Tbh I cannot think of any series of games that made me laugh so much. It remains among my all time favs.

The Secret of Monkey Island, that's the real jam the sequels never done much for me for some reason. and if we're going back than Lucas's Indiana and Full Throttle, them and of course Sierra's Space Quest saga, oh boy. So many laughs so many how-about-punchin-my-fist-throug-the-screen moments............ Back to the present, ima crying blodd tear, swearing, and sweating at learning how to fucking play with controller again.. Because of course i couldn't wait till next year and got myself so yeah

Giving Prey (the newer one) a go. Quite enjoying it, although I'm a bit lost. (Still, no lag. Which can only be a good thing )

Just started playing "Control" a few days ago.....i'm amazingly impressed with this title. It has a little bit of horror and whole lot of "Twilight Zone" and sci-fi/weird aspects going on....but the gameplay is enjoyable....the gun-play and telekinesis that allows you to grab anything and throw it?.....that mechanic works great and the action itself has some real weight structured to it.... i only ran into a glitch where you had to throw this gold cube into a square shape in a wall to move forward, but the cube never went into the slot....i was there for over an HOUR thinking i was doing something wrong.... ....after an hour of this, i just reloaded the area and on the first try, the cube went right into the slot.... .....still tho, other than that i like the weird, obscure storyline.... i started playing " The Surge 2" ...and eh, i guess this was supposed to be like a sci-fi "souls" game?....i kinda like the sci-fi setting but the combat can be frustrating and i'm not liking when you die, you a certain amount of time to reach your equipment (at the spot where you died) before you lose it forever....agggh i hate annoying game mechanics like that..plus furthermore - i hate respawning enemies....if i clear an area out, i'd like to traverse the area in peace...not be annoyed by respawning enemies....seems very video-gamey....but i guess that is how those "souls" games are structured...guess that's why i never purchased them, but i'm going to try and hang in there with this one... Lastly...i need to get back to playing " Hellblade"....weird story and while the fighting mechanic is pretty simple, the game has solid visuals and good atmosphere....they say the game is focusing on "mental illness" and i guess i can see it to a certain degree in the way the main character hears voices in her head, and maybe there will be this big reveal at the end, but it's really not anything i haven't seen before.....game is great so far tho...

The Surge 2 is a great game, but it's definitely a souls-like game ,thus it's not for everyone. Many players don't like these mechanics. I am a souls maniac and absolutely loved the game. Improved in every aspect. The Surge 1 was a good game too,but has many flaws.

I have build a new PC, currently im playing allot of WH40k Battlefleet Gothic Armada, finally, as it crashed allot on my old PC when i bought it 2 years ago, so i stopped playing. Also still allot of Total War: Warhammer 2.. The good news is that i finally kicked the Cunt Wars habit although i had more trouble leaving my guild then leaving the game.

Haha...this fan made game i thought was done really well. From reading the comments, they used various assets from other games, but i like the musical score and sounds used at particular moments of the demo... Its a bit rough around the edges, but i understand the creeping animation and an attempt to make her sound scared or frightened from seeing the dead bodies....the ending is pretty funny too....i really like how they used the musical score from the movie here tho and Michael and the female lead look decent here for a fan made game...... Now of course i didn't play this, (wasn't really sure where to put it) i just happened to catch this on youtube and again, for a short fan made demo..i thought this was ok.... atmosphere was good here too!

I bought Anthem after x-mas and been playing it now almost on daily basis. First it felt quite messy and learning curve too big to have or maintain any interest. Few bugs here and there but it feels ok game right now. Of course not in ME3 multiplayer level but better than MEA. Had a few good laughs when throwing inferno nades against rescued fellow sentinels and other players after mission and watch them burn. Middle age man giggles like a school girl.

I have to still finish the main campaign with last boss fight but there haven´t been around other players to play with. Tried it in solo mode but got killed or it felt too long lasting and boring.

After ~1.300 hours or so of Anthem I gotta say this game kinda ruined other games for me in the sense that every other game feels so slow and boring, especially open world titles which I never was a big fan to begin with. The other day I was at a friend's place and he played Assassin's Creed Odyssey and I was like "wtf do you need to walk for minutes to get there. In Anthem I would have been there hours ago with triple dashing and flying" and his answer was "yeah I know what you mean, I can kinda feel it as well". So the only game I'm looking forward to now and know I will most likely enjoy is DOOM ETERNAL. But most other stuff I have seen or played a bit was boring and too slow. Tried Destiny when it became F2P and quit it half an hour later when I noticed I could not even dash.

Just because a game doesn't include "fast"gameplay it doesn't make it boring. There are different game types. For example the souls-like games are well known for their gameplay quality and they are not "fast".I understand it's a personal feeling and everybody enjoys different things though.

Yes, it's a personal preference for sure. I like fast and action-paced. Even better when I can play fast characters as well. I play 3 out of 4 Javelins in Anthem, but can never be friends with the 4th because it's way too slow and heavy. The souls-like games are a good example: totally not my cup of tea. Not because they are hard, but it's just too slow and boring for me. Fast Ninja Gaiden on the other hand... totally my thing. Same with shooters. Can't get myself to play "standard military" stuff. Doom or Quake or Shadow Warrior on the other hand... I love this stuff. In ME3MP I could barely touch anything but Drell because they were usually not fast enough for my liking.

It's not hard to get where you're going quickly when the entire game takes place in a tiny, re-used environment. I solo'd my way through the story with the Storm, and have soloed two out of the 4 Strongholds on Grandmaster, and I have to say, the game really provides no incentive to keep playing. It is easy, repetitive, and recycled. I have less than 100 hours, and there's pretty much absolutely nothing but RNG grind for better rolls on items left. Which would be fine, if there was variation in environment and enemies. I have no idea how you have managed to put in over 1,000 hours without burning out.

Which would be fine, if there was variation in environment and enemies. I have no idea how you have managed to put in over 1,000 hours without burning out. I don't think the environment is tiny. If you had to walk all that or ride it on a horse or something it would be quite a long way. That being said, of course the world could and should grow, but I absolutely love the scenery. And it's not about beating the game. It's more about having fun with the gameplay, getting better gear and cranking up those damage numbers, doing leaderboard challenges or speedruns with others. You gotta like these kind of games of course. And yes, more content would be great but I just like fucking shit up all the time, especially soloing. We need higher difficulties now though and I'm looking forward to the overhaul of the loot, crafting and inscription mechanics. But as far as enjoying the gameplay goes I'm having a blast with each of my current 5 builds (even though 2 are lacking the proper components a bit). And by the way: Isn't ME3MP basically repetitive as hell as well with the same 10 rounds all the time. Yet a lot of players manage to play it for thousands of hours without burning out. Heck, some speedrunners play the same games for decades without burning out
