APEX HQ (N7HQ v2.0) revealed

So why exactly is my smartphone, which is only 8 months old, incompatible with the Apex HQ app? Why would a catalog app even need certain specifications in the first place?

(Sigh) You really know how to make me feel good about my preorder, don't you EA?



EDIT: I went back into the app screen on Google Play and it states that the app cannot be installed for any of my devices in my country. I suppose this means the app has not been officially released or activated in the US, despite it appearing in the store. Why even make the app visible before its launch in that case?

Speaking strictly as a developer, I don't get why not just a website. Making a mobile website is easy and you only have to take into consideration screen size and layout. Mobile apps, while code reuse is at an all time high between devices, it's still a lot of extra work for different devices. Kind of smells like they want to datamine stuff from your phone...

Also the app is apparently just as buggy as the rest of the game because it's been pulled from the store at the moment. I'm genuinely worried about every angle of this franchise because everything so far has been pretty poor and the amount of obvious bugs is disconcerting...

I don't even have electricity. Are these fascist sonuva bitches going to chisel my ranking on a stone tablet or is someone going to lose an eyeball?

I was able to download it. It has a 75% chance of crashing with any form of input on my Nexus 6.

Notifications were standard and with constant notifications of friends playing and no way to turn them off, it was promptly uninstalled.

Using APEX HQ on iOS at the moment, seems to be working just fine. Question, though, when looking at your loadout, some of the weapons and mods appear to have a little exclamation mark in a circle in the top right hand corner, and I can't for the life of me work out why?

Im currently running a few strike team missions on the app before the game comes out. I really like that I can manage my teams away from console.

I do think its ridiculous that there isnt a PC version or a web page for the app for when you are not on the game. Perhaps theres an android emulator for PC you could sideload the app with?

Wow, that's incredibly stupid. 

It really was a sight to see.  The mindset and rationale is interesting.  They can't see past their own nose and are completely oblivious to it.  I have decided that in the future I don't care to see anymore, but it was pretty spectacular while it lasted.
