The Apex HQ seems to be working nice at least for me. I installed it on my phone to try it out. I'm not sure if I need it or do I even want it, since I can do the same stuff in-game aswell. But I can understand a lot of people will like it and use it.
Keeping the strike teams busy while out of game is handy

Especially when you can't access the mp bc of work before the timer runs out. I still plan to play most of them open in mp myself.

huh ... the App kinda works fine for me too ... but all my strike team missions failed so far (although the success rate was 70%+ ) - I just gain a little XP... will keep trying though could it have something to do with not playing the game yet (due to being European and not comfortable with VPN ...)?!

Don't think so. I'm not playing yet, too (Germany), but all (well, two) my teams made it with the 70+-rate. BTW: What happens to the team, if it fails? Negative traits? Totally wipe? I'm a bit shaky sending a team with a 55 % success rate...

So far the worst thing anyone has observed from a failed Strike Team mission is that the team gets a negative perk. We're not sure exactly what it means but presumably it makes future mission success lower in certain situations.

I like the app. It is much more streamlined than anything in the game, especially for those aiming for a full manifest.

Aaaare there any plans to make HQ thing nested in a website, or are phone(s) (emulators) our only recourse?

either way I just installed it on my phone, and not gonna lie, I really like it! I like that because I can do the strike teams thing straight from my phone its basically like any other mobile game, plus being able to do my loadouts from my phone is cool too.

If anyone has problems with the apex app, just restart your phone and it should fix it. It was working fine for a while then it got really really slow to react when you touched on any of the menus.

By your logic, everyone should be able to afford a smartphone because they, at some point in their lives, have purchased something more expensive than a smartphone. So for people who can barely afford game consoles, who carefully arrange their finances to get them because they enrich their lives, there should be punishment in the form of an unnecessary restriction? not "at some point in their lives", but rather at the exact same time that they're playing on the latest gen gaming consoles and buying games costing 60 bucks. for people who can barely afford buying game consoles: these people should live within their means and should not be purchasing gaming consoles, they should prioritise more important things like food. these people wont need to access Apex HQ on a smartphone because they cant afford a console in the first place. they shouldnt be carefully arranging their finances to buy a console, that's completely silly. i'll say it again - they need to learn to live within their means. as a poor guy, you wont see me trying to arrange my finances to buy a ferrari, for example, and then complaining about the high price of tyres. i hope more games release essential game content that can only be accessed on smartphones. Oh my my - so impressive. Are we to gather you are some sort of CEO big boss person ? Couse its almost sound like the old ( well not so old ) internet tough guy "I'r navy seal 1v1 me scrub". First of all - the people whit limited income or from country's where the income standard is low but is possible to live whit - they also do enjoy entertainment. I'm happy you "dont care couse i'r big boss" but i do care about people i know and already struggle to buy the latest games. Second is the fact unlike spoiled little brats - some people buy PC not only to game but also to work. So they manage to kill two birds whit one stone - aka its not only luxury but a necessity. And lastly - i know a lot of people been stupid and buying stuff just to be trendy - Apple been a leader there - just so they can go been usless in some cafe showing that "yes indeed im also a twat and have expensive pice of junk in my hands". But i would rather blow my head off before i spend 1000$ for a phone. And my current smart phone is good - but nowhere near as good as my PC. For one i dont like destroying my ayes on tiny little display. Second i have great gaming kayboard and mause - a much more effective tool to navigate. So the question stands. Why would we get a mobile application ( harder to make then browser one ) instead of a much more easy to access and use web base one ?

I just failed 2x 90%+ success rate missions and 2x 66% success rate ones in a row. Either I have horrible luck or something isn't working properly. Also when I viewed the 66% mission in-game it was listed as a 0% success chance so I think something is broken at th moment.

why make an app and block half your player base off from using it by not making it available on the windows phone /tablet store ?
this kind of retarded thinking explains even more why they have such a bonk ui and bad animations they were making them for inferior products .....
btw love chasing the exit button round the lobby screen .....

I understand random is random but this is borderline cheating.

I for one enjoy the app!
Sure, it couldn't hurt to have a web version as well but at least it's handy to have around. I don't have time to play as much as I used to a few years so it's handy to be able to at least send out my strike teams as often as possible.
I'd say that the push notifications are a plus for an app as well. It's just faster (at least for me) to just open the app and send out a new mission every time I get a notification since I can do that wherever I am.
