Peebee's Loyalty Mission - First 17 min. (IGN) [SPOILERS]

Agreed. The like/dislike ratio earlier was about 75%. However the comments section was about 95% hate for the game. It made me really sad honestly.

It's one of the reason I've been rather dismissive of the people who did not like the game. I know I shouldn't be especially if they have legitimate gripes, but there were some people who were skeptical of the game were so toxic that It wasn't worth engaging with them

Agreed! I just read the comments, and left. I mean, they haven't even played the fully released game. We were seeing pre-release footage. Just wait, play the game and then give your opinion. Some of them, as you said, were so damn toxic

I really don't dislike most things as much as I do YouTube comments. I mean, I get why it's like that, but the way it's expressed is always so... It makes me want to just put everything away and go to sleep.

There are people on BSN that I disagree with quite a bit, and I still feel like there's at least a community there. Some dialogue. Some... I dunno... basic human intelligence. Even some really smart people.

YouTube just seems to filter all of that out. It's so wretched.

That's been my biggest issue. Im guilty of dismissing alot of the negative people because most of the ones I've met are just assholes who cant hold a conversation for more than a minute without throwing out the word 'fanboy' or 'blind'. 

Im not fucking blind, I just dont care. I dont care if the facial animation is sub par, I dont care if there's only 6 squadmates, I dont care if the AI isn't all that great. Im just happy I have another Mass Effect game to play, Im happy to dig back into this universe and to experience a whole new story. The only thing I ever expect from Bioware is constant improvement. If each subsequent title is slightly better than the last...then its a success. Keep in mind that things like story, combat flow and design are opinion based. It could be better or worse for some people depending on what they like.

Either way, Im excited for this game. People spend too much time digging into the various aspects of the game without looking at it as a whole. Hell, Im a fucking game dev student so you would expect me to be one of the more cynical people here but I can't do that. I love video games, especially ones that have stories which Im invested in like Mass Effect. Im too invested to let minor flaws destroy my hype.

I mean, full disclosure: ME is the only game I've played since I was a kid and the N64 was a thing and me and my friend would sit and play Goldeneye all day. Last I checked into games, it was...well...we'll just say that ME:A is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen that I can direct the action of myself, and if I WANTED to play the other games that theoretically look better...I would?? But I don't. I want to play ME:A. So.

First things first, I have a wild need to see that thing y'all are making a stink about -- the weird backwards jolt/face Sara does at the start -- with like. Bass dropping. Slo-mo. 'I don't **** with you' (I've got a million trillion things I'd rather ****in' do...) playing, or something. Maybe it's my inexperience, but I think it looks great, and ALSO is the funniest 'are you for REAL right now' face I have seen in a while. This is my best look into Sara so far, and it might help shape mine. Peebs and Sara having a snipe-y back and forth snark thing on the surface would be dreamy.

I feel like Peebee's constant chatter might be rushed because the player is rushing? Or editing maybe? Either way I'm not real worried. It's a little jarring, but nothing bad. I like SAM's voice. It's less grating than Legion's, but has the same electronic thing.

The jetpack's effect on Ryder's movement is interesting. Love the little details; scrambling up over rocks, smacking into them like a dang moth on a window. I definitely agree that the little fancy footwork is an awesome touch. It looks really great.

It's like 4chan if you remove all the comedic irony. 

The Comedic Irony is the only thing I enjoy...

Haven't had time to watch it yet but why does Ryder have a turian's waist? Is it the armor?

Oh totally agreed about that booty. Reminded me why I always start with a female protagonist! 😍
