How will you spend your initial hours playing MEA?

-Blow hours in the CC. For both siblings.

-Blow an hour or so restarting the game because I'm tinkering with the graphics settings and the first scenes lagged and killed da immmersions

-Get sick of my cheekbones and restart with 2 hours of progress

-Spend even longer in the CC because I don't want to try again

-Finally play

Spend 5 minutes in the CC, end up picking the default, then jump into the game.

Spend between 10-30 min on CC.. If the presets are really good I might just roll with one of them. Then I will def be playing the first portion of the game.

I am hoping I can save in between CC and picking background, but I highly doubt it. I might just go with first preset until I find out what skills I start with for each background so I can pick the best background for myself and then once I find the one I want I might go back and make a char in CC and play for real.

Def going to try and see if I can play the first mission without killing the Kett, so might have to reload a few times. After that, I will prolly just try to do as much in one area as possible.

For my First, I will not use CC because I plan to use defaulf face&name.

I will listen to the opening theme for a while then go through the game, talk to everyone and find out who Scott can flirt with and response well.

depending on how nice the CC is, i'll probably spend a fair amount a time there, or go with the defaults. (sara's adorable, okay?)
regardless of how that goes, i know i'll be spending so much time looking at the scenery and taking so. many. screenshots.

I'm honestly surprised to hear some people actually spending an hour+ in the CC. To each their own, not judging.

The original trilogy default Shep, DA2 defalut Hawke (minus blood stain). DaO and Da:I I did some very minor hair/beard changes. I usually just wanna get off to the races pretty quick.

Here, I'm going default Scott (name too, heard there was some first name VA if you don't change it), with whatever background has biotics I like. Then I wanna get the squaddies recruited as fast as I can so I start exploring while listening to the banter of different squad combos.

Making ugly Scott and beautiful Sara, then probably quitting the game and writing a fake review with fake spoilers on BSN calling it 'the worst game ever, as if Tommy Wiseau wanted to make a Big Rigs sequel'. I'll probably throw in a paragraph about SJWs ruining everything and that BioWare is on a warpath against white men. Then maybe I'll jump into multiplayer to check out the gameplay, and eventually I'll actually play the game.

Feeling guilty about not studying for one.

Dutch is the champion of all things "The Witcher 3" and the hater of all things related to BioWare. He has been spouting his "views" for years on the Old BSN and continues to spout his "views" daily on here. Miraculously after hating everything BioWare stands for, he still seems to be one of their most active and avid followers.

Anyway, it sounds like you'll be having loads of fun playing MEA early on.

Honestly,  I'll spend first two days biting nails because of EU release (I won't be bothered with VPN), turn off the internet because of spoilers, then take time off at work, check reviews on some sites, play it until I'm done with the single player and then rant about some things (but not much) before going to MP which (I think) will have good enough gameplay to overcome even DA2-tier plot.

As for ME:A SP itself, I imagine driving around in Nomad a lot, at least on the first couple of planets.

- Spend hours in the CC

- Restart if the Ryder twins look like shit

- Spend hours in the CC

- Restart if DadRyder looks like shit

- Spend hours in the CC

- Complete the prologue mission

- Explore every planet, sidequest and talk to every companion possible before starting the next story mission

- Repeat step 7 after story mission is complete.
