IGN: The First 13 Minutes of Mass Effect Andromeda Video

Welp, my hype died back in December, but this vid actually brought it back. I don't care if I spoiled something to myself as long as it was beautiful.
To clarify - I had some fond memories of DAI that were around "actually nice graphics and anims", but a few days ago I decided to rerun it and somehow discovered game actually looked way worse than MEA looks. Some cutscenes looked way worse too.

And I think I'm in love. Yep, it has some problems (unhuman head position to the point of neck breaking is in that list), but overall it's a game and I haven't yet seen a game without its problems. _{I also spent around 4k hrs in Warframe, so I'm really fine with them. I transcendent bugs, embraced them and love them, especially when they break the game to the point of laughing and being unable to play 'cause your hands are shaking from it.}
But what's shown in this video is beautiful, breathtaking and hypefueling for me.

There are really some strange animations in there. Pretty sure I saw some lady doing some forward moonwalk at one point, so a lot of things are still kind of janky. I wonder how old this build is.

I personally don't understand the brewhaha about spoilers. I actually like getting spoiled, since it prepares you.

I hate spoilers and felt I let myself get too spoiled before Inquisition, but I really don't regret watching this video.

Basically, it just made me so hyped. And I'm already looking forward to our relationship with dad. (Granted, I am an anomaly and my favorite character in DA2 was Carver....I don't know what that says about me, but still so excited.)

This gonna be good.

Dunno... I think she still comes off as a tad to masculine... which makes sense for who she is, I guess, but still.

I am so happy DadRyder is a professional uptight dickwad. The dialogue option "I wouldn't Know" when asked about him being a hard ass only confirms you can have a troubled relationship with your father. I love drama shit like this, perfect for roleplaying. I can see it now, my Ryder will be obsessively worried about their brother throughout the whole game while trying to come to terms with the strained relationship with their father. Gawd I can't wait. Also I absolutely love how the beginning scene follows suit of Mass Effect 2 & 3. Starts right off with a good slow few moments, then BAM right into suspense, and set up of the world. Plus the facial animations look incredibly improved. The little skepticism I had before has been choke slammed and thrown out the airlock. I'm back to full hype.

My only disappointment is the lack of zero-G gameplay. I really thought that was about to happen but then fucking Cora immediately turned the artificial gravity back on.

I mean, no offense to those defending Dad Ryder, but he's only being an asshole to Scott for the sake of being an asshole. Scott was actually agreeing with him that going to the planet was the best option. Another "conflict is mandatory in this relationship" from Bioware.

And to be honest, I think that is kind of stupid for the reasons he has stated, to follow protocol.
Maybe going there is going to turn to be the best option, but for reasons undiscovered at that point.
Seriously, your ship just got wrecked by a huge black thing coming out of space that you never seen or heard about before ("an energy cloud" was the best guess), and your golden world is right next to it. You think that everything will be perfectly normal down there?

Of course shit's gonna go down.
