Peebee's Loyalty Mission - First 17 min. (IGN) [SPOILERS]

Really, usually I am not one to criticize a person's play style, but if you are a gaming journalist, and if you are going to showcase a gameplay section of an upcoming game, please pick someone who can actually play it well.

It was cringe worthy how bad they were playing it.

You can direct them towards an enemy and they should use a power. I do have concerns on how well it'd work though.

I don't agree with the first part, but I do agree on the guidance part.

Please no more Witcher senses, that mechanic needs to die and never come back. I'll go insane if MEA is full of scanning.

I'm not a fan of the hand-holding going on and some of the banter came across as a bit, I don't know, juvenile?

I don't need or want a robot voice telling me how to do every single little thing and the other asari sounded like she was channeling a disney villain.

The combat looks fun though!

Nope. Pretty much just combat.

Damn that guy playing was really bad.

I liked the combat. Remnant tech seems really alien and the fight was really fast paced, similar to ME3 multiplayer. Drack was very good in combat , but PeeBee was falling more than a rotten fruit. But i suspect the guy playing didn't manage her weapons and skills better considering how hopeless he was in combat.

By the way, was i seeing too much or did PeeBee using a tech power?

Loved the visual from the Remnant, especially those "Walkers".


Facial animation with the same problem, but then this is probably the same build the press had acess to make the Preview articles.
And i notice PeeBee using a Avanger in the cutscene when she doesn't carry that weapon in combat. This is a annoying bug.

Also (not a bug), i really hope that PeeBee has some armor.



All in all, i liked what i saw. It definitely needs polish but it was nice.


ps2: One minute of silence for the sacrifice made by the valorous Remnant Observer. RIP.

The exact feeling I had.  I was neutral on Peebee but during the video I found her annoying.  She's like a character out of a PBS cartoon.  Pun intended.

I wonder if there is an off button for the sam thing.

Apparently it is. Scanning is how you find most of your tech upgrades and things to make weapons and armor. Sorry.

Looks fun. I like that Peebee seems to have her own rival.
