking away without a very decipherable expression. It's just the animation system not being very good at conveying emotion as usual. The asian also looks kind of bland in her expression. The eye-region muscles do not move enough.

Speaking as somebody who was looking forwards to doing a pure 'adept' play-through first I'm starting to get a little concerned about the seeming lack of variety of biotic powers in single player. I thought I'd be able to construct the kind of character I wanted but that's impossible without Warp, Reave, Dark Channel, Stasis, etc. Not even cluster grenades? No lash or smash. Half the powers are missing, what a gimped selection if this turns out to be the case. What is the point of having a shotgun on an adept build without warp? (not including Annihilation *Field* as new because it's not new to me) but only 12 in total including 2 passives, 2 vanguard powers and barrier. I wasn't expecting some of the more outlandish ones like Dark Sphere or Biotic Flare but on first impressions this looks frustrating limiting to me. BioWare pitching the mix and match approach fine but why would I pick powers from another skill tree if you're going to purposely nerf their effectiveness for me choosing the adept profile. I wouldn't because that would be a waste of time on the higher difficulties. If this turns out to be the case I think i'll skip biotics in single-player and wait for multiplayer to see if there's more variety there. Well if you look at Mass Effect 3 SP Adept you had a total of 6 active abilties, 2 passives, and 1 open slot for the loyalty power. Just based on what we've seen in this trailer we have 9 active abilities and 3 passives. Not sure on if there will be a loyalty power mechanic or not(having it would open up a lot more choices, though given the way the power system is set up I could see it not being there anymore). For all intents and purposes, Warp appears to have been replaced with Lance which states "Devastates a small area with a swiftly thrown shaft of energy. Inflicts bonus damage against enemy weak points (such as heads) and detonates combo primers". So it appears as though some skills will now also be able to headshot. I think Lance sound more like lift/cluster grenade than warp. Perhaps you can unlock more powers than the initial 12 as you progress. Thinking logically about it sticking to the adept profile would be pretty dull if that was your lot.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are playing in a dev mode where the enemies are just there to be shot at. This may not be real gameplay footage. But yeah, it looks terrible.
Good think about amazon is I can preorder it for $13 cheaper and if reviews are bad I can send it back for a full refund within 30 days. I am not removing the plastic until I see what's what with it.

Wonder how we're going to "make the dust bowl livable"? Bet this ties into the settlements We do it by completing the fetch quest objectives. Only now noticed the scan 3 glyphs sidequest objective. Noooooooooooooooooo.

I've never been more excited to jump back into my Adept-heavy style. (Of course, tech looks great, too!) I think it may be that certain powers have been functionally folded into the power evolutions. Also, did you see Pull? Look at how much more involved and powerful it is. If that's even partially true of other powers, biotics should be more varied and fun to use than they've ever been. I think it's probably too early to judge the current system as limited or lacking variety. Warp, Reave and the others are likely embedded in there, somewhere.

no cover!? wtf it's ridiculous It's a dev (likely) playing on Casual difficulty. No cover or tactics required. If we tried the same on Insanity, I suspect we'd get shredded pretty swiftly. We'll need to stay mobile, take cover, and use powers to regenerate defenses. I've just been (for some reason) reading the youtube comments. Never read the comments. The comments are not for you. Come back to us.

I suppose with the way they have implemented it you could start out as an adept give it a try and end up more like a soldier or engineer if you don't like what they have done with the class. I did notice how much more control you have with pull, it looks very cool.

Ryder is apparently a deity. The game makes this clear by referring to Her with capitalized pronouns In all seriousness though, the last glimpse of the UI featured similar (minor but irksome [to me]) errors, and I hope they get polished out of existence by launch. If they're obvious to me, they should be very obvious to an editor.

Looks fun, dig the whole MW-Khett-Helius weapon types. I expect a wide selection and make/models (IE: multiple types of smgs based on the helius design, since MW smgs have multiple models from various manufacturers).
I know there's been some discussion about customizing armor with various pieces, but has it been mentioned about customizing armor colors as well? And would that extend to weapons? So like for instance I could don a sleek white coloration for my suit, and have my weapons match accordingly?

@tibermoon The chest piece armor determine appearance of the whole set? Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon @ezaonite Nope. Chest armor sets the default colors of the underarmor to help make the pieces match, but you can customize that if u want. Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon
@ezaonite To be clear: chest, arms, legs, and helmet are all separate meshes. You can mix and match most pieces however you like.
