I hope Alec has a surprise comeback, but even though his voice actor is Clancy Brown (he will always be Mr. Krabs to me haha), Oblivion killed off the Emperor at the start of the game, who was voiced by Patrick Stewart, so a short-lived character voiced by a famous person would not surprise me. Michael Dorn didn't last long as a Krogan either and nor did Marina Sirtis (Liara's mother). This is why I worry about Natalie Dormer's character.

We can save Chakwas and can let her rejoin us in ME3, and her actress wasn't a no-name either.

I didn't expect the graphics or animations to look so good. It definitely has a "Mass Effect" feel and the voice acting is on point.

lol this thread got derailed so fast On topic. I hope Alec doesn't die too early in the game. Seems like the game was setting him up for his death at the end of the vid. Touching down on a planet with ominous things happening on/around it, being in the position we will be in, etc. They're all stupids. "There's a giant space booger stuck to the ship, let's all pile into a tiny little shuttle to go outside and investigate."

*cough* "My Son/Daughter you are the only one who can be pathfinder. There is...not 19,999 other people that can be in this position. Only you. Only you" *collapses overdramatically* Inb4 someone ruins the joke with technicalities/logic. But, in all seriousness now, things are not looking good. The last guy that went with us in the first mission ended up shot in the back. Why would Alec give his implants (or whatever it is) to their son/daughter if he's not dying? At least, that is what someone in the reviews said as to why you end up being able to switch classes instantly. He transfers this ability to you. You know, considering how he seems to hold us in high regard. Intriguing... This happens in every RPG since 8-bit era. You know a character is going to die, so you remove all their equip beforehand so you can use or sell it. Alec knows he is getting killed off, so he removes his equip beforehand so the twins can use or sell it. The only difference is back then, you had to do it yourself. Now in the modern age, games do it for you (along with just about everything else)

Brain implant is not something you can easily unequip, this will probably come as a loot after mission. Or daddy fooled AI budget department and installed kids same Pathfinder+ kit, just without activation. So the moment Alec goes off-chart, SAM is instructed to go deeper with twin of choice. *magical girl transformation ensues*

Then he activates some sort of self-destruct sequence and sacrifices himself so the player can escape with his brain.
