To be fair, according to that article only about 2 years went into actually developing most of the game's characters and stories.

Lol, do you hear yourself? "Gay dudes who don't like Gil have a phobia of children", "the people who want equal content are selfish".

BioWare treated their gay male fanbase like garbage, and it's blatantly obvious.

I don't need to be "grateful" to BioWare for shit. I paid full price for the game at launch, and I have the right to express discontent with it for ANY REASON.

I'd like to say I can't believe you're spitting in the face of other posters while reaping the benefits of their hard work, but I've been around long enough to know that this kind of hypocrisy is common among gay men, for some awful reason.

Go on praising BioWare for scraps if you want, but quit holding back the people who fight for us to be treated like actual human beings.

This is both sad and pathetic.

This is a video game. This is a form of entertainment. It has no value other than what you make of it personally. You are not a lesser human being for not having equal content in the game. Your rights have not been infringed. 

Even worse, this isn't even a form of media that can form impressions on young people. This is ADULT content we're talking about. The latter actually has some reasonable arguments. There is no lack of inclusion. There is no fundamental homophobic context or implication.

What is this. My God my people can't even celebrate pride without risking violence and THIS is what justifies your humanity.

lol does echo chamber now mean no one is agreeing with you but you're not even willing to consider that the majority of the LGBT fans on this forum have had strong issues with all aspects of LGBT content in the game? like the panda said, you're just reducing everything to sex scene content for some reason. Not that, you know, Suvi can't even state that she's not into men so as not to offend straight men who hit on her. Or that Peebee hits on any character who hasn't fully locked in to a romance, possibly making any person who is not remotely into her uncomfortable? There was bloody murder screamed when Anders hit on a male Hawke and yet now we have "who would want to push her off?" making a pass at us midway through the game even if we haven't flirted with her at all. The game is clearly designed for straight male gamers and if we want the design to be aimed at everyone we have to point these things out to Bioware. It doesn't help for people to say "this is fine, the content I got was fine even though there was absolutely no marketing aimed at me, my options have CC faces instead of custom faces, devs queerbaited about our options before the game came out so they could still get our money while knowing our content was less. And I'm going to try to tell those who aren't content to accept less content to shut up."

here's an idea, if you're coming back into a thread about a gay male romance, don't start off by labeling the community as toxic and then expect civil discourse. Especially give your post history and our collective memories.

To think that after centuries of repression, war heroes being bullied to death, brilliant poets being executed and a endless list of anonymous lives ruined we have to entertain a bunch of clowns call their pissy fit about some completely inconsequential videogame character a "fight to be treated like actual human beings" genuinely makes me want to punch some reality into them.
