There are also a lot of people being like "Why did they do this?" or "That doesn't look good" and being told to shut up. Or "They'll explain it in the next trailer don't worry." and then the next trailer doesn't help but adds more concerns. A lot of these concerns are similar in style to what people voiced about DA2, ME3 and DAI. Where people shouted them down and told them to shut up and stop having a dissenting opinion and just wait for the game. And then people did, and had their concerns confirmed and then were told "Shut up. You should have known the game would have this." There is a lot to be concerned about with the game. Those concerns aren't invalid. Claiming that the whole game is looking awfully bad is different from "I don't like this new decision." I also don't like not being able to manually set combos, at least for now, but I don't go full entitled douchebag and say that the game is a goat's shit because of it. Some people are just willingly looking for stuff to dislike, some aren't. Big difference. It's not that deep. If people see enough stuff that they don't like and feel is indicative of the entire experience, which is the point of the marketing materials, they're totally right to think its a piece of trash. It can look as pretty as it wants, but if it doesn't provide a good experience then to some people thats a bad game. DAI is a great game on the surface, and a 7/10 in a vacuum. But as a long time fan of the franchise, I had worries during the marketing phase and then played the game and was overall disappointed by the final product. I remember voicing concerns and being told "There isn't any way Bioware would do that" or "Yeah, but they probably added something super wicked awesome instead" or "something something they said in an interview something something just like Witcher 2" or "Fucking shut up you hater". I'm looking at stuff in MEA that strikes me the same way. I'm not going to say its a POS now, although with every detail that comes out I keep leaning towards taking a pass because I'm not seeing encouraging or exciting things, but I can understand the people who are ready to say it is trash. When you have people so staunch pro-Bioware, you're going to get people that decide to go full out the other way. |

Guardians of the Galaxy confirmed... or maybe a bad version of it because PeeBee is a tonally inconsistent character that goes from looking really goofy, to really cute and then really badass whenever the flying f the cinematic artists or animators felt like it. And you think it's cynic because people have gotten worse or might it actually be that the game simply is really poor looking? Considering it's the same tired crap being recycled for years... it isn't the game that is the problem. So nothing has changed negatively in terms of quality since ME1 is that what you mean? |

Clearly... couldn't be that BW has simply become bad at making good games/writing good stories after ME2. Personally, I thought ME3, for all its faults, told a stronger story overall than ME2. It actually had more focus, while it seemed to obviously try and clean up the mess ME2 left behind. Ok, given, but much of ME3 was still written by Drew, so... |

My impressions: - Video cut through many things I think, so some things were out of context, still the guy says so in the beginning so it's fine, I'm a little confused as to how things happen but I'll try not to overthink it cause the game comes out in a few weeks anyways and I don't need that many spoilers. - I love Peebee even more... I was expecting a cheerful/excited character and I got one it seems. Also she totally tricked Ryder there lmao, I like that she's reckless, but for a good reason, probably (didn't get enough details from this video). Also, cool she has a rival and stuff going on. - I still need to get used to SAM's voice filter, sometimes I couldn't understand what he said and had to go back a bit, then again english is not my first language so maybe that's the reason, everyone else was fine though. Boring rant: Even so I ALWAYS put subtitles in everything, games (specially), movies, be it in whatever language even my native one, because I just think it's more pleasant, sometimes other characters are cutoff by an action, or there's too much going on and I just don't hear it right. I don't get why they don't show these playthroughs with subtitles, would make my life easier  - I know it was cut cause spoilers but hoped to see the dialogue wheel, at least one time... - That guy doesn't know how to play... I saw Peebee dying from a mile away  And he was just there scoping. But I've seen so much combat already that I don't care that much, already convinced me with the previous videos. - For me there's never such a thing as too much banter lol I just think SAM could be less eager with the instructions there. Overall fun video! Agree with this! Video was great and Ian answered most of my concerns. The only concern I have now is that I noticed the banter was interrupted when Ryder did something. Hopefully banter doesn't get cut out by other ambient dialogue. Don't want someone saying "We're almost there" and inturrupt a cool story or conversation. |

Yeah. That was unexpected. In a bad way. She deceived and betrayed her ship's captain and crewmates. I hope the full game actually addresses this, or at least gives Ryder the option to address this. It probably will. Jani Kivelä tovarisc _ Is transition from view in the ship to launched escape pod smoothed over? Clear pause for loading there. Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon It's been heavily edited from the look of it, presumably to avoid spoilers. There are multiple dialogue wheels in that opening > Ian S. Frazier @tibermoon which are cut out entirely, for instance. I like PB tbh. She was parallel to what was described about her so the escape pod bit didn't bother me much. But if it bothers you, I'm sure it probably will be addressed either before or after the mission. That's totally fine, just as long as I can play a Ryder who isn't happy with being tricked like that. |

I think someone higher up on the team realised her execution had failed because she's the only companion to have a constant 'Fuck off and don't come back' player dialogue. Which gives me some hope that they've not made an Asari version of her. Right? Please? |

My personal view on the video:
I hated Sera's guts but I don't feel Pelassaria being at all like her. I don't know why people get that feeling to me she sounds like an over-active techie-nerd. She is cool.
I liked the combat/graphics and Drack so far.
I did not like how the avenger came out of nowhere during cutscenes. I really don't want that problem again.
I hate, absolutely hate that I have to hear SAM's voice over and over and over. It has no emotion, no feeling. I'm really starting to dislike the fact we are connected to the thing. EDI wasn't as intrusive as this thing.

It's very cathartic. So am i and I had no trouble. I actually quite liked Sera as a character, it was something different. Cassandra is still my favourite though. |
