Did anyone else notice when the rival asari (can't remember her name... Kalinda?) spoke that the lip sync was ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS and the facial animations in that particular scene were by far the worst we've seen? Cause I definitley noticed it. I went from being cautiously optimistic about this game to very concerned.

There are some similarities between Sera and PB, mainly that they both seem to piss off a lot of people. Other than that, both seem impulsive and hardheaded. But they differ a lot in many areas too.

Sera is easily my favourite Dragon Age Character. In DAI she was the only constant in my team...I switched out all others. I don't think she's that difficult to understand either. I can see why people may dislike her though. Sera's personality is a lot about her rationalizing things she doesn't understand...or doesn't want to understand. Like the Fade, Magic or Demons/Spirits. She'd rather stare down a High Dragon than take a walk in the Fade.

It's hard to tell how PB will be in the end, but nothing like Sera I think, more like Dagna. PB seems like the person who would be amazed to enter the Fade and she's be all over magic and ancient elven ruins.

The enemy indicator on the hud and compass is well thought out, it's a nice QoL change.

Now at least we know how the life support system is working.

Squadmates don't use cover that much, PB is almost always out on the open. :-/

Again I'm not seeing any substantial aspects to PeeBee, no plot and no objective characteristics that can be said to be similar to Sera.

I said archetype as a means to humor your term for characters that are "humorous, childish, and annoying" which have been the only adjectives people that are saying they are similar are using.
I don't see PB this way. These are subjective adjectives I don't agree with.

Mostly dialogue and cutscenes with it were heavily edited to avoid spoilers, that's why it feels so rushed and abrupt.

Scanning is not just for the mission but also for lore discovery. As a fan i am definitely looking foward to use it on animals, plants, fungi, enemies etcetera...
