Maybe it is, but playing it for the first time felt absolutely great because of the contrast between ME1 and ME2 gameplay. In hindsight and because of ME3 turning it into a giant pointless side quest it probably wasn't that good. But we always will have Suicide Mission OST track |

If Sera is like an 800 on a scale then Peebee is like 120. The former being totally over the top bonkers while the latter only a little... flippant? Dunno a better word. So i'd disagree with people saying Peebee is just like Sera... PeeBee being a 120 out of 800 already should tell you that she might be worse. How much have we heard her talk or seen her personality? Give it another 20 hours. She'll be in the 1,000s. She literally steals an escape pod and kidnaps the commanding officer of the ship. The only reason she kidnaps you is because if she just went by herself, you would leave her there. Now Kallo has to land. As shitty as Sera was, she never did this. Yeah. That was unexpected. In a bad way. She deceived and betrayed her ship's captain and crewmates. I hope the full game actually addresses this, or at least gives Ryder the option to address this. |

I'd gotten the impression that Peebee was some kind of quirky but abrasive/antisocial intellectual. Here she's just overly cutesy. They're trying way too hard. I also struggled to distinguish between her dialogue and Ryders, but I'll be playing male Ryder, so. Also worrying at the lack dialogue sequences or cutscenes there but hopefully they were all cut out for spoilers. Combat is looking very cool, though. Yea, it was a little hard to differentiate their voices. Ryder's was modulate though because of the full helmet. |

I like the characters but the story's basically ohhhhnoooooo suicide mission.... we're alllllllll going to die... YAY Shepherd will save us! He/she's an invincible zombie-god!.... so special we just had to bring them back to live.... why couldn't they just invest money in fighting the reapers and got someone else to do the collecter mission. Apparently, the only real skill you need is not being a **** to your team and talking to them (power of friendship  ) |

And why is Peebee kidnapping Ryder in an emergency life pod and landing on a planet that the Tempest supposedly can't extract them from (can't they just hover above ground or something?..) is treated like business as usual? Why isn't there an option to blow her head off with a Shotgun? More lighthearted and hopeful narrative = F*ck responsibility and consequences... a game for the millennial generation!  Hyperbole, obviously... |

Frazier @tibermoon It's been heavily edited from the look of it, presumably to avoid spoilers. There are multiple dialogue wheels in that opening > Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon which are cut out entirely, for instance. I like PB tbh. She was parallel to what was described about her so the escape pod bit didn't bother me much. But if it bothers you, I'm sure it probably will be addressed either before or after the mission. |

They should have course corrected to do a quadrilogy with Mass Effect 3 being gearing up for war with the Reapers (as had SEEMED to be the case at the end of Mass Effect 1 before the council was suddenly like 'lol reapers, sure') and then had the fourth as the war itself. |

I can honestly understand why people mentioned "guardians of the galaxy", this short snippet certainly seems to have similar tone and depth. And what's up with the severe overuse of the "wake up robot to open door, trigger a wave of hostile robots"? Just...  True. It - again - looked very formulaic... wast high cover walls and all, and that after the devs specifically said it wouldn't be like that. Hate to say it, but all things considered, it IS not to hard to judge much of the full game from this one mission... |

It was the Hamburglar shouting "hey Ryder, scan that rock", you scanning a rock, you shooting a rock, SAM explaining that the console in the rock opens door (ffs...), wave of enemy robots. Rince repeat. Sprinkled with some cartoony rivalry between Hamburglar and that other Asari. This feels like the game was targeted towards cosplayers, not regular players. |

Mixed feelings. The action is good, but theres too much information on the screen, it can distract you from the pew-pew. Peebee's dialogue was weak, and the facial animations are not great as well. The krogan is awesome, though.

For what they had to deal with I say it came out actually well and would have worked alot better if they came out with the extended cut dlc at the time people would have been alot less pissed off. There would still be flaws but it would be alright. Besides, I can forgive alot knowing they gave me a Mordin that sings Gilbert and Sullivan (don't mention him singing Amazing Grace; that breaks me a little in side) |

My impressions: - Video cut through many things I think, so some things were out of context, still the guy says so in the beginning so it's fine, I'm a little confused as to how things happen but I'll try not to overthink it cause the game comes out in a few weeks anyways and I don't need that many spoilers. - I love Peebee even more... I was expecting a cheerful/excited character and I got one it seems. Also she totally tricked Ryder there lmao, I like that she's reckless, but for a good reason, probably  (didn't get enough details from this video). Also, cool she has a rival and stuff going on. - I still need to get used to SAM's voice filter, sometimes I couldn't understand what he said and had to go back a bit, then again english is not my first language so maybe that's the reason, everyone else was fine though. Boring rant: Even so I ALWAYS put subtitles in everything, games (specially), movies, be it in whatever language even my native one, because I just think it's more pleasant, sometimes other characters are cutoff by an action, or there's too much going on and I just don't hear it right. I don't get why they don't show these playthroughs with subtitles, would make my life easier  - I know it was cut cause spoilers but hoped to see the dialogue wheel, at least one time... - That guy doesn't know how to play... I saw Peebee dying from a mile away  And he was just there scoping. But I've seen so much combat already that I don't care that much, already convinced me with the previous videos. - For me there's never such a thing as too much banter lol I just think SAM could be less eager with the instructions there.
