I just have an idea. How about one long conversation between Gil & Scott when Gil ask if Scott want to walk around the ship with him (maybe only if Scott flirt wih him before) then they make comment about every area maybe some friend too (and have some flirt). Tour end by Gil send Scott back to his quater and said that he will visit Scott's agian... soon).

We don't, and we most liekly wont.

I think a video or brief scene with the Margaery and Renly Baratheon reunited would generate at least some interest, so I don't understand why BW didn't do one. It's also a waste to use the actor of that HBO show but don't reveal his character, like, what was the point of that? The video by itself is funny to ME fans, but when you don't have a connection to the character he's voicing, it's utterly pointless.

Their marketing have been odd af.

It is a little odd for sure at least Game of Thrones fans would like that. I think there is even more potencial with some voice actors but then again they cannot even show the LIs or their design...

This is really worrying. Why are they keeping him under such lock and key? Is this the "sexual orientations are a spoiler" nonsense again?

Well, given the writer wants him to be a total surprise for the main game-I'm assuming we are getting zilch. I'm trying to find ways to distract myself as much as possible at this point. 13 days till preview and dataminers put us out of our misery hopefully.

So my sister is coming over for Spring Break, so I probably won't play MEA til like April.

Personally, I think Cortez was given a husband so gamers would know right away that he was gay. It was meant to make them (slightly homophobic straight male gamers) feel comfortable and in control of the situation. "Oh, this guy is gay. I'm cool with gays. I'll like be nice to him and stuff and help him get over his husband." That way no "OOPS I ACCIDENTALY SLEPT WITH THE GAY GUY!" situation. (And yet some people still got ninjamanced by Kaidan; in their defense, I wouldn't have known giving him a bottle of whiskey was a romantic gesture unless I'd read about it first lmao)

Same with Traynor. What is the first thing we learn about her when we meet her? She has a crush on EDI's voice. A GIRL VOICE. OH NO LESBIAN ALERT. Slightly homophobic straight gamer: "Oh, she must be a lesbian. I guess I can't get with her. Not a big deal I guess since she's not even on my squad. She seems cool though."

So that was 2012. Here's hoping that things have progressed slightly in 2017. Gil Brodie's "purpose" hopefully won't have anything to do with his sexuality, and by that I meant, his purpose/quest/whatever won't just be there to "warn" straight gamers away from him.

I would like to think that since they got someone from a popular show to do his voice that they would put some amount of effort into him. Why pay all that money if you weren't going to make the most of it? But I also don't know much about voice-acting and typical pay scales so who knows.
